  • Vladimir Putin has an insane plan to restore the former borders of the Soviet Union - and his next step might be to backstab Belarus - Russia's closest ally.
Belarus is a small country that is sandwiched between Russia and Ukraine, and Vladimir Putin doesn't like that one bit. He's been undermining Belarus ever since he came to power, and this latest plan has been revealed by a leaked document, where his administration will attempt to backstab Belarus and take control of the country. If this plan goes through, it could lead to war between Russia and Belarus, and possibly even NATO involvement.
We'll also be discussing the Ukraine war and how it's affected Russia and Belarus, as well as Vladimir Putin's relationship with NATO and his vision for a restored Soviet Union.

My guy the leaked document about annexing has been reworded by western media, Before i explain, I am Belarusian myself and i live in Belarus, In the small city of Salihorsk
Belarus and Russia both have their plans to unite their countries into one, this is because of the close relationship between the two countries, And i can confirm that as a Belarusian, Russia just feels like another part of my country, there is almost 0 difference between life in Belarus and live in Russia, it doesn't even feel like two different countries, we all speak the same language, we live the same, we basically have the same laws, and much more, Rus is even in our countries name, BelaRus, We are also called Belarusians or White-Russians, And much more that makes this a good plan as in the end it would combine both economies into a even bigger one, Stop trying to spread misinformation over my country and Russia, Because it is simply not true.

Hitler sought to use this as casus belli, a reason for war, reverse the post-1918 territorial losses, and on many occasions had appealed to German nationalism, promising to "liberate" the German minority still in the Corridor, as well as Danzig.[26]"

Not only that - he also used all of our neighbors to join the attack - liethuanians, ukrainians slovakians and soviets including belarussians and ukrainian minorities that lived in poland. 1 september 1939 was not war of germany against Poland - it was war of germany, slovakia, liethuania, ukraine, belarus and soviet union against Poland.

It’s again overestimating Russia’s capabilities. We must see the so called power of Russia in perspective. Russia is a huge country in square km, indeed, but only has 146 million inhabitants. This is 40% of USA or Eurozone. The GDP of Russia is only 4% of the GDP of the Eurozone + USA, this is equal to the GDP of the small countries Belgium + Netherlands. And less than the GDP of the state of California. Relatively (per capita) the GDP of Russia is very low. Beside that the economy of Russia has signs of a 3th world economy. Half of the income is coming from oil & gas. Based on this, Russia isn’t a world power. And for sure, it isn’t a economic power. This is the reason they can’t built up and maintain a big army. The army they already have is far beyond normal proportions in relation to their GDP. This hurts their budgets and prosperity permanently. In this perspective, Russia is a weak and autocratic ruled country with a huge inferiority complex and dangerous megalomaniac ambitions. The way they chose will be their Untergang.

Many have overlooked that it is Russia that put Lukashenko in power in 1994. The elections where manipulated by Russia. So an important part of context is missing in this video.
Belarus is under russian occupation since 1996, when masked soldiers have stormed the parlament to put the country totaly under the russian control. Lukashenko as an occupational governor acts only in the interests of Russia. He forcefully replaced the national white-red-white flag with the occupational soviet red-green flag. It was imposed an official status of Russian language in Belarus. NKVD style death penalty practices where revived. Goverment, policy-making, courts, miliary, media, internet and business are totally under control from Moscow.
Aging Lukashenko was due to replaced with a brainless Gazprom clerk in 2020, but unexpectedly for the Kremlin planners, milions of belarusians went out on the streets to rise the true national flag of Belarus. The protests where brutally suppressed by the army, tenth of thousands where thrown in Gulag-type jails. Inmates who dared to speak belarusian language where marked with red paint and where subjected to unstoppable tortures. Some where tortured to death. Public opinion polls in this circumstances is a joke.

Unfortunately, Lukashenko is a bit oblivious to the situation, best example to illustrate this is when he shut down the plane in 2021 with dissident, Roman Protasevich which led with numerous sanctions resulting West forbidding flight zone over Belarus. The best play now Lukashenko is to do nothing, either way he loses. If Lukashenko somehow loses power to Belarus people, Russia will 100% invade it and we will have repeating story just like in Ukraine. That’s why the result of war in Ukraine will affect Belarus as much as it will Ukraine. Also, the 'insane' think you keep mentioning about Putin is and was very obvious from the very beginning for us Baltic states and Poland, Lithuanian's president Dalia Grybauskaitė was calling Russia terrorist state since 2014. EU unfortunately, put a blind sight to it to have comfy life for their citizens (buying cheap gas and other resources. And western media kept idolizing Putin.

As someone who grew up in Belarus, I can't stress how this avoidance of any war and "instability" is ingrained into people's minds. Another thing is that Belarusians have a really weak national identity-culturally, they've been almost totally Russified and are pretty much Russians without the imperialism part and with a humble Belarusian vocab. Then, the Belarusian military has never even fought anyone (the last time being the Soviet-Afghan war as part of the USSR).
I think the only reason Belarus has managed to avoid Russian domination so far has been Lukashenko's alliance with Putin. The moment Belarus would show signs of a serious schism (not just the petty trade wars), Russia would attack. But so far, Putin just didn't have to.
So, the majority of Belarusian population are spineless people. Unlike Ukrainians, their anti-government protests were all naively peaceful, and we all know how that turned out. So I'm pretty sure Russia will eventually succeed, unless it commits a major blunder in Ukraine. Belarusians can talk all they want about not wanting war, but sadly they just don't have what it takes to resist.

    • @SiarheiSiamashka
      @SiarheiSiamashka 8 месяцев назад +1

Imperialism is a cornerstone of the Russian culture and identity. Removing this part makes a completely different nation. And yes, the Belarusian language exists too, even though there are policies in place aimed at eventually eradicating it (done by Lukashenko and sponsored by Russia). As for the "spineless people", Ukraine is simply a much larger country than Belarus and stands a better chance. And don't forget that that Belarus lost the highest percentage of population among all USSR republics (and possibly even among all countries of the world) during WWII. Pretty much every family had very painful memories of WWII without heroization or glorification. Not wanting a war is not just a talk.
