Hello Sir, As I have commented on some of your other videos, I am new to DE shaving. Your attention to detail in your videos, your positive manner and knowledge is fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing. My wife and I are both in law enforcement, and after a bad day at work; watching your videos lifts my spirits. People like you make the world a better place. Thank you for your time Sir.
Just started shaving with a safety razor this week thanks to your videos. Merkur long handle, Proraso green tube, and an Escali badger hair brush. My wife likes to paint ceramics so I have a number of custom mugs made just for me. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into these videos. Now a chore that I would dread is a hobby that I really enjoy. Much appreciated!
Thank you for doing these videos Nick. I have been wet shaving for about three years and have learned a lot from you videos. My shaves are infinitely more comfortable.
Nick Bravo! It's fantastic, I thought that my blade 200, 10 and 15 machines creams and soaps - a lot. But now I realize that there is something to strive for!
My wife thinks I'm obsessed with shaving paraphernalia. I'm planning to show her this video to put it in perspective for her. Enjoy your videos Nick, keep it up, thank you.
That's an awesome Shave Den. I'm jealous of your collection of safety razors and soaps. I would love to have a collection like that to choose from in the morning.
I'm a fan! Just started shaving with a safety razor. Literally up to my second shave. Just purchased a Long Handled Mariner Razor from the New York Shaving Company and bunch of other products and am really enjoying the experience. Keep up the great work.
I'm dying for you to get some cool type of organization for all of your stuff. It could look so cool if you had some shelves / racks for specific products that you don't use on a daily basis
That's a very nice collection of stuff that you have. Thanks for taking the time to put these videos together. I really appreciate the care that you put into them. They're fun to watch, and I've learned a lot from your product reviews and shaving tips.
Your videos are a great help, I'm just starting out with using DE type safety razors, after years of thinking about it, I was blind to the savings made by switching from those £15 - $25 cartridge type with their countless blades and high prices. I've finally seen the light and the pleasure from using a safety razor, as well as the money saved once set up, a shaver for life...Keep up the great work.
Hi Nick I just subscribed to your channel, and I'm just start with the wet shaving like two weeks ago and I want to thank you because your videos helped me a lot to get started with the wet shaving..!!! I purchased the two omega boar brushes that you recomended for bigginers the Omega 10066 and 10049 and also a Merkur 34C HD and EJ DE89..!!! And you are absolutely right they are great tools to get started..!!! Thanks again and keep the great work I love your collection you have a lot of great stuffs in your shaving room..!!! Thanks for taking the time to share your videos with us greatings from California..!!!
Very Cool Nick! Just wanted to comment and let you know how much I appreciate your video reviews and tips. They're really informative and help guys like me by doing all the groundwork. You've saved me countless hours, days, (months probably) of trial and error. Thanks again!
Nice collection! I always smile when someone seriously claims wet shaving will save you money lol. Seeing as you're considering requests, I'd love to see you review the Cade soap. It's always nice to see how the locally available stuff stacks up.
Great video nice tour of the den. Liked the "contained at least" I have to keep that in mind next time I catch grief for my drawer of somewhat disorganized supplies. Can't wait for the Tiki reviews.
I'm brand new to the wet shaving game and have been looking for info on it...came across your vids and glad i did. Great job on the vids u post, dude. Very helpful and informative and feel reassured when it comes from someone who's passionate/serious about their shaving method. Looking to ur vids for best buys for a 1st time everything (razor, soap, brush, etc.). Thanks again!
Hey Nick! Just recently started following your channel and love all the reviews you've put up, especially your beginner series! I just purchased a few items to try shaving with a safety razor for the first time and am very excited for everything to come in! Thanks for the outstanding quality and passion that you put in to your videos!
They've been great! I tried a few products from Edwin Jagger (wasn't too pleased with the soap for a first time shaving) but leaned on your recommendations for Mikes Natural and Synergy to try different other soaps. Looking forward to your future reviews and recommendations
Just made the switch from the fusion garbage to the Merkur 34C last week and a world of difference! Your videos help out a ton both with helping on the many, many decisions on what to buy but also on the techniques needed for a proper shave. Thanks. I bought the Omega 10049 but it is a really large brush, how does it compare to the Omega 11047?
Looking forward to your review of the Tiki soaps and thanks for showing of the shave den. I just realized how little I have in the way of shaving supplies! 1 Merkur 34C...jeez I need to get me a few more...
