You could not live in the 70 s and not know his music. He is loved by millions and I'm so glad he is still thrilling his fans.
Love all his music.😊🎉❤
Me, too. I bawl like a baby at this song.
I lost my dad in 79, watched him die for 25 straight days knowing he wasn't going to survive.
You can imagine the feels
I know it's about a romantic partner but so many lines relate to my memory of that time.
I just adore him. Boogie Shoes is my all time favorite ❤
Harry is REALLY good. A wonderful musician. All my respect for him. Love and sound!

KC and the sunshine band was the best Disco/Funk bands and my favorite songs were " I get lifted " and "Boogie Shoes"
Hs voice only got better with time! Great KC.
Love the song "Please Don't Go"
Please Dont Go...fantastic song...period
Love Casey & KC & The Sunshine Band🎉 I just really miss the 70's costumes they wore... wish they still did this.
His first name is actually Harry - Casey is his surname, i.e. Harry Wayne Casey.
@@janishart5128 Of course it is... fans have known his name that grew up in the 70's. "KC" is a play of Harry's last name "Casey". His performance was filled with fun & excitement, he shook his booty off...😄 take it to heart - Hart👍🏼💜
@@hunnybunnyssunshineliving5155: Hahaha! I see what you did there! 😉😁

What HASN’T this man done?!?
An european singer called Double you sang a covers of kc back in the 90s i didnt know after years later but kc its awsome
Che Emozione ero un ragazzino
Siempre excelente
Great trip with you little big man
Being from Florida, I always expected him to talk with more of a southern accent.
Southern Floridians aren't culturally "southern."
Wow 5 comments and 1 person says kc don't no how to sing. This world sucks now
The song Please Don't Go bring me so much memory, I was 17 I was in love with KC!
I agree
Thank you the same to you.
The
He basically brought the MIAMI SOUND to Disco
What does "MIAMI SOUND" mean?!
@@honestone1894: Awwww!!!! SO disappointing! You could have just provided an answer, since you seem to imply that you know what it means! Thanks for NOTHING!! Janis Hart, from my phone.
@@user-wd7ex4gr6b I don’t even think YOU URSELF even kno wat ur talking about rite now 🤣🤣😭
@@janishart5128 🤦🏾♂️ r u serious right now , that’s like asking what is Detroit sound or Memphis sound, or California sound, it’s THE CITYS SOUND 🤦🏾♂️. Like wat the hell is wrong with u people 🤔
@@user-wd7ex4gr6b and for the record ASSHOLE I never knew that Janis had even responded back I’m just seing it so u can kick rocks with a DEEP TOE SPLINTER for all I care. Ouch
And no word on Rick Finch...
I know, not a 'popular' subject but he was a crucial part of KC & Sunshine Band...
I was there back stage, Zuni NM 1976
Didn’t they have a falling out back in the 80’s?
@@ccryder1234: So, tell us about it!!
@@joe56984: Yes, they did. Finch was arrested years ago on a morals charge involving a teenage boy. It's mentioned in a video on YT and there are articles about it on Google.
What about music during long term pandemias=LTP,, how you will call it
I wish he played instrumental screaming vocal melody played on synth. Massive earth shattring tone. Space showers
He "crossed state lines", very brave admission in 2021.
😭🥺
I didn't know Rush Limbaugh is Harry Wayne Casey.
That isn't Rush Limbaugh silly. It's Meatloaf.
@@WithaJoeFro is papi from Miami
Why is Casey still wearing that stupid earring?
Looks lovely
Because he’s KC
He's awesome
Maybe it's symbolic to him.
Dude has a heart of gold.
He has a terrible voice when it comes to ballads. I don't mean that as bad as it sounds, but he truly is not a great singer. In the 70s their music didn't require a great singer, and it seems his songs were either in a very low register (Get Down Tonight, I'm Your Boogie Man) or a higher register (Please Don't Go, Wrap Your Arms Around Me, Keep It Comin' Love).
As the years went by he started singing almost entirely with the higher register and to me it just never sounded good.
And you have released what?
WithaJoeFro - you don't have a clue with that ridiculous comment. If you don't like the way he sings don't listen . Like P Daniel said ---"and you have released what". KC is and always be awesome.
I think KC's iconic-ness, with respect to your point of view, boils down to a couple things:
1) Eddy Murphy said in his 'Delirious' stand up. "You don't need to be a great singer, just be interesting".
2) An old 'Rolling Stones' music critic (can't remember his name) said "A great singer can be identified within seconds of hearing their voice. They have that one unique quality that's different from the rest. You know instantly that it couldn't possibly be anybody else".
I believe KC fits within those definitions.
I like his voice now even more than I used to when I was a little girl.
The kind of shit a nerd who cant sing would say. The only person I've ever met who criticized vocals like that was a dude who thought he could sing and sucked.
