Ive been binging your content and decided to continue playing where i left off. I was stuck on velkana, but finally beat her! Its safe to say that i will forever hate that dragon.

I recently beat Shara and went to take on Frostfang Barioth for his weapon (somehow, he was just as weak as Namielle). Do you have any tips for guiding lands progress? It honestly left me a bit confused.
I wouldn't mind doing videos on them, but I have so many other ideas to work on before Wilds comes out, I dunno if I'll have the time. I have played 'em both in the past though!
Rajang's grab is blockable(you don't even need guard up), but it's very sensitive to guard angle. I do wish they didn't make chip dmg so strong in iceborne, even with guard 5 I struggle T_T
Ahh I see! Yeah the chip damage is awful. The shield isn't very helpful against some monsters if so many attacks require you to sheath and heal up afterwards anyway XD
i thought rajang was a good match up for lance? It is for me anyway. And are you not using shield up? You could've counter clutch clawed the grab if you were.
Hello. I've been playing lance for a long time and I can say a few things about your lance play: 1)Probably because you're not used to playing with a lance, you still seem very inclined to dodge attacks instead of simply blocking them with your shield. And about that, I must say that you should avoid sheath your lance as much as possible, and add that the shield will only block attacks in the direction it is facing, unless of course you use power guard. 2)Regarding dodging, it may be that as you get used to the weapon and the monster you are facing, it may be better for you to dodge rather than block. But never try to dodge by sheathing the weapon, speaking of the lance, this action takes a lot of time. Always try to dodge using lance movements, such as the guard dash (for short and quick movements) and use the leaping thrust, hops and dash attack to get closer to or away from the monster. 3)Lastly I saw that you were taking a lot of chip damage. Check that your elemental resistance is not negative or too low against the element the monster uses. If is not the case, also check if you are using the guard at level 5, to minimize the chip damage and knockback that is suffered when blocking the monster's attacks. And that's it. These are just a few points that I noticed when watching the video, but I confess that you play much better than when I started playing with the lance, haha.😅
Ah, I remembered one more thing. You can cancel the dash attack by pressing the guard button or using the reverse attack to finalize the dash. If you are dashing to the monster facing towards you, so using the guard is a safer option. You know, to save the chance of "eating" a electric Kamehameha...
Yeah, the instinct to dodge sometimes gets me. But sometimes I feel like I'm gonna get carted by chip damage with a block, which results in me being indecisive and messing up the inputs lmao. Some really good tips there though, thank you very muchly!
@@WreckitRai It's always good to see someone give a chance to the lance. It's a weapon without flashy or powerful moves, but that gives me a very nice vibe. Is a weapon to a persistent and relentless play style. The lance doesn't appeal to many people but if you give it a chance, maybe it can click with you.
