He did die in New Dawn we believe. Though he can be seen in Far Cry 6, I'm sure Far Cry 6 takes place before ND. Also, Boomers "grave" could also be a memorial for him. Nothings for certain, but all dogs die eventually, but they live on in our hearts forever.
Felt so sad seeing Boomer's tomb in New Dawn ,infact seeing all the location turning into wreck years after nuke hit makes us emotional
Boomer didn't die, Hurk apparently shipped him off to Yara in far cry 6. Although they call him Boom Boom now. He's alive anyway.
