Cool seeing you have one of our own on your podcast. Don’t know Beau personally but know some of his family, all of which are good hunters. It’s been quite the learning curve for me and funny looking back at my old mindset of what I thought was a good hunting game plan. But that is what it’s all about, learning ever year.

Great podcast Zach! Needed to hear this after hunting around 25 days in 2 different states and not coming out with a deer. It def felt like a grind at times lol. Lots of good points on confidence, resets, and not moping but instead learning from mistakes. When i played sports we'd always refer to it as "not compounding your mistakes." Keep doin what you're doin man and gl with the knee.

Listen to east meets west a lot. Great podcast. The last bit about a solid reset when things have been rough or the “grind” has caught up to ya helps a lot right now 😅 late season elk been wearing on me i deff am hving a reset today and thats great perspective🙏🏻

Man the different types of patience is real..
When I try still hunting or ground hunting in most capacities I'm so impatient and just move too fast..but I can do sit after sit in a stand no problem.

Everyone does say that their area is the toughest area to hunt, and that makes sense, but there is a reason why nobody ever mentions the word Massachusetts in these videos... ya its hard! Love the podcast, thank you for the great content.

I feel ya Zach! I call it getting stir crazy sitting in a tree. Started spot and stalk speed goats in WY. This past year, I was timing gravel trucks for cover noise!😂

Here in the south in central North Carolina the deer / mature deer are wise to that musical they hear in the woods every year at same time they see orange people and they are wise to the grunt call , bleat can , rattle bag bs … I’m sure the deer in other states are becoming wise to the calling also…

Lol "Active patience"... that's called persistence Zach, not patience. Def won gold at the mental gymnastics for that one though!

If I got a gun in my hand I'm on my feet ! Bow hunting with a gun is not very productive or effective. I love this just after ohio gun ...

keep in mind fellas that learning to accept changes will help when the inevitable old age creeps up on you and creep it will. enjoy what comes your way no matter what comes your way because getting old is more about memories than being aggressive. be well guys. .
