I LOVE your videos and your attitude. Thank you for always making me smile during these trying times. Also have been quilting for 40 years and never thought of using walking foot for actual quilting except for stitch in the ditch. Plus simple wavy lines, brilliant, fast and easy. Thank you for my smile today!
Merry Christmas to you and your Family Irene!! Waiting to see you put the 3 part quilt together to make up my mind how I want to quilt mine. Take care, be happy, and healthy in the coming new year.
I tried this but my machine couldn’t handle the 12 wt. However, I’ve had no trouble with 28 wt along with 40 or 30 wt in the bobbin. Aurifil is great for having all colors in every weight!
I love quilting with wavy lines. Does the 90 needle have a larger eye to accommodate the 12 weight thread? Can't wait to see you sewing the quilt sections together. I have never seen that. See you next time. Stay safe too! Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Where do you buy your 12 weight thread? I asked my local quilt shop and they almost panicked when I told them I wanted 12 weight. Said it was just for upholstery.
If you start in the middle and and then go to the side then once you complete that side can you not turn the quilt around and Stitch from the other side of the top so that you don't have so much under the throat of your machine or does it all have to be stitched in the same direction?
When I do a design like this, whether with straight or wavy lines I like to start at the same side of the quilt for every line. For me that gives a better result in the overall quilt.
Not quilting related but I'm trying to learn Dutch and keep getting WE/WIJ and JE/JIJ wrong. Is there a rule or way I could memorise there use. In English there's the I before E except after C rule that works most of the time. Thanks for any help you can give me. Just watched a 2year old video of yours where you built a cot for Jules 'Little Mister' in your studio. He reminds me of my grandsons. I hope the terrible twos aren't too bad.😷😘
Fijne feestdagen ,hou het gezond .Ik heb veel geleerd in deze qal en vind pp erg leuk.zou je misschien, in de toekomst ,kunnen tonen hou je een eigen pp patronen kan maken?
I love the 12 wt thread! It is really nice with the organic waves. No pressure! 🙂 You showed the different thread on your back (bobbin thread), but I wasn’t sure if it’s just the normal 50 wt?

Did you say 90/40 needle for the 12wt thread?? I couldn't quite make that out?

I buy my supplies at a wholesale company. But I'm sure you'll find some online shops when you google 'aurifil 12wt thread'

MERRY X'MAS STAY SAFE!
I love your quilt! And I am excited to see how you put the three pieces together. I love soft, thicker batting. What batting are you using?
I used a thicker bamboo batting. It's to fluffy and soft!
What stitch did you use on your Bernina to quilt wavy lines?
For this I used just a normal straight stitch with stitch length 3.5

Dank je wel Fabienne! Wat leuk dat je dat vraagt, rond maart 2021 komt mijn cursus over het ontwerpen van je eigen paper piecing patronen uit!
I understand delay I hope that vaccine works and comes soon. Stay healthy I’m ready to play 😎

Yes that's correct. In the bobbin I have a 50wt thread
Good morning. How are things on your side of the world. I hope your feeling good. Miss you here on you tube

Yikes. Love your videos but this one is a bomb. Bad quilting all the way around!