Thanks. I appreciate your videos even more than the ones by the experts. I have learned so much from you. Keep it up man. Since I began shaving with a DE safety razor in June, my shaving experience is awesome. I rarely get ingrown hairs anymore. I'm using a merkur 34c thanks to u and Busta and I love it.
Hi Nick, great shave den!!! I think it's really nice to have a second bathroom just for shaving purpose..!!! You are lucky!!! I really enjoy your videos you are a true gentleman..!!! Keep the wonderful job..!!! Best wishes!!
Super excited to see your reviews of Martin de Candre. Might be worth sending an email to MdC after it's up and ask to be highlighted on their website as they've done with some other videos - unfortunately all in French! Would be handy to have an English one up there.
I have very similar products but I watch that video every time I feel bad about my little den which I'll be reviewing soon. Seems like you love Razorock as much as I do, it's my favourite soap so far, I wish the xxx was available here in Australia though. Great videos, keep up the good work - Mark
Nick, you turned me onto D.R.Harris and I would like to thank you for it. I'm using the Arlington pre shave, soap and Aftershave milk and it makes me sooooo proud of being a Londoner. So thank you for that. As such I'd like to say: you need to drop the Nivea aftershave bro. SERIOUSLY, give the D.R.Harris aftershave milk a go, there's no comparison between the two, I used to use the Nivea and I am never looking back!
Hey Nick love your videos. I've been wet shaving for about a year now and have a pretty good technique down. I currently use the Merkur 23C. Can you recommend good butterfly safety razor for me? There seems to be so many out there, I just can decide.
Nick - love the videos! And I know it's a little late but welcome to Massachusetts! I'm curious if you've found any good shops in the area. I got my initial setup from Stoddards but I've heard they closed up shop (after 200+ years in business). Keep up the good work man.
Hey Nick, first time posting here. Just want to say that I love the channel, and that I really appreciate all the info you provide. I also like your friendly, professional style in the videos. The world really doesn't need any more ironic Family Guy humor in youtube videos, so keep on shaving with class!
I thought I was doing pretty well, but realise I'm a total amateur compared with you Nick! You have a great collection - and by the sound of it a great wife too.
hey nick great videos if you had to recommend one safety razor and brand of razor to load it with what would be like your general go to combination. i noticed you used the merkur 34c a lot thanks
Hi Nick, that's one impressive collection you've got there! There must be enough shaving gear in your shave den to last a lifetime! If you can find the time at some point, could you squeeze in a shave review of the Mühle Sea Buckthorn shaving soap? I'd love to hear your opinion about that. May I also say that you are doing a fantastic job with this channel. Your videos are always very informative and entertaining to watch. Well done!
Great video Nick, really enjoyed that, eventho Im quite envious. But id love to see the Fine comparison, been on the fence on which one to get for a while
Wow, you have lots of stuff there. I thought i was getting bad with three razors. Is that a Merkur 34C in the stand by the sink? Thats my go to razor. Really enjoy your videos!
I wish to see your take on the Pre de Provence. Moreover, I wish to see if the GFT- sandalwood and the T&H 1805 are working now that you are in Boston.
Hey Nick, Great video... kind of a behind the scenes look at the 'operation' you've got going:) I wouldn't mind seeing you review that Marten De Candre being that it's probably a bit too rich for my wallet but I'd like to hear your thoughts on it anyway. Also, the Tiki is another one that I'd like to see as well. Thanks! Joe
Great! I've got a ways to go but I'm trying to improve them little by little:) I'm planning a couple custom shave brush videos soon but just gotta get a few 'honey do's' done first:) Looking forward to your next vid Nick! Joe
That shave secret makes an awesome after shave following some witch hazel. you won't need any balms. Works better as an after shave than it does a pre shave or shave oil.
Hey i seen one of your video about razer burn witch i like. I knew most about what u talked about. Except the part about the different type of shaving cream. Witch helped out ah lot. But one q. What would be the best thing to use for lathering ?. Please n thank you. ;-)
Personna Blue, Derby Extra, Feather…is it a coincidence that both the arguably least sharp and arguably sharpest DE blade available are among your three favorites? My last shave was with a Personna Blue, by the way. I shaved with a Personna Blue today, in a Merkur 15 C. I like Feather blades, I think they are the only thing that really works in the Feather Popular. I have a love-hate relationship with the Popular. To me, it's a piece of junk with most widely available blades, but it works well enough for me with a Feather.
