I visited NYC again recently, and found my reaction to the R160 (E) train to be... "whatever." With all due respect to my fellow R32 fans, I really miss the days when the (E) and (F) were all R46 models.
I grew up seeing the R32 primarily on the (G) and the (R), and... they did great there... especially after they fixed a lot of stuff (bad PA systems, carbon steel doors, etc.)
