    My son was having diarrhea for almost a year. I took him to different doctors. We did lots of blood tests. He tried lots of supplements. Nothing helped. I tried gluten, diary and sugar free diet. Still not much improvement. He went back his previous diet. We added everything back. He was still having diarrhea. Then I saw lots of undigested food in his stool, and found out they were apple parts. I removed apples from his diet. His diarrhea went away. I am still shocked how apples can cause diarrhea. He also had very severe eczema. His eczema has also got much better after removing apples from his diet.

    Im down to 131lbs at 5"11. This is absolutely ruining my life. I go at least a dozen to multiple dozen times a day. I used to be happy and always weighed around 180. I miss the days of not suffering. I wouldn't wish this pain and anxiety on my worst enemies.

    I have had loose stools or diarrhea for the past 4/5 months. There was no change in my diet. I take Omeprazole (40mg a day) as I have had acid reflux and ulcers for just over 15 years. Last year I ask my Doctor about the Omeprazole intake and she said to continue it, even after a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes 3 years ago. I have tried excluding certain foods from my diet for a week at a time to eliminate problems. I know this is what the Doctor will suggest if I complain, the other thing the Doctor did a few months ago was send me for blood tests, no problems with that apparently! Am fed up as I have gas all day and night and sit on the toilet at least 5 times a day! It doesn't matter what I eat, water will come out from my rear end, foods that are supposed to bulk out stools have no effect! I appreciate Doctors are very busy and look for the most common and obvious causes, but when I've told them my problems they just send me on my way saying it will resolve itself! Elimination of foods as I mentioned is something I did years ago - dairy products was the suggested cause at the time and a vegetarian diet where I was at time time consisted of a fair amount of cheese- bread - I've tried gluten free and if anything that made it worse! - alcohol - beer and especially Stout improved solidity of my stools - I am not sure what to do as my Doctor only seems to look at my medical history on the computer and blames past problems!

    I have had Diarrhea every day for at least the last five years. Whenever I eat beef, or sushi I have literally minutes to get to the toilet, and I don't eat any vegetables or fruits or grains. If I eat eggs sometimes I can get relief, but then I feel sick when I eat eggs or cheese, so I don't really eat them often. I go from five to fifteen times per day. I was taking at least two extra-strength Ibuprofen nearly every night to get some sleep, for the past five years, and finally last week I saw a video that determines that Ibuprofen can cause loose stools... So now I am trying not to take the Ibuprofen. I am also trying to remember to take some digestive enzymes before I eat my meat. I only eat meat now... I thought that perhaps a carnivore lifestyle would eliminate this problem, but no... it never helped over five years of trying... I can hardly go anywhere because I always need to be near a toilet. It's killing me...

      I had the same problem as you but it got worse a little while ago. I was always told I had IBS! Well that doesn’t help me. Then I researched and found that there is a condition called BAM Bile Acid Malabsorption. The solution is taking a product called Questran which mops up the Bike acids and that was all I needed. The main ingredient in Questran is Colestyramine if you don’t know that Brand Name. Saved my social life! It had nothing to do with my diet.

    Been plagued with diarrhea and cramps on and off for 25 years. I don't believe it's acid or bile. Saliva is over 7. Stools are brown and pulverized--no undigested food. Always been that way. On and off over those years have been keto, carnivore, intermittent fasting, and prolonged wet fasting. Mostly in efforts to lose weight, which always worked. Problem is I fail because of temptation and end up in the same cycles over and over. Now recently losing weight again, mostly keto and same with fasting.
    Diarrhea and cramping have been bad over the last year. Charcoal helps to a degree as does drinking French green clay. Used to use Pepto, but now use liquid Imodium and a little goes a long way. So while I never really feel "good," (the Imodium makes you high and nauseous as one would expect from an opioid) at least I can control the cramps. There's always gas and gurgling, which leads me to think it's a bacteria issue. Been taking a NOW probiotic--also love sauerkraut and fermented food, but that goes right through me. Not sure of where to go from here--or maybe it just takes time to build a biome.
    Appreciate your video in explaining the physiology--all I ever heard was do this or do that, but never the reasons. But don't believe my problem is bile or acid.