Really like to see a MdC review, especially because price factors in so much for your soap reviews. It used to be my daily driver and I had great results. After trying stirling and mikes I've since sold all three of my MdC jars. Just too many great value artisan soaps to spend $70 on MdC.
Thanks Nick. That was terrific! Shaving setups are unique and personal. So thanks for letting us see yours. After seeing your setup I have two questions: 1) Brushes: You're obviously a fan of boar brushes (they are fantastic!), but you don't have a synthetic. I know you tried an Omega synthetic, have you tried some if the newer V2 fibres? What about horse hair brushes? I'm interested to know your thoughts. 2) HTGAM 2.0 soap/croap: Once again, can I say you're a fan of Mr Willa Wonka of the Shaving World Douglas Smythe? His creations are wonderful. But I notice (and I could of missed it) you didn't have any of his latest version (2.0). I think only 2 limited releases so far but just wondering if you have some that you were going to try out soon? Thanks. Great videos. Informative and helpful. Keep it up!
Love your reviews lots of great info Great shave den!! My wife and I have 5 boys between us and 2 bathrooms! It may be awhile for my shave den but I am blessed none the less Look forward to more videos Thanks
I've just started using a safety razor. Used my dad's after he died I was 17, sliced my face like a ham. I love it now though can't wait to shave each time. Good vid. why so many brushes???
Nick, you have got a great den! Keep up the great work that you do with your in depth reviews. They are so good that even my brother from overseas watches them :)) Not to mention, I would like to see how Tiki Bar and Martin De Candre stock up against one another. I think you will truly appreciate the post shave, the slickness the protection/ cushion and the scent of Tiki Bar soaps.
Hi Nick, I love your channel!! Where do you get samples of some of the soaps? Also, do you get most of your supplies on line or are there actual shops for shaving? I'm making our second bathroom into a shaving den too cuz of you. Thanks for being awesome!
Hi Nick - Been watching your reviews for a week now and bought myself a DE Giesen & Forsthoff "Timor". For a clone it has gotten immensely positive feedback from the folks on the B&B forums and being a student it is within my budget. I also have an Omega Hi-Brush synthetic (similar to the one you have reviewed but with a wooden handle) as I can't afford a silvertip and I like the ease of use inter alia, of the synthethic bristles. Finally, I got some Col. Conk's Amber glycerine soap, however, I have second thoughts about getting the Omega shaving cream in that black tub (as these are the only two soaps my shoppe sells) - if you can remember offhand, which would you say is a better product? Feedback greatly appreciated! From your friend in South Africa :)
Really enjoy all of your videos, Nick..great job! Did you give up on the straight razor? I just hit my 100th straight shave, I love it! Quite the challenge for sure..
NICK!!! You had me at the Pinaud VIBR! Love that stuff. Could you expedite the Fine aftershave comparison of the Vetivers? Been wanting to place an order but do I go fresh? Do I go clean? So fresh and so clean, clean, so fresh and so clean! Just thought I would drop a little Outkast on ya there. Take care Amigo.
Not going to hound you for a review, but have you had a chance to try the Cade yet? I bought a puck a week ago, and I've used it every day since. It's awesome stuff, quickly working it's way to the top of my list. Great post shave, really nice scent, but it's kinda finicky. Very thirsty, but too much water right off the bat kills the lather. Incredible soap though, and locally available, which is always nice.
I haven't reviewed it yet! The review is coming soon. Really re-dedicating myself to making these soap reviews more consistently. Excited to give it a try! Glad that you have had such a good experience with it

nick shaves
They really are, I wish I would have waited to buy my stuff until I had seen your beginner brush video.
Looks like you're set for the shavepocalypse with all your shave gear.
Haha! Yeah, too much shave hear
Mate... that's truly a shave den... a whole medicin cabinet for shaving tools... wow... Hats off to you.
Damn Nick! I remember when you were just starting out. This is out of hand!!!
I've always been curious as to what your den looks like, figured you would have some sort of cabinet full of soaps! Thanks for sharing!
Strangely enough loved the tour! Interesting to see all the stuff you have and have collected. Thank you
My wife thinks I'm obsessed with shaving paraphernalia. I'm planning to show her this video to put it in perspective for her. Enjoy your videos Nick, keep it up, thank you.
