I thought the military helps you to get your GED? I assumed they would take me while I work towards it in a program?
I got in with no diploma or ged go talk to a recruiter again abt doing Sophia credits you can finish it in 1 day it’s very easy
Not gonna lie, this pt test does kick your butt! But getting that high score at the end is worth it! Go Army!! Love my job!

So you have option to do the 2 mile run or bike or row machine?
You'll be tested on the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT). This includes the following: 3 Repetition Maximum Deadlift, Standing Power Throw, Hand Release Push-Up - Arm Extension, Sprint-Drag-Carry, Plank, and 2-Mile Run or 2.5-Mile Walk for select Soldiers.

Ok need to practice my planks and see if I can drag 90Ibs 🤔 2 mile run... The army is going to have to teach me how to do that 😅

Why hand-release, instead the regular one?
On the old PT test alot of soldiers would do incorrect push up by doing like a bounce. So this method eliminates any wrong practices of doing a push up. This resets you every push up and takes most bad habits out of the picture

Deadlifts aren't too bad, the cardio seems tough though
It doesn't really show how yo train through
This test is almost impossible to fail just checked minimum score to pass
Way easier than the oldPFT
You need a minimum 60 pts in each event, easier to pass, harder to max than APFT. The run is getting many Soldiers.

You just need to meet the Army's age requirement for enlisting which is 17-35.
