bought a 5820 cpu for $318 on may 27,2016 vs $1700 for this 6950x. wow price performance ? opinions? yes 5820 is older technoly and only 28 pcie lanes but?

how do you (a relatively small channel in terms of subscribers) get so many review samples? how many do you buy, how many are sent to you and how many do you ask for?
yea, beast has grown but in price most!! 70% more cost and you get about 20% more performance over 5960x and only because of 2/4 c/t more

I really don't like the price hike, here's hoping that AMD might be able to increase competition and drive intel's prices down. The performance increase is pretty decent though, just the price is too high.
This is basically a class for itself, Intel so to speak isn't aiming the i7 6950X to be comparable with anything else on the market.
