I’m 61 and have been a shooter since about 12 years old. Grew up hunting with the Remington 1100 and S&W revolvers and autos. As time passed I gravitated towards Glocks and CZ’s. My personal carry weapon is a G48 with 15 round shield mags. I keep EVERYTHING STOCK except the crappy sights. Every time I’ve replaced or tinkered with the trigger in a Glock failure’s always followed. There’s nothing fancy about a Glock but you can count on them when things go south. My favorite pistol of all time is the CZ SP 01 tactical. I live in Monroe, La and took it to Cajun Gun Works for a complete tuneup. $2,100 for the gun, Delta Point Pro and gunsmithing. That weapon out shoots anything I’ve ever fired hands down. Zero recoil and an absolute tack driver in the hands of anyone who dedicates the training time. The only drawback is weight. It’s a heavy gun but well worth the investment and trade off in my opinion. Cajun Gun Works is amazing. Got to know the guys and they love what they do. He set my trigger at 3lbs and that takes some getting used too but once you settle in it’s game on. A buddy of mine bought the $5,000 dollar 2011 and I gave it a try. Super nice and flat shooting but I preferred the CZ.
Glocks will forever be the fighting weapon you can count on when the SHTF. Just acquired the G40 and love it. That one goes boom in a big way. Try that one vs. the G20. I believe you get all of the powder burn with the extra length. No fireball
    Love all of your content.

They are nice for many reasons, only work on the full size grips though. The early g5 19’s is where the hate cane from because its too small of a grip for it and your finger lays right over the top of the cut out and its very uncomfortable.

    • @ktrain420247

That stupid moon cut out is on my gen 2 g19 and it can pinch your pinky finger while shooting if you don’t have a good grip , they should have put it on the side imho

Great video. I too love iron sights. I think a red dot is way over rated for the average EDC citizen and not needed. Iron sights work nicely and don’t add bulk to a concealed carry gun. I will say, I love a KKM barrel in my Glock 20’s, 40 and 29’s when hunting with lead hardcast bullets. Otherwise, OEM Glock barrels are awesome “as-is.”

Would be awesome if you'd do a video just on your trigger refinement, don't know if that's possible. You an awesome shooter. You don't need a TTI Glock to be competitive; make you base secondnature, buy and drill with as much ammo as you can afford, stretch that out with good drills, and consistent training and endless dry-fire reps. Hopefully this is what people take away from this video, Thank you much, Bob. Kudos!

Robert is proof that you don't need a $10,000 pistol to beat the best shooters in the world.

Glock only had a "bad" trigger, until everybody started making a striker fired pistol. Now you have many companies that has the same exact trigger as a Glock, some just have a lighter pull. That's a trade off.
Glock never really refined their trigger, and it was on purpose... because as Gaston said "I make duty ready pistols"...

It's frame battering you need to look out for, and what you're shooting through it is the main concern with lighter recoil springs. Minimum power factor vs +p makes for a big difference with really light recoil springs.
