I have owned this car in Adventure Rhythm manual spec. Completed 11,000 km in 10 months. It is a practical city car with easy ingress/egress for older family members, ride quality at highway speeds less than 100 km/h is good. Great set of speakers at this price. Small enough to park anywhere in city conditions. I am happy with the car and my family is happy too. Braking is adequate and the NA engine means it cannot hit speeds where the brakes will be overwhelmed. But brakes could be better. Maybe a tyre upgrade might help. Best wishes to Tata motors team who built this underrated gem.
Tall boy car, and a good looking front. Anyone looking for an alternative to wagon r, would probably like this since it provides that visibility and bigger space overall.
Your videos are just so refreshing, absolutely love them. And yes, I bought a Punch back in Feb 2022 for my father who is almost 70 now. The looks, build quality, interior space, and feel of sitting in a bigger car... all made me go for it. Less power was a bit of an issue, even for my father who drove Alto K10 before. I drive a Tiago. Must admit, was mighty tempted to go for a Punch. You are.. and there's nothing wrong with that as long as we understand why. The lower stance of the Tiago means the suspension has to work less to control the body movement and can therefore be more lenient(pliant). Whereas on the Punch it has to be stricter. The Tiago is a surprisingly spacious car for its size, no doubt. But, the Punch has its advantages - which you have listed too!

