His set at the Holiday Inn on Thursday's during happy hour is good too if you have 5 shots. Good news is their half price...

Hi Shawn, I have been studying this for ages, and its not the notes that are difficult it is the picking. If there was any way you could update this video and talk about that, it would be priceless. I watch MS do it and it is the picking technique that is the hardest. Thanks

Hey Shawn, This is Don from Texas, and I hope that you and your family are doing good during this crises...My brother, Jimma Matejek, who is the greatest guitarist of all time...is dying of liver failure., in Nashville. Please look him up with Montgomery Gentry, and you will know what I mean! Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed response but I forgot to watch Jimma before responding. I have watched some of his videos and I see what you are saying, he is an amazing player. How is he doing?

Hey Shawn. We just back to Texas after visiting Jimma in Nashville, and he is doing a lot better than he was. He is currently on dialysis three times a week, which leaves him very weak, but he still has a good attitude about his future. Thanks for your concern!

@@MrDoneboy Good to hear. Once again sorry for the delay but when I first read this I did not have the time to watch a video and forgot to get back to it. I will put Jimma on my prayer list.

Sad update Shawn...Jimma apparently had a stroke this past weekend, and can't speak, or use his right hand at this time. We really do need the prayers!

Shawn, What is the guitar you are playing? I saw one in a little local shop in Redondo Beach. It was the same color, but with gold hardware. The shop makes their own guitars but, the shop owner took this one in on trade and seemed to have a price that make me take pause. It looked well made and felt awesome. Please tell me more about the one you have and what it is.Thanks, Bill

I borrowed this guitar from a friend who also borrowed it and gave it back so it is no longer around and I do not remember the guitar company. I do remember that it is either a Japanese or South Korean Company. They are high end guitars with titanium bridge and tailpiece. I think this one had other titanium parts as well. When I had it for a couple weeks I did look up the price and these guitars start at around $1,200 and go up from there. They are also have a thin body. If the price of the one in the pawn shop you are talking about is less than that it may be a good buy. Play it and see what you think. Also make sure that the headstock has that same logo/emblem that the one I am playing to be sure it is the same brand. I would like to have one but there are other guitars I would to get first. I have my eye on the Les Paul Axcess with a Floyd Rose built by Gibson. I say that because sometimes people install the Floyd Rose themselves which could ruin the guitar but the one I am looking at is 100% built by Gibson. Also one of my favorite colors, Ice Tea burst, you can see it sweetwater.com.

@Tuscani Thanks for your reply, though it was almost 3 years ago. It would have been another nice addition to my collection but, I have far too many guitars as it is. This type would have been somewhat redundant to what I have. Besides, it's been long gone as I did go back to reconsider. In a way I was relieved it was gone so I didn't buy it. Thanks again anyway. Peace out

Dave Young I have to get that album I think it is called strangers in the night, right? I have to do the solo from the studio album first which is coming soon. I have gotten some request to finish what I started on all my videos so that is first. More solos coming soon. Did ya subscribe yet?

Ya, Strangers in the Night. One of the best live albums ever! You won't regret getting it.
Can't wait till you do the Rock Bottom solo. So many cool little tricks in that solo that will be worth learning.

Will video record the Rock Bottom solo lesson Sept. 9th and it will be out some time after that. I will also do other solos and complete other songs as well.
