I'm not a huge fan of the single din because of the bezel, but that isn't on you guys. What blew me away was the meticulous attention to detail and how professional the wiring was. You guys do some amazing work. Good job!
Thanks for the explanation on adjusting the boost and gain level it makes sense now why it was getting distortion on my audio control amp so quick. Thank you
I have a 2002 base model vette with stock bose speakers. All i added was a 600 watt alpine amp and one 10" audison enclosed bass speaker and let me tell you. It hits and sounds delicious.
Dean & firnandow love your vids keep them comeing allway canny wait for the next one lads keep up the good work your vid have helped me so much here over the pond.
Looks like someone is dusting off some older install videos. Gotta keep feeding the algorithm! I can only assume not a lot of new installs are going one between Knowledge Fest, global supply chain issues, etc. Keep up the good work boys! Videos are so good, I have zero issues re-watching them!!
Great video. I have a c5 I am getting ready to upgrade the system. A question: When is the stock speaker wire not enough? I am planning to use a Infinity Kappa 255a 5 channel amp I have had in the closet for 20 years. Not sure yet on what size speakers in the front, except I follow your lead and use 6" mids and a 10" sub in the rear.
I know that it's possible to use the factory Bose amp on something like the aftermarket 6x9s you've installed here. Do you have experience with using the Bose amp for the front door speaker replacements? Could you make a video of an installation? Thanks.
I took out all the Bose stuff accept the processor and the roemvet. Put all the new 6.5s on a 4 channel amp. Now at times all the speakers on the amp cut off and come back on. I can't figure it out
thanks again. I don't have a router but handy with the jig. Made 6x9 adapters for the doors. I can't wait to hear it. the doors rattle too much for bass so I'm moving the bass to the trunk. but dam, this is gonna knock!!! thank you for the awesome idea. You should sell those adapters.....
What would sound better in the doors 6x9 Coaxials or 6.5" Components? I just bought the same car and looking to do a full build on mine just don't know what do go with. Thanks in advance.
The amp rack looked like ABS plastic ...speaker brackets looked like he used blown PVC...it's a lighter weight material thats not quite as rigid as ABS but works great for speaker brackets
The 10mm behind the reflector is for the window adjustment. Also so if you have one of these and want good bass from the rear and good clear sound with bright highs what would you recommend? I was thinking the Bose subs in the C5 the amps were mated to each sub individually?
Not sure why the customer wouldn't spring for the Metra (or other brands) double din console. That single din radio looks ridiculous. Hell of a job on the project though!
I'm surprised you guys use factory speaker wire so much instead of running new wires in your installs. The factory wire is total crap, makes a huge difference with all that equipment being installed using good speaker wire.
that is the tackiest corvette i have ever seen! ...i bet the owner has a comb-over haircut, a gold chain with a splash medallion, & an ugly hawaiian shirt unbuttoned down to his navel showing off his "lee-press-on" chest hair!?!?! ...but who am i to judge... i drive a firebird... (haha)
When I was an installer I was the "Corvette Guy" and fucking hated it. Corvette owners are the worst. They think they own a classic... It's not it's a mass produced sports car get over it.
Installer did a great job as a teacher with this install.
that vette is straight pep'boyin
Made my day! That thing is the whole Vato-zone/pep Boys catalog, lmao.
I'm not a huge fan of the single din because of the bezel, but that isn't on you guys. What blew me away was the meticulous attention to detail and how professional the wiring was. You guys do some amazing work. Good job!
I enjoyed this, I like watching a full install packed into one long video!
So so good, wow just incredible attention to detail!! Amazing, it’s a bucket list for me to have a stereo installed by 5* even just a head unit.
I really like the complete build videos. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the explanation on adjusting the boost and gain level it makes sense now why it was getting distortion on my audio control amp so quick. Thank you
Man, watching you wire an amp is so relaxing. And then you go, holy $#@! I would have never thought of that. You guys are awesome

Full builds rock keep that up im sure you got a ton of these...
Looks awesome as always. Love these full videos thanks guys.
This car is straight Pimpin😂😂
yeah.... you can hear the sarcasm while tv is on mute
Kenwood has no bass!
I can see Pionner Boxes everywhere around ur shop. More stuffs from them?
Hey Dean that front door speaker opening is Gerald from Hey Arnold the cartoon….😂😂
To funny
Another art work from dean👏
I love these full install vids. Keep it up! That dash was a mess to take out :O
Great video!
Do you have the 6x9 adapter for sale?
Thanks

