I’m currently playing the beta on my iPad and finished the first 3 main story quests and did a bit of exploring. I say it was interesting, but not enough. The first issue is probably that story mode is the current dialogue in only in Chinese and not in English so I’m having trouble following the story. Second (and my main issue) is the storyline is cliche, like a world that is in an apocalypse with humans struggle against aliens (BoW, ToF, and maybe Genshin?) and the MC is either the outsider or the Hero of the world. The typical Outrider who tells the MC the information about the world and her work for the Midnight rangers. It seems that there’re not much about her or other characters (I maybe mistaken) For the game play, there are too many buttons and I kept using the dash button instead of the attack (again using the iPad) so i can tell it’s going to be hard for mobile players. It takes me a while to figure out how to solve the puzzles either because the tutorial is vague or I’m too dumb (example being the vine spikes). But the world I say looks beautiful and the music is good I went and exploring a lot of places and the character design is decently well, with the resonance on their bodies. I play Genshin just to catch with the main story. The tons of so needed QoL features we still haven't gotten just kills the fun in game for me as a day 1 player.
As a genshin and pgr mobile player im really hyped for ww, always wanted something like genshin but not genshin, hsr was good for half a year, but bad story and autoplay 99% just didn't worked for me, hope ww not gonna succ in story and powercreep
Best thing is that they like "yeah were making a game hope you like it" not like tower of fantasy that came like "yeah were genshin killer lmao crylaught emoji"
WW is a Genshin copy, ToF WANTED to be Genshin copy but it wasnt, it was mmo gacha that just doesn’t work. Also a lot of bugs, A LOT of micro transactions, like almost every freaking stuff can be bought, insane powercreep, clunky world, animations, bad story, lack of quality of life changes, the game like has nothing to offer to compete with Genshin, the only plus is visual world and characters, but now its like 10x or 100x smaller players base than Genshin. WW is a Genshin copy formula with their own elements like battle mechanics and pokemon hunting, will see what else next
Ling yan was already introduced to wuthering waves trailer over a year ago (but he looks a little more furry than the current) Before Gaming was released or any leak about it.. So im pretty sure wuthering waves didnt copy Gaming.. It might be the other way around
lingyang looks extremely similar to gamings concept art ngl 😭 gaming also had white hair, ears, and a tail. i know this is a coincidence, but i still find it interesting.
i like his current design so idk if an animal wouldve made sense for him like i get Kirara and Yae are youkai so they get animal traits, so what if the old Gaming was a youkai that moved to liyue?
It doesnt look like a genshin killer but i would say it is Genshin 2.0. The fact you can walk on wall, yield gun and catch wild animals as you artifacts is definitely going to win me over genshin. Not to mention there is endgame content. I just hope it doesnt have the super long dialogue (and annoying PAIMON) and cutscene that are not skippable in Genshin. I am not a story guy but more of action/combat oriented gamer. So look fwd to thus game. Pls launch the game early before the hype goes down.
Seems to be a combo of Genshin and Tower of Fantasy. Gacha more like Genshin, but world and combat seems more like Tower of Fantasy although I will say that looked like Dueling Peaks from Zelda at the beginning. I will give it a shot. I played Tower of Fantasy for six month or so before stopping. Hopefully this holds better.
Ngl I wouldve switched games (from genshin to this) IF only this was purely fantasy What I dont want is they mix tech and magic. Genshin is pure fantasy, with little to no tech, and if there is tech, it has little to no impact to the overall gameplay experience, which is why I like genshin. Not just this but Ive dropped multiple games where they combine tech and magic, like honkai, ToF etc. I just dont understand what is the reason they try their hardest to combine oil and water: tech and magic
Exactly. It's dumb imo; that's a reason I like Genshin, I can just chill and look at the scenery. (Though I love Star Rail too). I'm not really one for playing these fast paced combat games. :/ But this is indeed a new game, there's new game hype. More than likely the hype will die down about 2/3 months after release as the new game hype for HSR died down a bit about 2/3 months after it was released.
Since ww still isnt fully released so this might not be 100% perfect yet but im looking forward to this game!! (I run out of resin too fast in hsr i need something else to farm in another game)
I watched 2:52 mins of the video and can tell already: this game is way better than genshin in all the ways possible Edit: 3:49 - it keeps getting better (the fighting mechanics are sick) 4:50 - G U N 4:56 - Wall Run???? it doesn't stop 5:50 - Gacha System is crazy, 80 Pity with guaranteed limited after 50/50 loss, AND THE WEAPON GACHA HAS A ACTUAL GOOD 50/50 SYSTEM, item exchange is way better too, THEY JUST SELL CONSTELATIONS LIKE WTF????? And having a separate banner for non-limited characters and weapons is REALLY good. The Summon animation is, as well, better (B 0 0 B S) conclusion: I'm quitting genshin after the release of this game.
it does get me thinking... did they allow you to actually post the video even thou the game is still in beta version? i mean genshin did alot of NDA's not so sure if Wuthering waves is lenient about it..
