Sorry! I made a mistake! 미안하다 is also a Sino-Korean word, 未安하다.
It still doesn't change that 죄송하다 sounds stronger than 미안하다.
+Sa Ra the ㅁ on the begining of a sentence always sounds like "mb" close your mouth like you wanna say '
+Sa Ra like you wanna say M but then make it sound like a B
Younger unnie! haha so cute, and these older style videos haha, the new ones are better of course :D
@@searid thank you i was about to ask the same

비디오가 진짜 재미있어요~ 고마워요 언니~^^
I just subscribed because besides knowing practical formal and informal Korean, it's good to know antiquated Korean as I LOVE the Korean historical dramas. Thanks a lot for that tidbit of useful information~.
I use my own phonatics as I'm dyclic, this has been helpful for me learning other languages, so everything is helpful for all, just find the way that suits a person
Thanks for this kind of videos. It helps me to learn faster before I live to Korea.
This was super helpful. I had a vocab paper that had 미안하요 and 죄송해요 and from practicing Korean until now, I knew better. Lol. Thank you. Surely didn't want to affend anyone on the sstreet
Clear pronunciation and explanation.
OMG THANKS SO MUCH THIS IS SO HELPFULL!!! *-*
Thank you for watching!
Love your "old skool" accent... 전하~아아아.... ㅎㅎㅎ
I think a simple bow works best if you bump into someone. I suggest teaching our 후배 the difference between 미안해요, 잠시만요 and 실례합니다. It is not uncommon in English to say, "I'm sorry", for each one of these Korean phrases.
That's for your nice video 💖
But bumping to someone is usual thing in korea. They don't usually say sorry.
@@Raven-zc3yw yes
@@alliahrose2878 Sometimes we do, I'm Korean who's living Gumi, Korea. Sometimes we do say sorry when we bump into each other specially when someone drops something because of the impact, but you're also right because we don't say sorry all the time, just sometimes.
@@HereGoesKevin i do understand, it is just pretty common to see it.
I can pretty much say your entire intro in Korean ㅋㅋㅋ I've been binge watching your videos
+Tykaysia Brown Oh that's great! XD It hasn't been long since I started to use that intro haha
Unnie ur English is really good
Thank you so much for teaching.
You're welcome!
i have been searching high and low how to spell 'songguhapnida' in hangul...thanks for this video!
Oh my 7 versions..I'm gonna have a fun time learning Korean..this is something I really want to do. 고맙습니다!
can i us your suggestion unnie? what is more helpful to learn in korean. watching korean movie/drama with subtitle or without subtitle? .
im hope you see this, actually im starting to learn in korean. but its really hard to construct a sentence in korean. i think 2-3 words that i can construct. but if the words is alot i cant understand.
I heard some people say "sorry" like "mi ahn hae", not "bi ahn hae". why is there the difference in pronunciation?
It helps to learn the alphabet.

@@KoreanUnnie unnie you are so pretty 😳
Haha thanks this was a nice video.
I've known all these except 송구하웁니다 😃 yes I've noticed that the accent in the history dramas differs from the modern ones (I feel it's heavier, Am I right?) 🙈 Thank you so much for the video 감사합니다 ❤
+Noreko 이나라 I am glad that you learned something although you might never use that phrase! XD Yes those ones used in history dramas are more heavier XD You're welcome 나라
waaa... unni sooooo young this time.. 3 years back..haha

No surprise, but I really like this video! Nice how you cover an area quite a lot, and I like the pronunciation part of this video. Nice addition. I guess the only thing missing, but could come later, is how to use it in a sentence in the case when you don't just like to utter this alone.
미안해 always remind me of that catch phrase in Gag Concert :D Great skit!
+wowJhil Thank you! Haha you watch gag concert? I actually never really find it funny, I like snl Korea humor better XD
한국언니 Korean Unnie Haha, well Gag Concert is easier to find as it's on KSB World with subtitles here on RUclips :) But I also like SNL the best, but then I need to rely on fansubs. Actually Jay Park is pretty dam good, not just at singing!
***** I also watch Running man and Infinite Challenge. But they do have their ups and downs! Currently I like Knowing Brother the most, when it comes to the non musical show purely variety.
***** I did Watch Invisible Man when it was new, saw some episodes of it. But then I don't know if it had a season 2 or not. Knowing Brother is fun, try it! I watch the shows at kshowonline.com. Although I prefer Jae Suk, I liked Kang Hodong somewhat ever since Xman :)
Can u make a video of different ways to say thank you? 감사😀😀😀
Houduo He Gomawo, gomawoyo, gomapda, kamsahaeyo, kamsa and kamsahamnida. Hope it helps 😊

