- I'M BACK IN BAGUIO AFTER 7 YEARS!
And the Philippines mountains up here in the Cordilleras really amazed me. What a beautiful, beautiful place!
We actually stayed in La Trinidad, beside Baguio City, near the strawberry farm - and what a great location this turned out to be.
And it's COLD!

I continue to be impressed by the effort and skill you put into your videos on all levels: filming, editing, and story telling.
Agreed
Back in Baguio after 7 years .... Super like ... While most Filipinos show the beauty of other countries to the world, here you are showing the beauty of the Philippines to the world. That makes you more admirable. You boost Philippine tourism at its finest and you deserve respect and recognition. Good you made a comeback after 7 years. Me, no idea when after almost 18 years. Enjoy your adventures to the mesmerizing Cordilleras and if in case you miss the beach life of which you are already accustomed in the Visayas, just go down to La Union and to the Ilocos, just few hours ride from the mountains .... Bye for now, time to doze off that I may dream of being back in my birth paradise ... Until then ....
For me, Baguio, the City of Pines, will always be a place of solitude, leisure, and recreation. Things may have changed, like in many places, as change is constant, yet this city will continue to give you wonderful experiences if you plan your trips well and visit the right places. I miss this great city!
Made me smile when I hear Sarangani ,proud Sarangani manskin pobre among province but still proud of it
Welcome to Baguio City kumander Daot and company enjoy the cold weather as well
How wonderful is that Kumander left Visayas continous to Luzon and to Mountain Province. It's exciting to see Bagiou again.
Thats not mt. Province. Itd benguet province. Mt. Province is another province.

Thanks for coming back❤Kennon road is also my favorite route!
Cool filming! Thanks for the adventures you share!❤😊
Thanks for visiting Baguio city. If you got time, try to visit Sagada and Banaue.
wow! you filmed the best places and sceneries along the way, from your drone we can see the birds eyeview of everthing..nice travelling wth kumander daot😂
Beautiful La Trinidad, Benguet.. well, baguio is still cold w/out that much pine trees😊🤷🏽♂️price to pay for modernization . hope you travel and feature Calanasan, Apayao too kumander😊
even on camera you can tell the temp is really cold. Baguio is is one of vintage places to go. Thnks Kumander D, safe ride God bless.
Oh you're here, welcome back kumander,so many vloggers are here right now.
People of cordillera are friendly and hospitable ❤️
Im missing Baguio so much 😢 unbelievable the mountains are full of houses already. Super crowded now.
Thank you Sir K.D.for visting Baguio again.Keep safe Both of you.
You could say the gorge is not just amazing -- it's gorgeous! 6:09 The homes built on the sides of the gorge are so impressive. I like how colorfully they are painted. Baguio seems fascinating, but it looks very crowded.
I laughed so hard when I saw you put on the strawberry🍓hat because I thought you were getting it for Lily. Looks a little small for you. I guess when it fits tight it keeps your head warmer.
It will be for Lily... Or that's my reasoning now... Hahaha
Nice to see my hometown featured here, miss ko na Baguio adi. 😁
Wow this place where I belong idol thank you for visiting again my place
The jolliest vlogger I've watched.Always exciting to watch.Keep doing your thing and stay safe always.
Baguio is so freaking crowded now. I love Baguio during the 60's to 80's. It use to be called the summer capital of the Philippines. I believe the mountains of Mindanao are much better now.
LGU'S are greedy. They cut down trees to make place for buildings and houses. Which actually puts down the value of the city. Mindanaons are more intelligent. They let more trees in the city like Tagum. Replanting or displacing. Plus the city no landscape plans. No uniformity, looks like built by anarchists ☹️
Mountain Province and Benguet are much better, Baguio is really crowded because of the peopke coming from the lowlands
Baguio is Baguio no matter what.
@@Ignayal indeed. But the fact is, Baguio has lost it's pristige.
even back in 90s when I was young, baguio was so much more different. Many wild flowers along the round and the scent of air is different.
Welcome to Baguio City KD!!!
It is about time to try farming strawberry on your new land Kumander,
Ayan na! Ayan na! 😎
Hala! First Ka First!
Tibay mo Boy P!!!!!!!
I was about to ask if you buy the strawberry hat and glad to see you wear it on the end of the vid. It will be very cute for Lily 🍓
Have a safe ride kumander
I loved Baguio! So beautiful and everyone was so friendly and helpful.
After living up in Baguiofor so long, I can't imagine of living elsewhere. It's all about the cool temperature up here.
KD is a famous celebrity now, many recognized him elsewhere in the country. Amping KD and Boy P.👍💪
K Daot, Thank you for touring me to Baguio. So exciting lovely city up in the clouds.
Oh wow! I haven't been to Baguio since the 90s. Last memory I had was horseback riding with my family. And eating corn at Burnham park. Those fresh strawberries look so good! Baguio has the best strawberry jam. So good with freshly made pandesal. 🍓🐎⛰️🇵🇭
hays, I'm missing my home town Baguio! hope to see you soon Baguio!