Yasss! Have been looking forward to them launching an iTurbo and an EV since months! Apparently it is being tested right now, so fingers-crossed, it might happen this Diwali.
Somehow i like cars like these. Sensible, compact, higher ground clearance and headroom, decent power and the best value for money with good safety. Its ok if the punch lacks a kick, that i will get from my bike anyway 😊
The main problem you face with Punch or any other tata cars will be on the service part. Engineers ain't understanding the issues that a customer is experiencing, which leads to worsening the whole customer experience & their car experience. Have seen this multiple times, when the owner complained about the delivery of their new car. The dealers had promised additional things, which will be there at the time of delivery, not just under body coating or rain cover. But none of them were there when the car was delivered. It included even petrol, which they had agreed upon with the owner & the owner got stranded the moment he took the delivery of his new car as there was not even one litre of petrol in the car. The cars getting paint cracks after it's service, like the nexon getting paint cracks near the door handles. Especially a first time car buyer going through such things, are not that appreciated in the market.
the after sales service is why didn't go for tata, as a 1st time car owner. the hassle of dealing with tata's employees and after sales service is something i didn't want. Suzuki may not make safe cars but there is no dealing with people with their cars nor their issues. for a 1st time buyer, peace of mind that the car just works with the occasional but timely service is important. their dealerships are not good either, they don't really entertain if you come for a product that sells well, whereas other manufacturers go out of their way to please you.
@@mg1721 yeah, once you visit any other dealer irrespective of a bike or a car, they collect your phone numbers & try to call you for discussing offers. But this ain't happening with Tata. I had been there multiple times to test drive the Safari, they aint seem to be interested in calling me afterwards. (telling about the normal man's vehicles) My father sold his Maruti Wagon R 6 years ago, even now he gets call from them for discussing their newer models & other emi plans. This is some small things that makes you feel good of owning a car from that manufacturer. Irrespective of how tech loaded or safe a car is. At the end you'll have to deal with them at one point or the other.
@@aravind1264 if this is how they treated you for safari which is the least selling car from their stable, that only tells you how bad their staff is. they only seem to care about the latest product and ignore the rest. their attitude is more like: i don't care, it's you who needs the car, this is the quotation if you like it book it or go away.
Hey Aravind and M G, thanks for diving into this and sharing your experiences. Agreed - the Tata legacy of quality and poor after sales is a stumbling block. I think the 3 year 100,000km warranty tries to address these concerns.
First of all, Big fan of your work, kudos to both the presentors and the team behind the channel. I just like to share a few owners exeprience as I am owning a TATA Punch. I bought it last month, and clocked it around 1600 in 20 days or so... This is my 6th car, but first new car. Earlier I used to own a TATA Safari 3 ltr, then a TATA Safari Storme, a Fiat punto 1.4 ltr petrol, a swift ( for 2 months ), a Ford ecosport and now the Punch. So I am not a new driver. But the Punch satisfies me with all it offers. In 10.4 lakhs I got the whole car with 5 star safety rating, with a touch screen, semi digital instrument cluster, sun roof, auto headlamp and wipers, hand rests for both driver and co driver and for the back seat also, push button start and the list goes on. To live with it, I am very happy on a daily drive of approx 30 km regularly in city conditions. In and out of the traffic is now easier and drives smoothly. Noise is minimal and vibration is also very less. So experienced drivers will not like it is just a phenomenon. Yes of course, it's not a sports car and doesn't behave like one but I am happy with it as of now.
My first option for our first car was to buy a used Ecosport but after Ford left india, I started to look for other options and heard about Punch, took my family for the test drive and they loved it, I wasn't sure at first but after the test drive, I started liking it because of the smooth clutch and driving ergonomics, it wasn't a sporty car but after looking for used cars and good options were around ₹ 5 lakh area, we decided to go with Punch and after 18 months of ownership, I'm happy with Punch more than ever.
You nailed it HPV, rightly said! I did consider this car for a while as a second car but defiantly needs engine upgrade or even EV version will do great on this car! Info system lags, looks outdated, lot of UI estate is wasted...
We purchased Punch in Nov 21. All positives and negatives you mentioned are spot on. I'm just sad that I couldn't drive it daily because of high fuel prices, but then I bought it only for family travel so daily commute wasn't on my list then, neither is now. Whenever I'm driving it, it's a delightful experience. Car really feels nice for the price. Truly people's car and definitely more car per car. Cherry on top is after sales experience has been nice so far. If you're 6ft3in like me, or taller, what better option do you have at this price?
Forget about the car it’s all Mr. Kartikeya Singhee who’s a gem in the automotive journalism industry! I have been watching his videos from auto car india , love your work bro! Keep going!!! I watched this video just because of your thumbnail 😂
I recommended a punch to a friend and he wanted a AMT and my only issue was the AMT gearbox it would have been so much better to have a DCT or a D-CVT like the Toyota Raize . Infact a D-CVT goes very well with a 1L Turbocharger too. But all said my friend is a happy Punch owner.
No hill hold assistance in Punch amt yet..Even in new engine update 2023. MS updated all its amt cars with hill hold assistance. So I cancelled Punch Adventure Rhythm AMT ..looking for an amt car with hill hold assistance
Being a Tata Nexon owner, I totally agree with the Infotainment being old and sluggish. With Tata having jewels like TCS & Tata Elexi in its crown; we all expect a better software experience. Hopefully, the updated infotainment which is already available on new Harrier & Safari hits the spot. 😊
HPV is a great idea. But you haven't touched up on how much of a difference the new engine has made on the NVH. That would have been nice. My brother in law got one of these a couple of months back, so the old engine. Just wanted to know if he missed out on much.
I have completed 11000 on punch almost 80% on highway. I think for highway it is best in case you are not in rush. Stability - mileage is good on Highway.
I've been driving this car for a few trips with friends recently (my friend owns it) and I've been pleasantly surprised by how smooth it runs. I drive an old Figo which I know Singhee loves but the punch trumps it on ride comfort and cabin experience. It does feel fairly underpowered especially when you travel a lot through the western ghats and that's where I wish it shared the turbocharged engine from the Altroz. Btw, it's a manual and I am not a fan of Tata's AMTS' and this is coming from an ex Tata Motors service advisor. So... Go figure...
Amazing video. I have been watching many punch videos lately for the last 2 months.. But I think this is one of the best. I bought punch on 28th Feb 2023 before your video came. But after watching your video I am more happy that I bought it. Keep making such amazing videos. Plus your electric scooter comparison video is also amazing.
Big fan sir! Congratulations for this new YT channel. I am absolutely loving this new way of making automobile videos, looks classy and sophisticated. I can predict this channel will grow like crazy.
Sir you forgot an important point. After sales service. Which is horrendous according to forums and users. It also factors in what tata motors need to improve.
Great video …but it would’ve been helpful if you could have mentioned the alternatives that you suggested. Require more videos like these on small cars.
Really high quality video. Great production value. How about a video on the best car for a driving enthusiast in India that's available to buy! (Polo and Abarth Punto not on sale) Something that combines practicality and usability with a powerful engine and great handling and ride dynamics
Owing a Punch. Been a year. Very happy with the build, cornering stability with minimum roll, braking confidence. Cons would be Poor service support by Tata and missing the punch'ness when crossing 100.
How bad is the aftersale service? I do not think it is Bad enough to be a deal breaker or else Tata sales would have fallen instead of rising....also service quality depends on dealership and not necessarily on brand. You will find horror stories from Maruti, Hyundai, Kia and MG also....
