Back in Baguio after 7 years .... Super like ... While most Filipinos show the beauty of other countries to the world, here you are showing the beauty of the Philippines to the world. That makes you more admirable. You boost Philippine tourism at its finest and you deserve respect and recognition. Good you made a comeback after 7 years. Me, no idea when after almost 18 years. Enjoy your adventures to the mesmerizing Cordilleras and if in case you miss the beach life of which you are already accustomed in the Visayas, just go down to La Union and to the Ilocos, just few hours ride from the mountains .... Bye for now, time to doze off that I may dream of being back in my birth paradise ... Until then ....
Luv this vlog! I got to see my place again in bloom. Thank you Kumander D. I cant wait for the next videos😊 Godbless you and BoyP and hv a safe mototrip around Cordi👍👊
For me, Baguio, the City of Pines, will always be a place of solitude, leisure, and recreation. Things may have changed, like in many places, as change is constant, yet this city will continue to give you wonderful experiences if you plan your trips well and visit the right places. I miss this great city!
wow! you filmed the best places and sceneries along the way, from your drone we can see the birds eyeview of everthing..nice travelling wth kumander daot😂
You could say the gorge is not just amazing -- it's gorgeous! 6:09 The homes built on the sides of the gorge are so impressive. I like how colorfully they are painted. Baguio seems fascinating, but it looks very crowded. I laughed so hard when I saw you put on the strawberry🍓hat because I thought you were getting it for Lily. Looks a little small for you. I guess when it fits tight it keeps your head warmer.
Beautiful La Trinidad, Benguet.. well, baguio is still cold w/out that much pine trees😊🤷🏽♂️price to pay for modernization . hope you travel and feature Calanasan, Apayao too kumander😊
Very glad to see you collaborating again with Boy P. You have a great chemistry ever since you met and also nice to be exploring this time with a Filipino perspective. Enjoy the mountains
Oh wow! I haven't been to Baguio since the 90s. Last memory I had was horseback riding with my family. And eating corn at Burnham park. Those fresh strawberries look so good! Baguio has the best strawberry jam. So good with freshly made pandesal. 🍓🐎⛰️🇵🇭
Beautiful Baguio, last time I saw that city was 1979-80 , they painted it right, used to be plain black ,I wonder who painted it , good choice of colour.perfectly done 🦁Amping kumander Daot.
Masarap na ang mga strawberry doon Kumander! Mabibighani ang paligid sa daan malapit na Baguio! Tama na nga ang mga tribu Australyano nasunog na ng yuta rin!
Baguio is my spiritual place (if there's such a thing) it's always been where I feel the most at peace, if I could I would like to spend my last year's there. But for now it's all about the grind 👊
There are FOUR (4) main roads to go up/down Baguio. On the way back down try the Asin-Nangalisan road and practice your motoring skills. It's more sharpy curvy than Kennon.
My first time up there was in 1987..First time in P.I that I didn't need a fan or AC! Population levels were much less back then but it's still a place I hope to return to!
After watching this video of commander daot,, I'm thinking he's near to banaue Rice terraces,, inform us if you're about to come here, just to take a photo with you
Baguio is so freaking crowded now. I love Baguio during the 60's to 80's. It use to be called the summer capital of the Philippines. I believe the mountains of Mindanao are much better now.
LGU'S are greedy. They cut down trees to make place for buildings and houses. Which actually puts down the value of the city. Mindanaons are more intelligent. They let more trees in the city like Tagum. Replanting or displacing. Plus the city no landscape plans. No uniformity, looks like built by anarchists ☹️
The dangerous air quality over many parts of places like Thailand will say that burning is NOT good at all. "As cold as a British Summer" The perfect temperature.
Napansin ko sa video ni kumander daot ang la paz at baguio halos parehas lang pala At karamihang naninirahan sa dalawang city ay puro mga indigenous people
Mate, an epic content. I’m continue to impress with your knowledge of the language, your cheerful interaction with the locals, immersing the the culture. I was shocked with the overpopulated/crowded place now. My first encountered during school excursion ( high school). Returned visit on late 80s for holiday/, goodness me, so different.. On the positive - thanks showcase of agribusiness/ - always Baguio as a salad bowl of Manila eg the produce. Keep on exploring places mate and cheers ..
Peace ✌️ be with you KD and on ya! God bless your journey and be encouraged be well be healthy be happy and be enlightened to bring us More and more videos! 😂🎉🎉❤I enjoy watching you guys live the dream! 🎉🎉
Hello po ganda ng mga shots ninyo s Baguio, so beautiful place i love to go back to on my every vacation, ask klng po kung ok kung saan po ung place of ur stay in Baguio, i love the terrace , hope u can share that location n details to me for my next future vacation, tnk u so much n i love to see u enjoying my beautiful country the Philippines , the people n even more proud that u can speak Visayan dialect , tnk u n be safe always ❤️😘
Great vid! I love Baguio, although it is too crowded now. Those mountains and hills with houses occupying every inch does not look beautiful to me. I want the old look of Baguio, when those mountains and hills were all green with pine trees. The city should have regulated migration decades ago. I know everyone wants to live there because its a beautiful place, but, realistically, the city was only designed for much less people. When I was younger and would visit Baguio with my family, you could smell the pine trees even before entering the city limits. The city was so green back then that it felt so relaxing and serene. It was truly a place to take a vacation and to have a breather. Now, that the population is so big, and there are houses even in the mountains and hills, its as if you are still in Metro Manila when you visit. You also no longer smell the pine trees when you are in the city because there's almost none left within the city. You have to go to the outskirts to see and smell the pine trees. What the authorities should have done decades ago was to make a development plan. In anticipation of migration from the lowlands, other places in the Cordilleras near Baguio should have been developed for residential areas and efficient public transportation to and from Baguio should have been established. This would have scattered the current population and prevented Baguio City from being too congested. The authorities should have been strict in enforcing the existing safety regulations in building houses in the mountains and hills. Yes, it is allowed to build in those places but the number of houses there are supposed to be limited, and thats for safety reasons. Now the mountains and hills look like slum areas, sort of like the flavelas in Brazil. Not beautiful at all. It is too late to correct the mistakes made. It is hard to remove those people living by the mountain sides and hills. I hope there wouldn't be a strong earthquake like what happened in 1990, because if that happens, many of those houses will definitely be destroyed and lives will be lost.
Taga Baguio ako pero ang sarap mapanood paano I-appreciate ni kumander daot ang benguet

Mountain Province and Benguet are much better, Baguio is really crowded because of the peopke coming from the lowlands
Baguio is Baguio no matter what.
@@Ignayal indeed. But the fact is, Baguio has lost it's pristige.
even back in 90s when I was young, baguio was so much more different. Many wild flowers along the round and the scent of air is different.