Baguio is my spiritual place (if there's such a thing) it's always been where I feel the most at peace, if I could I would like to spend my last year's there. But for now it's all about the grind 👊
A very different Baguio/LT video than most others on YT. Thanks!
welcome to my hometown. thank you for your vlog that we could see our place. God Bless
Beautiful Baguio, last time I saw that city was 1979-80 , they painted it right, used to be plain black ,I wonder who painted it , good choice of colour.perfectly done 🦁Amping kumander Daot.
Thanks for helping our economy
The dangerous air quality over many parts of places like Thailand will say that burning is NOT good at all. "As cold as a British Summer" The perfect temperature.
Fantastic! Great to see you explore this area!
Nice quality content i love the story telling
Nice shot kumander ..very clear.. what drone did you used? Nindot kaayo.. amping permi..

Masarap na ang mga strawberry doon Kumander! Mabibighani ang paligid sa daan malapit na Baguio! Tama na nga ang mga tribu Australyano nasunog na ng yuta rin!
Welcome to my hometown once again Da-ot, watching from Canada.
There are FOUR (4) main roads to go up/down Baguio. On the way back down try the Asin-Nangalisan road and practice your motoring skills. It's more sharpy curvy than Kennon.
Welcome 🙏🏼 Kumander D to our hometown!!
Welcome to baguio Kumander
My first time up there was in 1987..First time in P.I that I didn't need a fan or AC! Population levels were much less back then but it's still a place I hope to return to!

Great vid! I love Baguio, although it is too crowded now. Those mountains and hills with houses occupying every inch does not look beautiful to me. I want the old look of Baguio, when those mountains and hills were all green with pine trees. The city should have regulated migration decades ago. I know everyone wants to live there because its a beautiful place, but, realistically, the city was only designed for much less people. When I was younger and would visit Baguio with my family, you could smell the pine trees even before entering the city limits. The city was so green back then that it felt so relaxing and serene. It was truly a place to take a vacation and to have a breather. Now, that the population is so big, and there are houses even in the mountains and hills, its as if you are still in Metro Manila when you visit. You also no longer smell the pine trees when you are in the city because there's almost none left within the city. You have to go to the outskirts to see and smell the pine trees.
What the authorities should have done decades ago was to make a development plan. In anticipation of migration from the lowlands, other places in the Cordilleras near Baguio should have been developed for residential areas and efficient public transportation to and from Baguio should have been established. This would have scattered the current population and prevented Baguio City from being too congested. The authorities should have been strict in enforcing the existing safety regulations in building houses in the mountains and hills. Yes, it is allowed to build in those places but the number of houses there are supposed to be limited, and thats for safety reasons. Now the mountains and hills look like slum areas, sort of like the flavelas in Brazil. Not beautiful at all.
It is too late to correct the mistakes made. It is hard to remove those people living by the mountain sides and hills. I hope there wouldn't be a strong earthquake like what happened in 1990, because if that happens, many of those houses will definitely be destroyed and lives will be lost.
Very cool.. My girl and all her kids and family live just below Baguio near the ocean in La Union. Great resort and restaurant area ...and Surfing.
I'll be in La Union soon...
@@KumanderDaot Nice .. Try a restaurant at one of the beach places along San Juan coastal highway.
Wow well done kumander! I saw u pass my place urdaneta pangasinan!
Hahaha the La Trinidad Strawberry Farm hahaha
Lagot na hahaha
Mate, an epic content. I’m continue to impress with your knowledge of the language, your cheerful interaction with the locals, immersing the the culture. I was shocked with the overpopulated/crowded place now. My first encountered during school excursion ( high school). Returned visit on late 80s for holiday/, goodness me, so different.. On the positive - thanks showcase of agribusiness/ - always Baguio as a salad bowl of Manila eg the produce.
Keep on exploring places mate and cheers ..

Thank you KD for featuring La Trinidad and am sure, you will be passing by or visiting other towns of Benguet Province. Start speaking Ilocano or Kankana-ey… strawberries are “naimas”. You can also use the word “naimas” by appreciating tasty or delicious food. Lovely to see you and bravo👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻your drone shots are amazing.
