    Your using butt connectors and wire taps on everything you do no soldering or heat shrink and you still charging$100 an hour. You could have done a cleaner install just say'n.

    • @octanetvchannel
      @octanetvchannel  3 года назад +1

      Well thank you for your valuable input but we've been using them for over 25 years with no issues. Large companies use butt connectors and t-taps with no issues that's why 3M is a multi-billion dollar almost trillion dollar company because they make products that work and have worked for over decades. it all comes down to the installer if you use them in properly yes they will not work correctly but if you're a good installer and trained they will be solid with no issues. Sorry that using these products offend you there's more than one way to do anything in this world. I prefer not to solder because I've had multiple problems with soldering in the past with types of installs like this

      @@octanetvchannel You mention "good installer" why aren't you one? If you have had problems with soldering it was because you aren't trained at it or just didn't do it correctly.. I am also concerned that you are so defensive of honest criticism. In my experience you are just trying to justify cutting corners. That last paragraph just sealed your conviction with me and a few others that are sitting here. Hey, with all that, have a great day.

    • @octanetvchannel
      @octanetvchannel  3 года назад

      @@piscestoo please explain to me how constructive criticism in your paragraph is saying that someone is not a good installer? Please provide us with all your videos of your installation and your years of experience. We've installed over thousands of amplifier and car audio applications. Please let us know if your expertise in this and how many views you have on your channel of all your professional installations. In over 22 years we have never had anybody come back with any complaints of any of our stuff failing using any of our 3M products. That's why 3M is one of the largest companies in the world and their products hold up with no complaints. Maybe instead of criticizing somebody's video you should think about everybody's preferred method of how they do installation. There's always one way or better yet multi ways of doing an installation. It doesn't always have to be one way is the correct way there is multiple ways of doing any installation. If you prefer to solder that is your choice just not ours. I'm not going to sit here and explain of why we don't solder. Thank you for your lovely comment and all your negativity. We are trying to provide people with insulation videos to show people how to do installs while all you do is criticize what we do and call us bad installers. Maybe you should work on being a more positive person and you'd have more views on your channel. Thank you for your time and I hope next time you'll think about what you say to somebody and stop being so negative

    • @octanetvchannel
      @octanetvchannel  3 года назад +1

      Honestly I can't remember but I believe where we mounted the amps right underneath that is a metal bar that goes across underneath the carpet. You can either ground it there or the best way to do it is just run a ground and power directly from the battery

    Can you mount the Amplifiers in the cargo bays?

    • @jhs5150
      @jhs5150 Год назад

      The side bays are pretty small and the amps might not fit. If you mount a sub in the center bay the amps would be sitting right under it - probably not a good idea. Mounting the sub(s) in an external box at the rear of the car would work but then you'd have to make sure the roof panel cleared it if you wanted to put it in the trunk. One way or another you're going to have to mount something externally.

    • @xbdrabbitx

      @@octanetvchannel Very Nice.. question. can you tap for the speakers behind the factory radio and get direct signal to the speakers in the door, or will it route thru the bose processor located above the accelerator pedal first? I'm getting mixed reviews on this. Based on what people are saying, the bose radio sends signals to the processor and the processor sends signal directly to the amps in the front doors for sub, and also sends signal back to the radio for it to use its internal amp to power the 3.5" twiddlers and rear speakers.. so I want to be sure that the wires behind the factory radio will route directly to the front doors and not to the bose sound processor.
