Having cables to make turns for 30 yrs., I can't wait...just received BMF/R Stealth bindings yesterday, (Happy 54th Birthday present to myself !), mounted them today, skiing them tomorrow. Have skied many lines in Silverton as well. Great to see the footage. Thank you Bishop!
So fun to watch as a bookmark to my 5 days in Steamboat and back in the Midwest. I believe I am convinced to make the transition from G3 Targa to NTN. I also just turned 54 and 26 yrs on cables and. 3 knee surgeries.
Never seen anyone ski with one, long pole. Fascinating! As a low-angled XCD skier, I can appreciate the power, skill and elegance these guys demonstrate.
Lurk is the name of the stick. Some use them like a kayak paddle… others more like an SUP paddle. Diana Revierra (spelling!!) has recently put up a few videos w athletes lurking #backtothefuture
Nice skiing. Love your bindings have a pair a few years old, looking forward to getting a pair of the new step in ones. So i can be in quickly and beat my buddies to the powder. LOL Keep up the great work. 😊
I've tried Telemarking a handful of times and used regular ski poles but using one long pole like these guys do just made sense. It seemed more natural, like I wanted to really lean uphill on that pole. Are there certain brands of these long poles?
Hi! Yes... it's us (Bishop Telemark)! We are the only company to produce and sell a lurk. We call it the San Juan Stick. Check it out on our website: bishoptelemark.com/collections/san-juan-stick-lurk
