For some of us, diarrhea on a carnivore diet is highly disruptive, because one has to RUN to the bathroom, wherever you are, suddenly and unpredictably. How anyone can get past that to get the benefits is hard to imagine.

Long before I knew anything about keto or carnivore. When I started on keto, now carnivore, I expected to have issues because my gall bladder was removed years ago. But other than a couple of days of loose stool at the beginning, that was about it. Actually it's sometimes a little of the opposite. Luckily I have MCT on hand and use it very sparingly but seems to keep me on track. Only once I took too much. Holy cow talk about the Mexican dance! lol Don't do that!!
I upped my fiber intake with oat FIBER bread. Solved my problem. I am not on a carnivore diet, but fat seems to be my enemy as I have BAM. Now with the fiber I can also stop my colestyramine medication. Robert Cywes talks a lot hi so stuff, but actually has no solution.
Some of my stools float, some sink. The floaters normally also sink after a while. I take a bile and liver supplement, but I get the idea my bile is either too thick or insufficient. There is a problem in South Africa to get good essential bile salts. Crazy!
my stool is normal it does not smell normal but it is almost black in color, may it be because I only eat red meat and many organs? Could it be the excess iron found in red meat and especially organs?
Black stool could be because there is internal bleeding in your intestine or further up the digestive system. It can also be caused by some supplements, vitamin D in particular. If you are on vit D, stop taking them for a couple of days, then you'll know if that's the culprit.
