Welcome to 10 minutes or less ship review for the Drake Cutter.
This is using update 3.23 and is the first ship to be reviewed in a line of starters due to the Community vote on the youtube page!
This is a starter ship that starts at $60 but is currently on sale for $54. If you already have Star Citizen you could absolutely buy this in game for 625,040 aUEC!
This is the ship you get when you pledge for this ship or if you get it in game.
This review is of the STOCK ship.
This review is just my OPINION.

i love the cutter, i really wish there was a better “not starter” version of it that wasn’t the cutlass, i don’t like how the cutlass looks but the cutter? perfection. it feels like driving a van in space, i just wanna park it by astors clearing and vibe lol

What I really enjoy about your reviews is your focus on "what can I do with this ship"
and the Drake Cutter is really a "you can do a lot for a small amount of money"

Great review! I have the scout and love it. I really love the look of the ship and it it very versatile little ship.
I bought in with a Cutter, and it's still one of my favorite ships. Love the way it looks and sounds and feels to fly.
The Cutter was my first ship. Some of my best "new player" memories involve the Cutter.
One of the top 10 ships made in star citizen. Hands down.

I know the Syluen is more experience because of the alien tax, but the Cutter, 300i, and Syluen are in their own light weight class. It's just weird because the Cutter is $45 standalone while the Syluen is $70 standalone.
The Aurora, mustang, 100i are all in their own featherweight class.
Absolutely love this little guy and for just 5 more buckaroos to get the Rambler variant, you get a stupid amount of QF, better layout of the middle section and still enough space to fit a PTV or 2 SCUs
The cutter definitely looks like the best starter ship, honestly...
It's a really amazing first step into the game, does everything barring combat very well and comfortably for it's size class and it's such a cozy camper van of a ship. Will make a great shuttle for a larger ship with hangar space once you've worked up to a larger vessel as well.
It really is. Not great in a fight, but it has enough hull hp that you can usually run away.
The Cutter is ridiculously versatile and has legs for days. Hands down my favorite starter, and I'll always have one in my hangar.
I love the Cutlet with an STV, but the Pulse is a great solo option. And probably a bit more Drake, considering... Give it the Nightrider paint and it'll blend right in.
I have quiet a few ships to chose from, like the Titan, C1, MSR or the Corsair. But i always catch me coming back to the Cutter Rambler and the Cutter (which i bought in game). They are just fine little ships. No frills, no cosmetic, just pure space camper vans.
As someone who tested quiet a few ships, i can only say:
If you are looking for a good alrounder that can carry you and a boatload of other things around the verse, the Cutter is for you.
The space van! Seems like every time I upgrade one to a new ship, I end up picking up a new van after a while. It might not be the best fighter, but it will get you places
You should compared this with Aurora and Titan. That would give an idea for people if exstra money would worth the money. ( ofcourse buying this and upgrade it to titan would be the optimum choice)
Yep, I got one as LTI token a while back, and it is probably the most usable starter ship, except for ship combat. It is a bit of a brick, does not have as many Gs as other starters, the hitbox is huge und the VTOL Thrusters suffer the same problem as the ones from the Cutty Series. But for anything but combat, it is super comfy and well rounded. Plus, it has that Drake-Chic
The ship that started it all for me. Now having the rambler, the base variant feels claustrophobic to me
The Hercules mk2 from Freespace 2, brings back warm childhood memories :)

I love the cutter so much. If I could make a ship I would call it Cutter XL and make it a basically the razor crest (mando’s ship) it won’t be good at pvp but pve bounties or cargo. I know there is the Cutty but I was very disappointed at the cutlass and its performance

The cutter is a very special ship and miles ahead of the other starter ships
They really improve how his flies in a Straight line
Only thing the is ship can’t do is combat.
I luv the new breed of ships and vehicles, exquisitly designed and next-level excellence. The Cutter is a nice little allrounder, paints being equally nice. Kudos. PS: ''NO Givaway'' thanks, have enough ships.

True other competitor is Titan but Cutter has QT range which no other ship can match for the price point.

I really want to play but it's been a nightmare trying to take off my Corsair keeps getting stuck on phantom ships in the launch bay even changing servers
I love my cutter, this is the best starter for me, but we must be honest. He fly like a Brick, and I don't recommand Cutter for Bounty hunting, especially in atmosphere. Mustang is much better choice in this case.
