  • Instrumental version of the George McCrae hit. KC's first album was all instrumental. His label boss suggested McCrae record this, KC's first of many gold records. Recorded at the Miami Jai Alai Fronton in '74.

The man knows no racial barriers. This guy, Harry Wayne Casey, was BORN to funk. And he wakes up each morning READY to funk. I'm fairly sure he never questioned or even played the race card when it came down to crafting these now timeless funk classics. Although I do have to say that next to Boz Scaggs, Daryl Hall, Robert Palmer and the baddest of them all, Rod Temperton, Harry Wayne Casey is hands down the most kick ass, whiteboy funkster in the planet!