Hello noona! Thank you so much for this video, i wanna ask u about 저기요(jugiyo) we can use it in which context?
+Kitsuke Helljoka You're welcome! You can use 저기요 to make someone(usually stranger) to pay attention to you, it's like saying excuse me before asking directions on the street!
राम्रो छ ।
How about u say sorry to the customer “joesong habnida” can use it too the customer?
I knew all of these expect the last one lol
Nuna which is the best place in South Korea to hang out with friends
I've heard in kdramas saying "dega jhal mutthesyo" or something like that for I'm sorry, what's that???
송구하옵니다***
Can you please tell if there is a word like chalmutaseyo?? Which is used to apologise...i have seen it in some dramas...usually the person apologising is rubbing his hands together in a circular fashion while apologizing!!
How can we say sorry to a person who is older and stranger?
how do you pronounce 외? and 의? sometimes 외 is translated as oi , like 최 (choi) or is it wie ? and 의 , is it UI or yi?
+Kpop Feels // kpopillow 외 is more like was. No it is not pronounced as oi. It's just English transcription of Korean us sometimes weird. For the pronunciation of 의, I made a video before you might want to watch it. :) ruclips.net/video/7vt3dG4GZKs/видео.html
외 = woe , 위 = wi , 의 = ui

I’ve always wanted to know why ㅁ is pronounced like ㅂ in certain situations, like this one. It’s something I’m having trouble finding

How do you say clara in korean???
how do i say aw sorry in korean?
kamsamitha
mi yan nhi,too ipunna..
I am comparing this to GRACE_official's video of her version of Justin Bieber's Sorry for analysis.
Can you add the English romanisation so I can see how I can pronounce the words easily please
+bloom4mee This is because romanization is not official, just like the best (but not precise) written way of saying the words. If you learn the alphabet and how to say it, then one wouldn't need romanization
Hangul is one of the easiest Asian alphabets to learn . I learned in less than a month I Learned in a week but to learn it properly it look me a while. Romanization is not a good way to learn Korean. Learning Hangul if way easier because wherever you go it doesn't tell you how to pronounce it , does it ?
*cough cough koreaboo alert
Romanization it bad
She is actually my Nuna.
Does "Sorry" have satoori?! If so I want to know
Eonni what about "tell him i’m sorry(him is her big brother)"
I have a video suggestion. I am not sure if you have done this, but could you make a video of household furniture? Thanks!
Yes!!!
thank you!
I didn't found how to say thank you in 7 ways where is it
how do I say sorry not sorry?
y u didn't tell chuosomitha?
anoyong
Guys, don't learn korean with romanization. The example I have is Jin, his full name is Kin Seok Jin but fans prononces it : Kim - See-ok Jin. When its prononces Kim Sok Jin with the oe prononce correcly of course
No, if you CAN read romanization correctly you can get to the correct pronouncation, simple as that.
You're right.. A lot of native speakers say not to learn romanization first
anneyonghaseyo kangaroo timmy🤦🏻♀️😂
황송하옵니다는 어때요?

Want to know how jk said sorry to jiminah on that rainy day😅😅 wanted to know the word bt couldn't find anything similar😶😶

I forget so easly...uhhh
I'm like 6 years late but just wanted to add that "송구" (Song-gu) is used by politicians and high level officials now days. If you're normal person (basically not high ranking official) then you would probably never use this word though.
My others Minecraft friend is from Korea
And I will learn Korea
죄송하다
In another video some people said it’s mean excuse me
Not sorry for something wrong
? It’s right
I'm so confused, how come ㅚ is pronounced as ㅙ in 죄송합니다?
So you live in South Korea ? I'm guessing . And do you have a video on getting directions in korea ? if not can you make one 제발
+DeluxeBandanna3 2 Right now I am not in South Korea!! I am in Uni in America but when I go to Korea I will make one! Thank you for the suggestion ㅎㅎ
미안해요=Sorry
should u bow while saying sorry?
Yes
미안 = 미안해, 미안하다
this is so confusing when you write the basic word for sorry in korean mianhae but you say it like bianhae
So ^Mian^ doesn`t mean i`m sorry?
If I have to say sorry to someone younger than me but is a stranger then I can say 미안해 or 미안해요?
Chimchim Jamjam 미안해요. Always formal to strangers.
I recently watched a video she said its mian haminnida now you said bianhaminnida I think I should give up now😓😓
Bee _yan_ hae
Informal
not to older people or strangers
Be yan hae yo
Most commonly used
Respect
feminine?
Be yan hab ni da
VERY FORMAL
Masculine?
Chae sung hae yo
SIMILAR TO LAST ONE
Chae sung hab ni da (bow)
MOST FORMAL FORM OF SORRY
To boss
To teacher
Parents
Sun go ha oob ni da
AwKwArd
Old sorry
I have a question please . i hear a lot of korean people pronouncing the word 미안해 mianhe , and also there's others , like you 언니 , who pronounce it bianhe . what's the difference ?
try saying the 'm' sound really hard, it kinda sounds like a 'b'
I am slightly confused... you said that you can say 미안해 to friends, but not people older then you... does that mean I can't say this to friends who are older then me, or can I use this with friends who are older then me?
You can use it to friends who are older than you
Eonni, i wanna ask, this is ㅁ m rigth? Why do you say b? Is it the rule? I'm new at hangeul😂
Please reply
how to say i love you?
Tipu Singh
사랑해 or 사랑합니다
