I am a hardcore Photoshop and illustrator guy. I know I can create a really premium watch face in Photoshop but not sure how to bring it to my GW watch 4 and of course I don't know how to animate/sync it. I am a graphic designer but never did much of video/anime editing if it makes sense

Hopefully someone can answer me this: I used to use Watchmaker a LOT back in roughly 2015 when I got my moto360. Being a graphical designer and coder, as well as a watch enthausiast, this was a match made in heaven. Then Motorola pushed an update to the watch, making it so that the backlight never fully turned off thus draining the battery like crazy. This rendered the watch useless since it would be emtpy somehwere around lunchtime. Now, 5-6 years later I picked it back up. After re-pairing and resetting it I started to play around with watchmaker again. I found my old watch faces an dwas able to get them into the app (free version) However, I can't push them to the watch. Is watchmaker these days, really made in such a way that you need to PURCHASE the companion app (that wasn't the case "back in the old days")..???
@@TechItEasyCollective well, that's just b-e-a-utifull! That aside, I noticed that the watch kept shutting down randomly. After some investigating on the interwebs, it seems to be a problem with the battery. Ordered a new battery to try and solve the problem. If it does fix the problem, I might invest in Watchmaker.
I have the Watchmaker app but it cannot connect with the Gear S3 Frontier... 💁.. I don’t know why... The Companion application is requested, but it is not free, and I do not have a PayPal card... Is there anyone who can find a solution for me?! 😕😢

Quick question though. When you make your own watch face can you put multiple presets? Or do you have to redesign it each time?

From what I can tell now and looking at the complaints from people, im going to say yes, unfortunately you will have to pay for the companion app :(

Facer no longer allows us to import watch faces. Watchmaker no longer allows us to download the widget on our smart watch. What do we do from here?