That's an awesome Shave Den. I'm jealous of your collection of safety razors and soaps. I would love to have a collection like that to choose from in the morning.
Hi Dr, Nick, hope you and the family are doing great. When are you coming back?
Hey nice shaving setup. I just started using a DE razor. Got a Merkur 23c and TOBS Jermyn Street cream. Thanks for the helpful videos.
Great video. I'm impressed with how much soap you have. I wet shave daily and it would take me years to go through the soap in your collection.
That's a very nice collection of stuff that you have. Thanks for taking the time to put these videos together. I really appreciate the care that you put into them. They're fun to watch, and I've learned a lot from your product reviews and shaving tips.

Thanks for sharing your den, Nick. Super to see I'm not going crazy with my soap purchasing! Always enjoy watching your vids. Keep it up.
Nice collection! I always smile when someone seriously claims wet shaving will save you money lol.
Seeing as you're considering requests, I'd love to see you review the Cade soap. It's always nice to see how the locally available stuff stacks up.
Love watching your videos, Ive learned a lot about different soaps and such... Thanks for all the info you put on here....
That Fine aftershave is the best. It's based out of Fairport, NY near Rochester. Love that the company is local.
Great video nice tour of the den. Liked the "contained at least" I have to keep that in mind next time I catch grief for my drawer of somewhat disorganized supplies. Can't wait for the Tiki reviews.

Just stick with the 34c! Its my absolute favorite - you don't need any others
Thanks. I appreciate your videos even more than the ones by the experts. I have learned so much from you. Keep it up man. Hi Nick, great shave den!!! I think it's really nice to have a second bathroom just for shaving purpose..!!! You are lucky!!! I really enjoy your videos you are a true gentleman..!!! Keep the wonderful job..!!! Best wishes!!
Thanks man! I am very lucky to have a second bathroom for shaving. This will not always be the case, but for now I'm very lucky!
Super excited to see your reviews of Martin de Candre. Might be worth sending an email to MdC after it's up and ask to be highlighted on their website as they've done with some other videos - unfortunately all in French! Would be handy to have an English one up there.
That would be amazing! I will see what I can do - thanks for the tip
mühle sea buckthorn and stirling ozark mountain are great shaving soaps!
I have very similar products but I watch that video every time I feel bad about my little den which I'll be reviewing soon. Seems like you love Razorock as much as I do, it's my favourite soap so far, I wish the xxx was available here in Australia though. Great videos, keep up the good work - Mark

Cool shaving den. I have a 1958 Gillette Fatboy and have used it once. I might try out wet shaving.
Hey Nick love your videos. I've been wet shaving for about a year now and have a pretty good technique down. I currently use the Merkur 23C. Can you recommend good butterfly safety razor for me? There seems to be so many out there, I just can decide.
Nice! I wish I had my own bathroom for all my shaving stuff. Great video Nick!
I am very, very lucky
Hey Nick out of all the razors you have which one would you recommend the most same with shaving soaps and brushes
Finally! Thank you for considering our requests and showing us your awesome gear! You rock Nick!
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback
Thanks for the tour! Get the Martin de Candre in the on deck circle. I'm looking forward to that review.
Soon!
Thanks man! I really appreciate the support and I'm glad you like the videos
I thought I was doing pretty well, but realise I'm a total amateur compared with you Nick! You have a great collection - and by the sound of it a great wife too.
Nick it was great to see all of your gear. Thanks!
Thanks for this video! I like your subtle reviews of the sink and the bathroom and stuff haha
hey nick great videos if you had to recommend one safety razor and brand of razor to load it with what would be like your general go to combination. i noticed you used the merkur 34c a lot thanks
But id love to see the Fine comparison, been on the fence on which one to get for a while
Very soon! They are both amazing scents - you can't go wrong with either
Nice den Nick!
I am currently downsizing, selling all my "extra" razors and brushes... Will keep only a couple of each.
Thanks for sharing. Your channel is great inspiration for lots of us. I hope u r well. Your second bathroom is really nice. Enjoy it :)
good stuff coming up. I'd like to know about the Martin De Candre of course, the Pre de Province and that Omega with the clear faceted handle.
Really looking forward to all of the reviews
I really enjoyed the tour ,Nick !!
Need to see the difference between the Clean vs Fresh vetiver... need to buy one or the other.
Wow, you have lots of stuff there. I thought i was getting bad with three razors. Is that a Merkur 34C in the stand by the sink? Thats my go to razor. Really enjoy your videos!