I don’t think the solution is a better engine or a better transmission. Though they may help on the occasional out of town trips. But as a city car. The biggest thing that can make this car the best city car is it’s EV counterpart. Which, if all goes well, is just around the corner. The day Punch EV gets launched I’ll Pre book it as soon as I can. Loved the Tiago. Took a test drive and felt it’s perfect to replace our 9 yr old Duster diesel. Just felt like the Tiago lacks character and feels a bit dated. Punch on the other hand will just be the perfect EV.
@@motorinc I've one request.. If it's possible please make a video on Ciaz because i want a perfect analytic video of ciaz with your production touch ... specially those cinematic shots Thanks.
This new style of presenting is more appealing and relaxed than earlier. I am glad you have gone this route. White backgrounds, clear language, ambient lighting in studio, apple style presentation. Good. But please please for sake of originality, don't do much of that text ppt stuff. It feels like a mockup video of a new Apple product. Just fill in with car visuals. It's not that iam a professional car presenter, but i appreciate good car content
Do you own one? Thanks for the feedback. Brakes, didn't feel like an issue for us. Will double check next time. The Tata factor - now they offer a 3 year 100,000km warranty to tackle those perceptions.
@@motorinc The biggest issue with Tata Motors, right now, is the very hit-and-miss after-sales/service experience. It stops me from recommending these otherwise brilliant cars, over the other plastic, 0-NCAP-star, death traps sold by the dozen. Every time I push people to buy a Tata, they bring this up, and I don't really know what to say. If you guys have any connections with the brand, kindly send this through to them, as I am sure countless Tata Motors owners are too.
Tata service is not bad as made out to be online....moreover every brand will have some bad dealers. The service center problem is they do not wash and polish the vehicles properly and might give it a bit late than promised. On the other hand you see one instances where Maruti was caught red handed where the vehicle was washed and polished perfectly and delivered before time but open inspecting the dashcam it was found that no oil change and mechanical services was done....also there are many stories of new gen Maruti and Toyota vehicles, where service center is not able to diagnose any problem thanks to their complex hybrid system and untrained staff on new technologies, as a result they are sitting in the service center for weeks clueless....
@@motorinc No I don't own one. I used to own a 1st gen swift. Last year August I was in market for a hatch so I have test driven Punch AMT. We liked everything about the vehicle but the brakes just didn't gave us the confidence. The Tata factor is absolutely is true I have experienced it myself in Bangalore but as buyer. I went to a very renowned dealer in Bangalore and took a test drive for Tiago. The vehicle wasn't clean there was clear rusting marks on the boot. The sales person told us the vehicle you will get will be better than this. Test drive vehicles are representative of what we will get if thats not upto the mark I doubt their service. All other dealers from Hyundai, Maruti, Renault from the same area provide neat and clean and brand new cars. Even cars from used cars dealers were in better condition.
Hi team @motorinc , this video is about the BS 6 phase ii? Because i am hearing a lot of positive comments about phase ii. More power , engine refinment and milage? Can you pls throw some light?
I'm not interested in the Punch still here I'm because of the Quality of the content 😩❤️. Beautiful Narration and Production Quality. I have endlessly seen all of your videos since the beginning of the channel just because how calm and relaxed they're. Keep up the good work ❤️
I bought Tata Punch Adventure Rhythm Manual Transmission Feb 12, 2022. The piece delivered to me is having issues of squeaking sounds from the door just before covering 1000 km, went to dealer they changed the beading and again the same sound, It lags in second gear and not giving me confident in overtaking in Rural roads, again took it to dealer they said that the delay in pick up for 3 to 5 seconds upon pressing the accelerator pedal is normal laughed and did first free service, Again took the car for some ECM module issue, the car gave me more mileage in City mode(20 km/ltr) and very less in Economy mode (14.7km/ltr), again service center said its software issue, Did Re-aptation kind of stuff and still same problem persists. I was informed by service center that Punch customers often complaining the squeaking sounds from doors and thus Tata has introduced a modified Beading for the frames and i am taking car for replacing for second time. Regarding the Lag in second gear and sometimes putting accelerator pedal to fullest my Punch is hesitating for 8 seconds to respond and produce the equal amount torque i required to climb, so i have to shift to 1st gear and then to second, poor service person told me to use only 1st gear in climbing hills like Tirupathi ( wherein my old A-Star climb the same in 3rd gear too). I demanded for the replacement of complete ECM unit but they are pushing for software update only, i did that too but no use, Even in quarter tank of petrol it starts to show low fuel and the indicator will go off later on (wiered). There was a beep sound (radio tuning kindoff sound) coming continuously from just above rear left wheel they replaced the fuel pump but no use..i am used to ride it with songs played all the time in my car wherein i love to go just with cabin sound in rural roads. As of now no issues has been sorted out and some sounds from dashboard, fuse box , as of now i have covered less than 9000km.. Only satisfaction is riding comfort is very very good, confident inside car, 19km/liter in city mode ( a malfunction in ECM is doing soo). One day after taking reverse the car didn't responded to go forward, accelerator went dead.. i switched off the car and then it got resolved, In the logs of ECU module service person said he didn't find any error codes and car is fine.. god only knows what these guys are hiding.
Hi Srini, that is disappointing. I do think you should share this with Tata’s customer satisfaction touchpoint. Have copy pasted this from their site For Passenger Vehicles Email Id - customercare@tatamotors.com Toll Free Number - 1800 209 8282 Do keep us posted!
Loved the punch ! Did a test drive… honestly it drives amazing for the city and that’s all that really matters for me. But been hearing a couple of punch cars have caught fire off late which seems quite disturbing 😳 any thoughts on this?
Hi Team, loving the reboot and new videos. One request, can you please do an honest and brutal review of Skoda Slavia? Would really help for a decision.
Quality of video is definitely up there, but it lacks a very crucial element, music.! Certain seamless sfx could’ve been added to make the video pop more.
@@motorinc I did watch few more videos on your channel and found sound to be lacking. Even in your monologues/podcast ambient noise is just distracting. But, as I’m writing this, I also realised my feedback was not asked and I shouldn’t have just pooped up like this. Apologies for the rudeness. Love your channel, videos are great and adds tons of value. Wish you the best!
Bought a Tata Punch. It REALLY is spacious, much better than Nexxon or any other competion. The safety standard puts you at peace. It is a little less powerful but in the city, you'd never feel, or even in the highway for that matter. You can easily go to 120 kmph. But uphill roads are a no no and really brings out the underpowered side of the Punch.
nice video. regarding the cons, i would like to add that in a market where SUV or alleged SUV are meant to look beefy and tough, this looks like tata trying to sell a small hatchback as an SUV and it severely lacks in road presence. i mean, you are spending upwards of 5 lakhs for a car.
I was interested in it but after I drove it I found it's engine is rough and the backseat experience was average due to upright seat back... Hence I went for the hyundai nios 2023..which offered better value for money and excellent seating comfort both front and rear seat
Coming from Renault Kwid, I want to upgrade my car, confused between Altroz and Punch. I want punchier engine but not worry about potholes and tall speed breakers.
I prefer the design of the Punch over the Nexon but that's where it ends. It really needs the iTurbo and the DCA to be a strong option, borderline irresistible 😊 HPV is apt but we need something more catchy, can't think of one though so HPV it is.
Punch is an amazing package with quality and comfort and makes it feel premium overall in drive quality. Engine is well performing and provides a smooth and efficient drive.
Please suggest an comfortable, safer car for family of four. Roads here are bad, lots of potholes, even on highway. Is punch not good on highway at 80-100 kph. Is suspension that stiff at those speed that even undulations on road are felt?
First take this ❤ you earned it. Secondly make videos on daily commuter bikes in 100 to 200cc. With your unique insights. What's bs6 phase 2 doing to your bike? What are the future upcoming changes, if one wants to invest in these bikes? What to drive which gives safety and mileage... ❤❤