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  4 месяца назад

      Thanks for sharing this. You problem truly may not be either of those issues. There are other problems that can cause chronic diarrhea. But don't view a dark stool and a high saliva ph as confirmation of proper bile flow or adequate HCL. If you do have a bacterial issues, that almost always started due to low stomach acid. But chronic diarrhea can be tricky. If you get stuck, this page lists a variety of ways to get help or find your own answers: kickitnaturally.com/get-help/

    Do you know anything about S. Boulardi? I had this constant watery diarrhea a year or so ago and found this probiotic's name in a lecture. It did stop the D, but it stopped me from going at all! Stopping it and then taking every other day calmed me down until finally I didn't need it anymore.
    I was having SO much indigestion, gerd, etc recently and saw betain hcl might be my problem. I took some, it helped so I was taking it and Procreatin at b'fast and dinner. I have had loose stools throughout the ordeal. After a week on the Procreatin and hci I got this horrible, uncontrollable diarrhea that sounds like BAD. Have you ever heard of these digestive aids causing this?
    I'm trying the S. Boulardi again, but I've only taken one.
    I am at my wits' end. I had the upper & lower GI's a couple of times-- nothing found except very red intestines indicating inflammation.

    I can only catch some of your video at a time between runs to the toilet ! Anyway, I've been living with diarrhea for a whole week now. I don't have a fever, I can eat normally, I have enough mid-section pain on and off during the day to tend me to believe it's something I ate. I can't pinpoint it to any particular food but I'm believing the malady comes from the supplements I take. I'm up in years and take supplements for heart health, lots of kinds. What I think is happening is where these supplements come from is the culprit. Dirty countries grow the substances which go into supplements and in America, where these poison pills are sold, is not listed on the bottle as to what country supplied them. So beware. Do I have to spell it out for ya where they come from?

      @@evarkf Well, my most recent bout has passed but let me say this about a former bout which I thought would kill me. Around 15 years ago before I started taking supplements for every human condition, I had killer diarrhea whereas I couldn't be 10 feet from a toilet for a few weeks. Nothing worked to stop it nor stop the gut pain. I lost 11 pounds. I was retired at the time so being near a toilet was a blessing. Antibiotics didn't work at all and the BRAT diet didn't work. But an OTC gut flush did. I'm sorry I can't recall the name of the product but the box it came in had all sorts of things in it to take at various times of the day for a week running. I remember one thing I took was some kind of corn (?) powder and it had to be mixed and drank with water. Some kind of pills to take also, nothing prescription, at various times of the day.
      Again I say I can't recall the name of this OTC remedy but it worked whereas doctors didn't. I was cured by OTC meds which simply flush out the gut.
      Let me also say outside factors such as the city working on drinking water pipes can be the culprit and also "dead end" piping whereas in a hospital I once worked, has for decades its water distribution changed around as new rooms where added to a very old building, such harbors bad bacteria. Why antibiotics didn't work for me in that 15 years ago bout, I don't know, unless it was a bacteria the anti-B had no effect on. I hope you fell better.

    Is it possible to have chronic diarrhea from a stroke or blood clot to brain? My husband, elderly & generally healthy, about 1 year ago, had an event, that, at least, damaged his ability to find words. At about the same time his bladder would not release urine & he has, for this past year & maybe for rest of his life, has a catheter. Our doctor & a naturopath have not been able to find underlying cause. No infection or disease, no symptoms (!!), yet this debilitating diarrhea. He also does not show symptoms of IBS or leaky gut, etc. He has never had constipation, has always been careful about his diet (right now he is emaciated). I am wondering if the stroke affected his brain’s capacity to communicate with bladder & bowel function?
