1911 Full Length Guide Rod Field Strip & Reassembly

This is a demonstration on how I disassemble and reassemble a 1911 that uses a full length guide rod instead of a GI style guide rod. This is the way I’ve found works best for me.

Note putting spring in backwards causes the slide to not work love your video an just subscribed

Nice - no 'pin' or special tool needed. This will be useful on the EMP 1911 3" in 40cal.