I'd like to see a video with Mrs. Nick and her thoughts on your shaving habit taking over her spare bathroom.
Hi Nick, nice videos, thanks. Need aid. Mühle - witch one is better - open or closed? Have medium hard hair.
I wish to see your take on the Pre de Provence.
Moreover, I wish to see if the GFT- sandalwood and the T&H 1805 are working now that you are in Boston.
awesome stuff! this made me more confident in any recommendations you recommend!
very nice set of razors
After seeing this I feel so much better about my collection. It isn't nearly as huge as this.
Yeah, its pretty bad...
Hey Nick,
Great video... kind of a behind the scenes look at the 'operation' you've got going:) I wouldn't mind seeing you review that Marten De Candre being that it's probably a bit too rich for my wallet but I'd like to hear your thoughts on it anyway. Also, the Tiki is another one that I'd like to see as well. Thanks!
Joe
Thanks! I watched a few of your videos and enjoy them very much
Great! I've got a ways to go but I'm trying to improve them little by little:) I'm planning a couple custom shave brush videos soon but just gotta get a few 'honey do's' done first:) Looking forward to your next vid Nick!
Joe
i'm new to safety razors. you have a great channel. lots of good info...👍
That shave secret makes an awesome after shave following some witch hazel. you won't need any balms. Works better as an after shave than it does a pre shave or shave oil.
Glad to see the Cade is coming soon. I've been curious about that product. Thanks for the videos!
Really looking forward to it, lots of people love it

Love your reviews lots of great info
Great shave den!! My wife and I have 5 boys between us and 2 bathrooms! It may be awhile for my shave den but I am blessed none the less
Look forward to more videos
Thanks
I've just started using a safety razor. Used my dad's after he died I was 17, sliced my face like a ham. I love it now though can't wait to shave each time. Good vid. why so many brushes???
Nick, you have got a great den! Keep up the great work that you do with your in depth reviews. Nick, I would love to see your review on L'Occitane. Could you put that on top of your list??
Hey Nick, you need a Kent brush in your collection!
Have you tried the LA shave soap yet?
Hi Nick another good one. You could open up your own store.lol I`m looking forward to the Palmolive shave stick review too.
I also support you, Brian. I have long been in the comments ask Nick to do this review. I hope he will hear us.
***** Yes Greek. I think if we stay on him he will eventually give in. Have a good week.
+1 for a shave secret review. Are you using it solo or with soap?
dude you should just start your own shaving shop
Nick, I saw HTGAM Al Fin aftershave on your counter. How does that smell?
Hi Nick, I love your channel!! Where do you get samples of some of the soaps? Also, do you get most of your supplies on line or are there actual shops for shaving? I'm making our second bathroom into a shaving den too cuz of you. Thanks for being awesome!
Love the razor collection. I have 6 and i thought I was nuts. But you're a good crazy.
cool setup Nick
From your friend in South Africa :)
i was wondering if you have ever used the parker a1r travel razor, and your thoughts compared to your other razors thank you for the videos.
Your camera Looks like a Canon Powershot Digital Elph.

Hey nick, how about a review of the real shave co.shaving cream?
Really enjoy all of your videos, Nick..great job! Did you give up on the straight razor? I just hit my 100th straight shave, I love it! Quite the challenge for sure..
Whats with the Bay Rum? How would you describe it's scent? Seems like you have a lot from different makers. As you can tell I'm brand new to this.
Very soon! Love the Outkast reference
Nick, do you still ever use your MicroTouch One?
Can you do a blade comparison...a top 5 blades video?
Not going to hound you for a review, but have you had a chance to try the Cade yet? I bought a puck a week ago, and I've used it every day since. It's awesome stuff, quickly working it's way to the top of my list. Great post shave, really nice scent, but it's kinda finicky. Very thirsty, but too much water right off the bat kills the lather. Incredible soap though, and locally available, which is always nice.
I haven't reviewed it yet! The review is coming soon. Really re-dedicating myself to making these soap reviews more consistently. Excited to give it a try! Glad that you have had such a good experience with it
Can't wait for the Tiki review. Im going to order a sampler from her to figure out which scent I like the best.
The scents are amazing! Looking forward to reviewing them
I have a Schick Krona too, it's nice.
Nick- Where can i find the howtogrowamoustache Longfellow?