Somehow i like cars like these. Sensible, compact, higher ground clearance and headroom, decent power and the best value for money with good safety.
Its ok if the punch lacks a kick, that i will get from my bike anyway 😊
😆 sorted !
(telling about the normal man's vehicles)
My father sold his Maruti Wagon R 6 years ago, even now he gets call from them for discussing their newer models & other emi plans.
@@mg1721 hahaa, yeah I too felt the same. I have dropped the plans for a safari & am thinking of other good options in the market.
Hey Aravind and M G, thanks for diving into this and sharing your experiences. Agreed - the Tata legacy of quality and poor after sales is a stumbling block. I think the 3 year 100,000km warranty tries to address these concerns.
It so difficult to nail such radical journalism with such amazing coordinated team work.
Thanks Aniket! ❤️
I have just gotten addicted to this style of narrative and videos. Great guys and happy Holi. 🙂
Thanks DD! To you too!
Yes of course, it's not a sports car and doesn't behave like one but I am happy with it as of now.
dude the video quality is so good that it makes my old computer screen look beautiful.
Haha! Thanks Sneh!
My first option for our first car was to buy a used Ecosport but after Ford left india, I started to look for other options and heard about Punch, took my family for the test drive and they loved it, I wasn't sure at first but after the test drive, I started liking it because of the smooth clutch and driving ergonomics, it wasn't a sporty car but after looking for used cars and good options were around ₹ 5 lakh area, we decided to go with Punch and after 18 months of ownership, I'm happy with Punch more than ever.
bhaisaab, naya channel khol liye aplog! aj hi dekha maine MotorInc ka video... missed you folks!
MotorInc main aapka swagat hai Supratim!
You nailed it HPV, rightly said! I did consider this car for a while as a second car but defiantly needs engine upgrade or even EV version will do great on this car! Info system lags, looks outdated, lot of UI estate is wasted...
Agreed, agreed and agreed!
Hello NPK! Thanks for sharing your garage update with us! Wish you and the family super motoring! Do let us know if you have any queries. 🙏🏾
So you're saying you're as tall as me and this is very comfortable?
Or asking for better options?
@@rutwikst9815 This is comfortable for me. Also, there weren't any options available when I purchased it in 2021 (except for wagonR)
Been a delight to see something of this quality in the Indian automotive youtube scene ❤️
More to come! ❤️
Forget about the car it’s all Mr. Kartikeya Singhee who’s a gem in the automotive journalism industry! I have been watching his videos from auto car india , love your work bro! Keep going!!! I watched this video just because of your thumbnail 😂
🤜🏽🤛🏽 Welcome to MotorInc!
D-CVT looks like a super solution. And thanks for sharing feedback on the Punch! And the DCT would be super.
No hill hold assistance in Punch amt yet..Even in new engine update 2023. MS updated all its amt cars with hill hold assistance. So I cancelled Punch Adventure Rhythm AMT ..looking for an amt car with hill hold assistance

