Stop thanking these colonizers.
RIP thank you for your service.
Marami Salamat Po 🇺🇸 🇵🇭

It really is an end of an era. The greatest generation is leaving us. Now it's up to us to do something for future generations to look up too. May we make better choices
It's not just 4 months. It's been years since they were starving. They waited for rescue. McArthur promised them with the infamous "I shall return" quote.
Thank you for your service, RIP 👏
Salute, thank you for being there to protect the fatherland & motherland of the Philippines and marching with the Filipinos standing strong side by side to the end. We owe the US greatly for their endless support, courage and bravery. Now let's stop the Chinese people from slowly conquering, annexing and trespassing on every islands. 🇺🇸🇵🇭🇳🇿🇮🇱💪👊

Goosebumps. Thank you for your sacrifices for the freedom of the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤️.
why am i just seeing this only just now. i wished he flew back here in the Philippines to tell his story of survival at that historic event that marked the bravery of these men both Filipinos and Americans soldiers, because for me as a Social Science teacher it is best to hear the word from a person who experience and witness it first hand. it maybe painful to remember but for listeners it is a pride and joy for his life and will to survive. people like him, for me, are people who live to tell the unspeakable story of WW. SALUTE.
My grandpa was one of the 65k Filipinos who were captured, where can we go to get more info on him? we'd like to see if there might be some archive photos or memorial of him. My grandma received pension from the U.S. when she was living in the Phillipines, but nothing was left in her house whe she eventually died, like paperwork, photos, or anything
As a Filipino American maraming salamat po sir
my dads grandpa was one of the bataan death march. He got escaped by jumping on the river and swam fast as he could while the Japanese troops were shooting at them that got escape. Though he already passed away.
Thank you for your service Chief Kerchum (RIP) from the Philippines & Mabuhay!

If you think about it. 100+ years is not that long ago. It's crazy to think how the world changed with that short period of time.
God Bless those who served.
The father of my moms uncle escaped this and it wasn't just him there were a few that did.. ran through the bushes when Japanese soldiers weren't looking.
