@@jbud475 I expect them adding few mini games and combat-based events. They do that in PGR which I think is fine as long as there's ALWAYS combat content.

This will be my 2nd Gacha game I've tried after HSR. It looks awesome so I think I'll like it
What drew me to the game were the echoes tbh... especially the turtle xD
Tied 2nd for me in echoes is Crownless Echo which is basically playable Foul legacy and thundering Memphis purely due to how badass their multiple fade out, slash, fade out, slash animation is
You know, not even Genshin has done something like this in the beginning of their launch.
Ill say Wuthering Waves is off to a great start
Genshin didn't even have to do this at the start. They just had to treat us well each anniversary, after many years of loyalty.
Instead they just slapped us in the face with ungrateful, garbage rewards. That's why I left. They didn't respect me as a fan and a player, nor did they respect the money I poured into their game. I'll gladly give all of my disposable income which would have gone to GI to Kuro instead.
I'm willing to bet though that things will turn around this year for Genshin's anniversary. They're going to suddenly give out a ton of rewards and the bootlickers will say that it's them being nice, even though the only reason Mihoyo will do better is because they are scared of Wuthering Waves

The thing is, kuro has an amazing reputation for responding to the community, and they give out s rank selectors in pgr, and because wuwa has to compete with genshin they will definitely up the rewards

@@envytee9659 It's so weird that Genshin and Star Rail are both made by Hoyo. Star rail is super generous compared to Genshin, and actually has a ton of endgame.
I'm happy because we'll be getting a lot of Lustrous Tides. I might just need to use a bit of Astrites and save the rest for limited characters ☺️

It's fine. We're getting 80 Standard Pulls at launch:
- 20 from the 30 million pre-regs reward
- 10 from the livestream rewards
- 4 from daily login
- 6 from the in-game shop
- 40 from getting to level 35
This isn't even including all of the other wishes that we will likely get from playing through all of the story, exploring the maps etc.
As long as you are playing the game well, you should be able to get the random 40 pity character AND the selectable 80 pity character within the first week.
Does any one know how many pulls (radiant tides or astrite - premium wishes) we getting for "limited character banner" (Jiyan, Yinlin) on launch day?
so far it seems like 10, but that's not counting all the astrite we're getting from stuff like the echoes event and pre-registration, and i be forgetting other stuff too

I’ve added up all the lusterous tides we are getting and there’s 74. We are getting atleast 74 lustrous tides. Please do correct me if I’m wrong tho, cause there might’ve been stuff I’ve missed, but adding up all the times lustrous tides are a reward adds up to 74 :)

All the free stuff sounds like a good start, but what free stuff are we going to be getting after like 1 or 2 months? Perhaps Nikke has spoiled me, but I pull for every character and I only have the monthly subscription which is £4 a month, and I currently have over 150k gems, so a bit of math says I have 500 spare pulls in Nikke after getting every single character. I'm not expecting to be swimming in Astrite, but it would be nice to have a surplus.

Most of free stuff is only one time for the new best game hype. Mission currency gain will be pretty standard to genshin😶🌫️😶🌫️

It's normal for gachas to lovebomb players initially to get them hooked and make them reluctant to leave once they've invested enough time in their account (sunk cost fallacy). I believe F2P income will probably be similar to genshin, though it's still relatively better considering the slightly better rates in WW. Spenders will also have a much better experience in WW thanks to the much improved weapon banner.

After you spent the 40 pulls and got that random 5* character... you'll be able to choose a character that you want within 80 pulls!

Is one time deal, once you get 5* of your desired choice next one is around 80 pull and will be random 5* ( just characters no weapons)

you do the daily missions to get more pulls, and then spend those pulls to try to get echoes, by the way if you have someone you know that's gonna play the game you can share echoes with each other with a link, you have a chance of getting the echo that's sent to you by clicking the link

From what I understand from the standard banner selection. It's guaranteed that you will get the 5 star character that you select within 80 draws or lower if you get lucky.

there's no 50/50 in limited weapon banner, you can pull and you will ALWAYS get the limited weapon

First time random. Second time selector.
There is the beginner banner which gives a random 5 * character and it will disappear after getting that random 5 * character. The other banner allows you to choose which 5 * you get but it has 50/50 to it.
Free chars and weapon is good...but i heard this game is a must coop....man,,,, this sucks...feels like better version of tof