They didn't just allow you to post and make a content out of it, they glad and appreciate to cc for giving their thoughts about this game so that they can improve more
People forget this Game is from Kuro, Punishing gray raven company, so it also has a lot of similarities to it, it feels like the best of both worlds (genshin and pgr), hoping it lives to the hype
One of the goals people should hope for this game is not to be a genshin killer, but to be the rival genshin needs. This will help both games do better and bring more things to make the devs and players happy. Hopefully the people screaming" this is so much better than genshin!" or "genshin is trash! Play this!" can at keep theur mouths shut so maybe we can see how things will go without major toxicity.
I think it can give Genshin competition to give better rewards but with the core of Genshin's players being casuals that like easy combat and big exploration, whereas WuWa looks to be more gameplay focused with decent exploration, I wouldn't expect Genshin to change a whole lot since the games cater to two different player types.
@Elio-nu3fz not surprising when PGR cultist hate Mihoyo even before Wuwa was announced. like how they had to show their monthly revenue from Nier collab and shitting on Honkai3rd for making less. 😂
Sure, IF they don't implement a predatory powercreep to make old characters weak every new banner to force people to spend on new ones, like Tower of Fantasy...
If the game is for the casuals then I might stay playing both genshin and this but if Ww is just too much of a hassle then I'll only try it for the experience.

P.S. The gacha in PGR is fairly good compared to other gacha games, so if a genshin saint plays PGR or probably this game too I can guarantee them a pleasant experience.
I cant wait to play and make content for this game. The combat looks incredible!
other than the open world, WW seems to have more similarities to HI3 than genshin when it comes to combat. i think that’s pretty neat, imo stuff like qte, different weapons, attack combos and ultimate evade makes battle quite interesting
they also seem to let you get wavebands a bit more easily? overall im pretty excited to see how it turns out, seeing the guaranteed weapon banner got me kicking my feet rn /hj
Taoqi....OH, her. I remember her. Another streamer I follow had fun with her character. Wonder if they changed anything in her kit from CB1.
The aesthetics of HSR, open world of Genshin, an the combat Mechanics of HI3
It sure does look incredible.
Make it a goal to defeat a difficulty 6 boss in Hologram. Bosses have moveset that are locked in that difficulty.
this is prob replacing genshin for me as my main gacha game but i will still play genshin cuz genshin is still a amazing game.
I play Genshin just to catch with the main story. The tons of so needed QoL features we still haven't gotten just kills the fun in game for me as a day 1 player.
As a genshin and pgr mobile player im really hyped for ww, always wanted something like genshin but not genshin, hsr was good for half a year, but bad story and autoplay 99% just didn't worked for me, hope ww not gonna succ in story and powercreep
this looks so cool and fun to play. cant wait till it launches
Hey Moga there is also a tutorial section for each character if u need to know the basics of their kit.
We need part 2 sir
I'm happy you like it 😊.
omg ive been looking for someone who got lingyang as their 5 star *checks when moga goes live*
"last live 1 year ago"
The combat i think they inspired by PGR (same game from kuro)
Best thing is that they like "yeah were making a game hope you like it" not like tower of fantasy that came like "yeah were genshin killer lmao crylaught emoji"
wait did they really?
They didn't.
@@danifit24Saying WW is a genshin copy already invalidates your opinion, rookie.
@@yomoheiliv6375 is rookie the only insult you have
like slurs are right there go for them
Moga push til you get to union level 20 and play the rogue like mode as well it's awesome
Very excited for WW. Sadly didn't get a CBT2 code :(
Ling yan was already introduced to wuthering waves trailer over a year ago (but he looks a little more furry than the current) Before Gaming was released or any leak about it.. So im pretty sure wuthering waves didnt copy Gaming.. It might be the other way around
parry makes gameplay so fun
Wuthering Waves
Pros: It is Genshin Copy
Cons: It is Genshin Copyyyy!
The sidescrolling gave me heavy Rayman vibes
im so excited for this game to come out omg
lingyang looks extremely similar to gamings concept art ngl 😭 gaming also had white hair, ears, and a tail. i know this is a coincidence, but i still find it interesting.
Gaming when he was full potential
Bro's straight up older than gaming's concept art by like 3 months.
@@shadowboi8620 I never said he wasn't? I said that they look extremely similar.
i like his current design so idk if an animal wouldve made sense for him
like i get Kirara and Yae are youkai so they get animal traits, so what if the old Gaming was a youkai that moved to liyue?