Good learning from this video 👍🏻
awesome work guys keep up the great content.....love these full builds...
Thoroughly enjoyed this upload! Thumbs up from me as usual... Stay safe... Rico
do you guys sell those speaker adapters for the door 6x9's?
That front door speaker 🔈 space is shaped like Gerald head on hey Arnold…..
OMG omg omg, me favorite Corvette, yay gona enjoy the stuff out of this one... the chrome though, very Merican!
Do you sell the door speaker adapters? Need some for my corvette.
2 minutes into this video and this dude has me dying 😂
How much for a set of those door speaker adapters? I've got a C5 I'm looking to upgrade to a double din & 5 channel amp.
05:10 👏👏👏Yes Sir, absolutely!
What kind of Subwoofer enclosure did you use on this project?
None It's a stand alone like this one: ruclips.net/video/UxkjOYY203E/видео.html

what should blow you away is how a car audio shop can afford the tools to build those 6x9 adapters......hot cosby

Wow, 6x9's in the door is insane. thanks for the advice.
Fernando is the Braun behind the brain.

Do you guys do labor only if I bring in my own radio and bezel?
Where are yall located at? I just bought a 97 vette and it needs a speaker upgrade bad!!
Will this head unit work with the CD changer in the rear?? Thank you
Its the c6 vette where the amp is in the foot well.
Do you sell the 6x9 templates for the doors ready to go?
Same question. I would love a blank pair.
What parts did you use for the battery connection. Thanks
What kind of plastic is that that was used for the amp rack and 6x9 brackets? Great work!
The amp rack looked like ABS plastic ...speaker brackets looked like he used blown PVC...it's a lighter weight material thats not quite as rigid as ABS but works great for speaker brackets
what's the total cost of this setup that you did for this corvette items plus install?
The 10mm behind the reflector is for the window adjustment.
Also so if you have one of these and want good bass from the rear and good clear sound with bright highs what would you recommend? I was thinking the Bose subs in the C5 the amps were mated to each sub individually?
Also I cant remember the years or if it is all of the C5s but in the lower passenger side floor board panel up near the tunnel GM put a RAP pig tail.
I need that 6x9 bracket any for sale?
How did you get the power cable to the amp?
I’m 56 with a C5 convertible. Is that considered a young or old guy with a C5?
Not sure why the customer wouldn't spring for the Metra (or other brands) double din console. That single din radio looks ridiculous. Hell of a job on the project though!
Because the Metra kit doesn't match the texture of anything else in the car. It's a huge piece and looks like crap.
How much do would you charge for a set of those front door adapters for the 6x9's with shipping? I need those bad for my C5
is that amp rack just wedged in there???????? :o
Looks like the weight of the amp and trim panel keeps it in place
Do you know anyone in Greenville Sc who does installs like you do, or who you know is trustworthy of installing. Thanks for any advice.
You would be better off just taking a trip to Florida!
Woud that amp not have fit under the front seat??
No the seats go all the way down
Hell yeah
Ooooh ahhhhh a vet,
A vette
Needs a New Balance vanity license plate
Man I'm only 23... my wife says I hit midlife crisis early. 🤣
I'm surprised you guys use factory speaker wire so much instead of running new wires in your installs. The factory wire is total crap, makes a huge difference with all that equipment being installed using good speaker wire.
Definitely an old guy's car..lol
As a "non-old-guy" Vette owner I completely agree. Thing looks like it came out of a Cracker Jack box, lol.
It's because young guys can't afford one.🤣🤣
That radio is discontinued.
Why not buy speakers that fit the hole ? Too much work there, I'll be shopping for a different brand speakers and radio !
Waste of 500 watts . Where is the sub?
There was a down fire box located in the back.
1:11. 🤣
that is the tackiest corvette i have ever seen! ...i bet the owner has a comb-over haircut, a gold chain with a splash medallion, & an ugly hawaiian shirt unbuttoned down to his navel showing off his "lee-press-on" chest hair!?!?! ...but who am i to judge... i drive a firebird... (haha)
Lol
boomered out c5
When I was an installer I was the "Corvette Guy" and fucking hated it. Corvette owners are the worst. They think they own a classic... It's not it's a mass produced sports car get over it.
I own a C5 and I completely agree with you. I love my car, but I also realize I don't own a Bugatti. We're not all douchebags
My brother bought one for a daily!!! Definitely not classic cars with gas so high!!!
Ugliest corvette WTF was the customer thinking??
Bose lmao 🤣😂😆. More like blows lmao
I know this is old but cmon Kenwood with all the non-biodegradable packaging. Look at all that plastic and styrofoam.