@jayakumarm.d5105 which one did you buy? Iam confused between Baleno automatic and Punch automatic
this production and content is something else. Congratulations, you guys have successfully differentiated yourself from the crowd. Different league.
Glad you liked it! And thanks for letting us know! ❤️
I remember praising powerdrift for production quality. the praises are 10 times higher here
Thank you!
Up until now most Indian automative channels didn't bring anything new to the plate for the viewer. But my gosh this channel. It's got it all.
Thank you for watching! ❤️
That would be perfect. Hopefully it makes its way to the Punch soon!
Waiting for the next ThisConnect. Love the 40 minute layout. Can it be even longer?
It's happening! Unintentionally, they keep on talking.. :-)
Great video.. love to watch and good presentation... plzz add more reviews
Thank you! We will, any vehicle in particular?
I think turbo with rear wheel drive and sunroof will make it next level
Will make it a different car altogether!

HPV is a great idea. But you haven't touched up on how much of a difference the new engine has made on the NVH. That would have been nice.
My brother in law got one of these a couple of months back, so the old engine. Just wanted to know if he missed out on much.
No he hasn’t, the engine is essentially the same with the BS6.2 update. It gets engine start stop additionally.
I have completed 11000 on punch almost 80% on highway.
I think for highway it is best in case you are not in rush.
Stability - mileage is good on Highway.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Is suspension stiff at 80-100 kph for bad roads or undulations.
Thank you so much for taking time out to put out this message! ❤️