@@roxas5071 he'd be an adpetus not a youkai. adpeti are from liyue.
if Moga already enjoys Wuthering's wall climbing. wait till he tries Project Mugen ariel traversal
Genshin 2.0 u mean genshin competitor. 2.0 sounds like a ligit copy paste and I take it personally 😂
@@Delightful567"ligit copy paste" ~a rookie
Seems to be a combo of Genshin and Tower of Fantasy. Gacha more like Genshin, but world and combat seems more like Tower of Fantasy although I will say that looked like Dueling Peaks from Zelda at the beginning. I will give it a shot. I played Tower of Fantasy for six month or so before stopping. Hopefully this holds better.
Have you play Palworld? I would love to see a video of you playing!
Can't wait for this game to come out!
If it comes out on PS5 I'll give it a try. Looks fun
Ngl I wouldve switched games (from genshin to this) IF only this was purely fantasy
What I dont want is they mix tech and magic.
But this is indeed a new game, there's new game hype. More than likely the hype will die down about 2/3 months after release as the new game hype for HSR died down a bit about 2/3 months after it was released.
i just hope that WW. have better community relations than Genshin.
Since ww still isnt fully released so this might not be 100% perfect yet but im looking forward to this game!! (I run out of resin too fast in hsr i need something else to farm in another game)
I watched 2:52 mins of the video and can tell already: this game is way better than genshin in all the ways possible
Edit:
3:49 - it keeps getting better (the fighting mechanics are sick)
4:50 - G U N
4:56 - Wall Run???? it doesn't stop
5:50 - Gacha System is crazy, 80 Pity with guaranteed limited after 50/50 loss, AND THE WEAPON GACHA HAS A ACTUAL GOOD 50/50 SYSTEM, item exchange is way better too, THEY JUST SELL CONSTELATIONS LIKE WTF????? And having a separate banner for non-limited characters and weapons is REALLY good. The Summon animation is, as well, better (B 0 0 B S)
conclusion: I'm quitting genshin after the release of this game.
This actually reminds me if Genshin had a kid with Hi3. I quite like this? I honestly can't wait and i hope it does well
nah, sounds more like those are the only games you've ever played
@@zenmirio5178 but you didn't deny what he said at all. It's all about attacking his creditability. 😅
@@macontu01pretty sure neither Genshin and Hi3 has pokemon system that u can turn into the monsters u captured, also the core passive system as well.
@@SmolPetals yeah, this game is more like a saturated version of nier automata with a more open map, and additional features like echo and parkour
@@zenmirio5178 very condescending but ok, sure. I was just mentioning the combat feel but whatever
Hope this game Doesn't disappoint me just like Tower of Fantasy! I hope I will play this game just as much as Genshin!
This look good as a beta im looking forward to it and cant wait to see lunch of this game but for shure ill be playing that good day or night everyone
bruh i had genshin blowing my storage now this
As long as Alpha Crimson weave will be there… pls be there!!
Its a Lion head, just trying to be culturally accurate!
It's smarming, a totally original character like monald muck
I dont think they copied due to this year being the year of the dragon, but he was out before Gaming
it does get me thinking... did they allow you to actually post the video even thou the game is still in beta version? i mean genshin did alot of NDA's not so sure if Wuthering waves is lenient about it..
They didn't just allow you to post and make a content out of it, they glad and appreciate to cc for giving their thoughts about this game so that they can improve more
I have some questions:
Can you pull of multiple combos like in a hack & slash game? (xxx, yyy x,y,x,y,x,y)
Does this require to be online to play it?
"It's gaming" 😂😂
Im not really fan of the character designs of this game but I like the game mechanic and the bosses
It looks like such a good game, I don’t think I have time or storage for it though…
9:19 starrail style but genshin character 😂
The old man's trial is for the ori gamers 😂
"oh..! we got a mAAANN" JFBSKWMSLBFJSBAOQK
"GeNsHiN kIlLeR" ahh game rep
i didnt really like pgr but this time im playing this game for sureeee even if its similar to pgr fighting mechanic it looks amazing
so far i ill try it for the wall climbing and 2 units i like
People forget this Game is from Kuro, Punishing gray raven company, so it also has a lot of similarities to it, it feels like the best of both worlds (genshin and pgr), hoping it lives to the hype
Praying for a surprise Xbox release, but dang I am excited for this game.
@Elio-nu3fz honestly not really that surprised there's a hate cult
@Elio-nu3fz not surprising when PGR cultist hate Mihoyo even before Wuwa was announced. like how they had to show their monthly revenue from Nier collab and shitting on Honkai3rd for making less. 😂
Sure, IF they don't implement a predatory powercreep to make old characters weak every new banner to force people to spend on new ones, like Tower of Fantasy...
If the game is for the casuals then I might stay playing both genshin and this but if Ww is just too much of a hassle then I'll only try it for the experience.
This game is awesome .. kuro will release this game in oct or november the game needs to fix for another 8months and were good to go!!
Dude you forget the dancing turtle🐢 iam disappointed
