I am the proud owner of tata punch I drove this car to my home town Kudal via Mumbai Banglore highway and I am able to secure almost 17 km with 4 people along with full luggage. I am overall satisfied with the performance of this car.❤❤❤

So how is the torque on lower speed in amt? Meaning if there is a slight slope like in the case of over bridge, sloping roads, does AMT rolls back or the creep function is well tuned?

Hi is AMT maintenance is more compare to Mannual and is long run engine life will reduce in AMT than Mannual. Share your suggestions

Please explain about AMT hill assist u missed this point especially in AMT their is a chances of rolling back on this hilly roads
I have been looking for a video that explains AMT driving in both automatic and manual but almost all the videos offer explanations that are either known or unnecessary. People offer their views on how they want to drive but not how a particular car in a segment with a so and so power shall be driven. I believe this car is perfect for people who are relaxed and do not need 150-200 or more horses and basically drive like life is a race for them. There seems to be a 2000 rpm lag on gear shifts but not everything can be perfect at this price range and with the safety too.

Buy the manual, the AMT on tricky roads gets confused at times.
AMT in the city. MT elsewhere. Plus you'll have more fun in MT
AMT useful only in traffic. In hills buy AMT with hill hold assist

Since petrol is on the cards, the Kia / Hyundai engine is more smoother / refined.

Amt's are too jerky in bumper to bumper traffic but fun to drive on highways, also provide good fuel economy

I want to purchase a petrol AMT car in delhi. I want to keep it for almost 15 years. My monthly run is around 350km out of it 80% is on highway.
My budget is around 9 lakhs. I want touchscreen infotainment and reverse parking camera pre installed so that i don't have to do any aftermarket upgradations. I owned santro gls petrol and was very happy with that but it's registration is almost getting over in delhi.
Can you suggest me a good car.
I am not having much knowledge of automobiles. Should I go for ignis, tigor, tiago, punch or any other suggestion that you can give. I am little bit tilted towards punch amt but don't know whether it is a good choice in 9 lakhs on road and if tata cars can serve for 15 long years. This is making me confused.
My parking area can accommodate punch size or lesser than this car size in width.
Please suggest if there is any other option.

Since you’ve had a happy relationship with Hyundai, we would recommend the Grand i10 Nios AMT. Otherwise, from your list, the Punch seems like a good choice. 15 year reliability with the Tata Punch is unknown territory as of now, but Tata has improved a lot in these past couple of years. Would recommend extended warranty for any car that you might buy.
Can we shift between city and eco mode while driving or it has to be done before moving?
U can change to any mode on the go...
@@jacksonp64 u can change on the drive.. But if you have the amt version, it will always be in city mode. Only when u drive in manual mode can u select eco mode

How is AMT hill assist works in hills traffic.. Are the wheels rollback when we start from full stop in climb?
Trust me nobody will answer that question which is the most important aspect... Amt without hill assist is of no. Use. Every reviewer ignores this question on purpose
