I think Jay is more influential, but yah not even giving Em a fair chance. Em made it normalized to go outside the box within the HipHop genre, he gave horror core rap a platform. He gave the whole multiple personalities type of rap a platform. JayZ is more relatable of an artist and he was just a regular ass dude from the city. And Em brought in alot of people into the fanbase. Em expanded the fanbase. When you ask people like JCole or Kendrick they got both JayZ and Em as people who inspired them to rap.
