    good morning , at 13:40 there are 16 triangles, not 12 and 19:47 for the dice, the sum of the numbers on opposite surfaces is 7. At 23:58 of the given options, only 24 is divisible by 4, no need formula. At 26:04 correct answer is 8 and it's not in options (When you multiply the sum of the bottom numbers by the middle number, you should get the top number). At 26:39 alternative answer is 305. If the differences between the numbers in the given series increase by 3X, 4X and we assume that the next one will be 5X, the new number can be ((65-17)x5)+65=305. At 44:43 its 87.5 degrees. At 54:59 as an alternative solution if you sum 2 digits of 1th number and multiple with the 2nd, answer is 27

    I think you were trying to trick 🤔us.
    The triangle 🔺️ question with the following numbers:
    18. 56. 104
    3. 8. 8
    42. 61. 5?
    You give the choices for answers
    9, 10, 11, 12
    The only way to solve this puzzle is to
    Add the bottom two numbers, multiply the middle number, the answer is the top number.
    So, the last triangle
    Is( 5+x )8=104
    40+8x=104
    8x=64
    8x/8=64/8
    X=8

    He spends 40% on utilities and 50% of $1500 is $600
    It is given that for heating and electricity he spends 15% higher than he spends on utilities that means 15% of $600 that $90.
    Total amount he spends on heating and electricity is $690.
    To find the amount he spends on other things:-

    Utility was 40% of 1500 = 600
    Electricity is 15 % higher then utility 600×15/100= 690
    Sum of utility and electricity 600+690= 1290

      if utility is 40% of 1500, = 600
      then electricity heating is 15% higher than 40%, it makes it 55%
      and 55% of 1500 = 825
      there total sum spent on utitlit and electricity = 40%+55%,
      =600+825 = 1,425
      hence, what is left to spend on other things
      = 1500 - 1425
      = 75.
      how did you get 690?

    • @ritaagbeko8990
      @ritaagbeko8990 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@africasfinest7637 so the question says, electricity and heating is 15% higher than what is paid on utilities. so if the cost of utilities is 600 (40% of 1500), then the incremental is (600*15%)+600 =690. or 600*115% = 690. Now to determine how much is spend on other stuff, add the cost of utility - 600 to the cost of electricity and heating - 690 to get 1290. then subtract this amount, that is 1290 from 1500 which gives you 210. I hope this helps

    On the Kiara and Olivia problem:
    Kiara walked 5x
    Olivia walked 8x
    Where x is the time both walked.
    The equation should be
    8x = 5x + 20

  • @mchabbi
    @mchabbi Год назад +9

    Let's call the time it takes for Olivia to catch up to Kiara "t".
    During this time, Kiara will have walked a distance of 5t miles.
    Meanwhile, Olivia will have walked a distance of 8t + 4 miles (remember, she started 4 miles behind Kiara).
    In order for Olivia to catch up to Kiara, they must have walked the same distance.
    So we can set up the equation:
    5t = 8t + 4
    Simplifying, we get:
    3t = 4
    t = 4/3
    So it will take Olivia 4/3 of an hour (or 80 minutes) to catch up to Kiara.

    • @nazgulhansen318
      @nazgulhansen318 9 месяцев назад

      When you simplify the equation, variable turns negative in your equation because you isolate the variable, or 4 turns negative. Either way depending what you move to the other side of the equation.

  • @SamiEgemen

    Kiara's distance is X and Olivia's is 4+X. Their meeting suggests that both of them will travel for the same amount of time. So Kiara's time is X/5, and Olivia's time is (4+X)/8. The equation becomes: X/5 = (4+X)/8 (you equal one to another because the travel times are the same). Cross multiply and get 20+5X = 8X. So 3X = 20 and X = 20/3. Then calculate the the time is (use Kiara's equation, it's simpler) and that is (20/3)/5, which is 20/15. The trick is... it is 20/15 HOURS. Do not disregard units. Simplify it to 4/3 hours and that is 80 minutes. I will stick to that. mchabbi explained it below more plainly.

    D=20/3 MILES

      All this IQ tests can be trained, it really shows how good you're at solving this tests, not more, not less. I was killing this shit 15 years ago in school and now I think this test will show that I'm a moron. I guess I won't get the offer XD

    Another pattern for 29:05
    11 44 99 ?
    \ /\ /\ /
    \ / \ / \ /
    44 - 11 = 33 99 - 44 = 55 ? - 99 = x
    33 55 x
    \ /\ /
    \ / \ /
    55 - 33 = 22 x - 55 = 22 (I assumed that that the second difference is constant, so it's quadratic)
    So:
    x - 55 = 22
    x = 22 + 55
    x = 77
    ? - 99 = x
    ? - 99 = 77
    ? = 77 + 99
    ? = 176
    ***********************OR****************************
    Pattern 1
    11 44 99 x
    (Simplified the numbers by dividing by 11)
    1 4 9 x
    \ /\ / \ /
    4-1=3 9-4=5 x - 9 = y
    Pattern 2
    3 5 y z
    \ /\ /\ /\
    5 - 3 = 2 y - 5 = 2 z - y = 2 (I assumed that that second difference is constant, so it quadratic)
    Solve y to solve z and x:
    y - 5 = 2
    y = 2 + 5
    y = 7
    You can leave z and only solve x
    x - 9 = y
    x - 9 = 7
    x = 7 + 9
    x = 16
    Pattern 1 (simplified)
    1 4 9 16 ( now multiply everything by 11)
    11 44 99 176
    Or you can use the quadratic pattern formula to solve this

      pretty sure the answer is wrong. the pattern is that the two digits in the first operand are added together and then multiplied by the second operand. So it should be 27. Unless I am missing something.

    You have at least 3 questions with wrong answers, really embarrassing considering this is supposed to be a training video... At the 55 minute mark, the answer is 27. And as previously discussed, two of the answers in other questions were 16 and 8.
