The N100 is a pretty amazing little processor, but it only has Intel E cores and no P cores. It probably sips energy, but it lacks the raw power you need for Switch/PS3. Great review! I'd love to get my hands on an N305 processor to see how it stacks up... the low power draw is very compelling.

Hey Retro Gaming Guy, I have a question. I notice your reviews typically don't touch PS3 or Xbox 360, at least not the videos I've watched. Do you have any experience with emulating these consoles on any of these mini PCs, and if so, what would you recommend would be a good one? Or are those systems just a bit too powerful for emulation? Thanks in advance!
Nice one! Let's say I'd have my Batocera build on a Micro SD card - could this also be set as boot priority? And would an SD card be fast enough for retrogaming overall?
Yeah that is possible. I'm not huge in micro sd cards but yeah it should be a good experience. I would recommend only using sandisk or Samsung micro sd cards though and don't buy them on eBay. Amazon is fine but only from amazon direct don't go with the indie sellers on amazon. There's TONS of knockoff micro sd cards going around and they look exactly like the real ones but the performance is terrible and the reliability is even worse. The knockoffs won't last you a week before they corrupt it they even store anything at all.

Ebay is fine as long as its from reputable sellers. You would know this to Im sure
Ive bought on there with no issues myself.
Obviously you'd avoid new sellers or sellers with low feedback selling them for cheap prices ofcourse.
But if in doubt, then sure..as you mentioned.
Currently Unavailable....bummer
Yeah sold quick
Emulation is the way to go
Amazing!
How can I get a game card? RG552
I like retrobat over window 11 works out great on my mid range laptop. Run the game shadow of colossus would tell the tale ps2. Runs on mine.
it already says it's unavailable
What pc is this I can't find it
@Retro Gaming Guy What amd mini pc cpu would you recommend for smooth switch emulation? very good video keep up the great work
This is what I use and the performance is good. Not every title is perfect but that can sometimes be the emulator more so than the pc itself. This isn't a traditional mini pc but the specs are very good and i have had a great experience using it. Usually I don't hold onto mini PCs that I test for long just because I'm always getting new stuff in but I've had this one for 6 months and still find it to be the best option.

@@OfficialChaseBroganthanks'a for the reply and advice I was thinking there for a while I would need a 7000 series mini pc I really appreciate your time this is doable in my opinion
NOT Bot its Bat. BAT like a 🦇
which the best multi emulatos Batocera or emuelec ? I used retroarch before in my personal laptop is good
Out of stock. Now
Another day another PC I have one of the best builds for my hard drive has all consoles and all of their libraries from 1980-Now with the exception of PS5 and Xbox X/S
New to this, so forgive me, but how much something like that cost?
$159?..not bad
I see you have Xbox in the thumbnail. Is that supposed to suggest it did okay with that too? I realize there are issues with that emulator but as far as compatible titles how did it do with Xbox emulation?
Yeah I think there's a Xbox demo if not then I messed up when editing. Xbox as you said it very limited with the emulator but the performance was split 50/50 in my experience. Some titles were perfect and others were laggy.
@@OfficialChaseBrogan So that means it can handle pretty much everything up through 6th generation. That really is good performance for the money. I'll have to keep it in mind for friends. One really has to spend a lot more if they want to cover the generation after that. Probably not worth it to most people. Thanks for The reply.
its literally a nucbox 1 case lol
If you can WiiU, you can switch.
Hello
Raspberry pi 5 announced!
Hopefully they're available, "on paper" it's relatively cheap but if they are as expensive as the Pi 4 has been, I'd still stick to these mini pc's
Agreed. We'll see how many they can get out the door. If they can avoid the supply issues they've become notorious for the past couple years then it'll be worth considering... If not then the resellers are just going to scoop up all the stock and double the resale price on them.
@@OfficialChaseBrogan would be nice to see a new build for the pi5
Clickbait outdated
It's not clickbait. Video covers exactly what is shown.