I HAVE THIS CAR ,SAME COLOUR ,SAME MODEL AS SHOWN IN VIDEO ,BS 6 PHASE 2 .AMAZING QUALITY ,PERFORMANCE AND LOOK .

Sir you forgot an important point. After sales service. Which is horrendous according to forums and users. It also factors in what tata motors need to improve.
Thanks for bringing that up Mihir. Do you have a similar experience? That would be helpful to know.
Great work guys
Thank you so much 😀
Very therapeutic video. Nice I'm in love with this kind of content... Keep doing more videos will love to watch. Good luck.

Great video …but it would’ve been helpful if you could have mentioned the alternatives that you suggested. Require more videos like these on small cars.
Thank you so much SB. We will be sharing some videos shortly to answer this query and others too. Look forward to hearing from you Ina few days!
Really high quality video. Great production value. How about a video on the best car for a driving enthusiast in India that's available to buy! (Polo and Abarth Punto not on sale) Something that combines practicality and usability with a powerful engine and great handling and ride dynamics
Give us some options? 😆 we’ll figure out the rest.
@@motorinc Sure. I'd say some good options are - i20 N line, Altroz iTurbo, Honda Amaze, Tata Nexon
HPV - Human Papilloma Virus - Why did I immediately think of this.

Wow. It's my first video to watch and it's amazing.. Minimalist yet effective.. Do more videos like this also great work. 👌

Definetly agree that an iTurbo should go under the hood. Enjoyed this :)
Thank you!
What production quality! truly inspirational. Did you guys sit down with UX/UI Guys? :P. Keep Rising!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I like the term HPV. Just look at what all is sold as SUV...
Totally agree - PUNCH EV, like the Nexon EV would be the best iteration. 🤞🏽
HPV is the right defination of most of vehicle these days.
🤜🏽🤛🏽
Your videos are nuce wish you reach 100k soon !!

Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it!
Which is better tyre for tata punch ...steel rim R15 185/70 or alloys R16 195/60
Two factors against this car
1. I felt brakes lack feel and feedback.
2. The Tata factor. I hear horror stories about tata every now and then.
Hmmm...may I add third factor? A family member own a punch and Tata service centre in our region is pathetic. It's frustrating
The background 'music' is just at the right levels, please keep it that way.
🖖🏽🤜🏽🤛🏽
Hi team @motorinc , this video is about the BS 6 phase ii? Because i am hearing a lot of positive comments about phase ii. More power , engine refinment and milage? Can you pls throw some light?

I bought Tata Punch Adventure Rhythm Manual Transmission Feb 12, 2022. The piece delivered to me is having issues of squeaking sounds from the door just before covering 1000 km, went to dealer they changed the beading and again the same sound,
It lags in second gear and not giving me confident in overtaking in Rural roads, again took it to dealer they said that the delay in pick up for 3 to 5 seconds upon pressing the accelerator pedal is normal laughed and did first free service,
Again took the car for some ECM module issue, the car gave me more mileage in City mode(20 km/ltr) and very less in Economy mode (14.7km/ltr), again service center said its software issue, Did Re-aptation kind of stuff and still same problem persists.

Punch is best in value. It is great to drive in city and not at all bad in highways. I am a happy customer
Hi Team, loving the reboot and new videos. One request, can you please do an honest and brutal review of Skoda Slavia? Would really help for a decision.
Noted! Thank you for the ❤️ and the suggestion!
Quality of video is definitely up there, but it lacks a very crucial element, music.! Certain seamless sfx could’ve been added to make the video pop more.
Hey Aditya, thanks for the feedback but we should make it clear -- there's no real plan to add music just because we can or could.
@@motorinc I did watch few more videos on your channel and found sound to be lacking. Even in your monologues/podcast ambient noise is just distracting. Great job in making this a new category of vehicles *HPV*...really liked this one, I'm gonna use this from now on.
Perfecto!
Hi time , we create this category. HPV sounds good.
♥️
Bought a Tata Punch. It REALLY is spacious, much better than Nexxon or any other competion. The safety standard puts you at peace. It is a little less powerful but in the city, you'd never feel, or even in the highway for that matter. You can easily go to 120 kmph. But uphill roads are a no no and really brings out the underpowered side of the Punch.
♥️
nice video. regarding the cons, i would like to add that in a market where SUV or alleged SUV are meant to look beefy and tough, this looks like tata trying to sell a small hatchback as an SUV and it severely lacks in road presence. i mean, you are spending upwards of 5 lakhs for a car.
❤️
Dear MotorInc, i love your content it is sublime so is the Punch , I have planned to buy the AMT variant next month.
Thank you for loving our videos. Here's congratulating you in advance.
I was interested in it but after I drove it I found it's engine is rough and the backseat experience was average due to upright seat back... Hence I went for the hyundai nios 2023..which offered better value for money and excellent seating comfort both front and rear seat
Thanks for sharing your experience! How’s the Nios doing? Did you consider the Xcent?
What are the options? If not Tata punch? Bigger Hatchback/compact sedan? If you could name a few.
Thankyou! :)
Coming from Renault Kwid, I want to upgrade my car, confused between Altroz and Punch. I want punchier engine but not worry about potholes and tall speed breakers.
Punch is the better option because of the additional ground clearance. The Altroz's suspension is good for rough roads too though.
Ah! This really helps.
Expect similar informative on my short listed cars - Venue SC(O) DCT, Venue N-Line N6, Sonet DCT… 🙃
Glad it was helpful! Let's see what we can do!
HPV, the exact word that should be used nationwide!!!
I prefer the design of the Punch over the Nexon but that's where it ends. It really needs the iTurbo and the DCA to be a strong option, borderline irresistible 😊
HPV is apt but we need something more catchy, can't think of one though so HPV it is.

Please suggest an comfortable, safer car for family of four. Roads here are bad, lots of potholes, even on highway. Is punch not good on highway at 80-100 kph. Is suspension that stiff at those speed that even undulations on road are felt?
