A very nice video.
Thank you!
I remember when that place was open. Never been inside of it before but drove past it many times. I grew up in Zelie, right in town. There is a plack in town that tells the history of the town.
That's actually Jackson Township, right between Cranberry and Zelie.
Wow i use to work there wow 😅
Used to work in Cranberry Twp. from 1999 to 2005, remember that store because its right by Meredith Battery which is where we got all of our truck batteries from
So much has changed in Cranberry / Seven Fields / Mars & Zelienople area since I worked there along with the Warrendale / Wexford area
Oh, they sold flowers there mostly on holidays.
Looks like a tortoise shell building. The jugs are for when the power goes out and they used it likely to flush the toilet and other things like watering the flowers and such.
One of these days he is going to walk into someone's house.
The shape is a geodesic dome. Very interesting building, and it looks like one could climb on top, though that wouldn't be a good idea in front of that highway.
Good old Pennsylvania town names. Haha jugs that sounded dirty lol..
It hasn't been closed for that long. They were open in 2013.
I WANT TO TURN THAT THING INTO A HOUSE AND LIVE IN IT.
Its a geodesic dome. I live in a geodesic dome house. I have been told because of the shape and aerodynamics of the dome, it can withstand 200 mph winds. I don't want to test that theory.
I remember when this was open. I considered getting my wedding flowers through here, but it seemed like nobody was ever in to actually take a peek in person. That was September 2015, they closed shortly after.
IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A ROSES DEPT STORE.
This was about 20 min from where I grew up. My Dad used to get flowers for my Mom from here cause he worked in Pittsburgh. It's an old mom & pop flower shop with really nice owners and I think that's all it's ever been. It was still in operation as of '04 before my Dad got sick. I think a previous comment said it closed in '14/'15? That seems bout right to me.
Anyways Wallie, if you heading further North of here and need a person to go with you like you mentioned, let me know. I live in New Castle. If nothing else, we can hit up Shenango China! Take care bud!!
P.S. Keep up the great work!!
Go to Spaces Corners pa Armstrong county old school there... very cool... many old buildings in Armstrong that look cool
Not as odd as Intercourse, PA
I've been to Bud, WV.
Newfoundland and Labrador on Canada's Atlantic coast has Dildo.
Wallie, can't believe I didn't see this video and it's 2yrs old now. This was a little old lady that owned this place. She did sell flowers and roses, there. She was not open all the time, it was pretty much just on holidays such as valentine's day, mother's day etc. Inside the building all she really had was a table that had her money box on it and a credit card machine, and only two coolers for the flowers if I remember right, but not more then 3 coolers. That was all that was in there. She sold roses usually for $15 a dozen. Nice lady and the flowers were always great looking. Cool looking building for sure. I actually don't think the Roses Etc sign was up very long before she closed the place for unknown reasons to me. Hope this helps! Jason.
omg I used to live in zelie in the mid late 90's past that everyday! I swear you're following me. lol There was a lady that would always sit out front smoking lol
A geodesic dome. My mother's Grandfather went to MIT with the guy who designed the geodesic dome. He built the prototype of the Dome that is at Epcot Center on grandfather's farm. Right now the family has the dome in storage at MIT.
You don't see to many places like that
You should check out Playthings, Etc. outside of Butler. It’s a very unique-looking building, too.
That building looks like a Darth Vader mask
IT FN DOES!!!! VERY 🆒 !!!!
Yeah his helmet he wears.
I had a typo ..I meant Turleys Towing not turkeys!

Awesome and cool little abandoned flower shop Wallie!
Awesome little building
I used to pass that place everyday before I moved to Texas, I always enjoyed seeing it and zelienople is a beautiful little town.
My hubby said, he like to hang out with u. , to talk about midland pa he grew up. There thanks for yr time
That was a neat building
Too bad you couldn't take that little building back home with you. It'd probably fit in our yard😄🤗
Charming little place & a weird shape aswell.
Very unique looking building
HOLY CRAP YOU HAVE A SEMI COLON TATTOO!! I've been wanting one for quite a while haha
I always drive past that and i never understood what the fuck it was lol
Looks like somebody roofed some old school playground equipment lol
That building was really cool 👍👍☺
Interesting building design
What a unique little place! Thank you for such a great video.
There's an abandoned (well I think it's abandoned, it's hard to tell) dome shaped house like this building I have been in. It's got three domes connected however. The only time I've gone in it was once and it was only in the basement. Quite dingy and eery but I'm jusy saying these dome shaped buildings are sure a blast from the past now.
Right down the road from me
Certainly unique.
There is a house built not to far from me the same style construction. That's pretty cool wallie. Ha ha, you said jugs. Lol.
It's a funny shaped building, isn't it? Hehe! Reminds me of the crystal dome in that UK game show The Crystal Maze (well, one-half of it anyway).
JJMCB26 it reminds me of those plastic ball puzzles back in the 90s.
Cool! That is an interesting design!
Wallie, forgot to mention I really enjoyed this video!
Hello WallieB Great Video!
You made a really cool find here. Nice building, and sorry to see the florist shut down. It does look like a golf ball. TO me it looks like a closed Rose Bud. Too bad they are no longer open, nice place to get roses for Kayla.
Sometimes the biggest surprises like awesome places to film happen when you least expect it. Hope some one buys the place and maybe make it a flower shop or something again without changing the shape of the building.
Look forward to what else you have filmed on your latest adventures.
Great job on your videos that you have wallieb26
Very 70s.
Geodesic dome
Hey new subscriber. Thought you should get an update at the super Kmart in Warren Ohio. There is some pet show going on by the Garden Shop. Not sure when the hours of it are, but you might be able to get inside of the super k one last time before demolition
Looks like a giant dome
Cool building mate
Good. Video.
Blue Ball Pennsylvania is close to me
thanks for doing this, all the empty business, stores and houses makes me sad, but also interested in the how what who when owned these places and the history, i am a paranormal investigator and i like to drive around, and i have found some really cool abandoned houses and stuff
Great segment Wallie , I knew of a giant coffee pot restaurant just outside of Breezewood Pa. , I don’t know if it’s still there . I was born in Johnstown and we would pass by it on our way to Boswell from old route 30 ( Lincoln highway ) back in the sixties.
Great little video Wallie ..the building reminds me of a armadillo lol
Cool find dude!!!
I never knew it was abandoned oops and I drove past it everyday to school
Wallie, You need to visit downtown Aliquippa. Lots of old retail from the J&L hayday. I am sure Mayor Dwan would show you around!
Can I have an answer plz?
Cool place
😀 There is a place similar to that on Meremen Ave here in Asheville NC
That sounded dirty lmao 😂
Looks like one of those houses from Lord of the Rings. I thought a Hobbit was going to come out of that building. 😆 Pretty cool looking shop!
Jugs lol
LOL
Does someone still live in the back section? Curtains on the back window. Power still on.... Also, noting the satellite dish. Hmmm. 🧐. Wonder what that sign said originally. Looks like the current sign was an add on.
At least the economy is better under Trump
How about Blue Balls PA
Someone says there is maybe still one open in Virginia
watch out for ticks
Hey Wallie. I am planning to do Urban Exploration videos soon. Do you have any advice for me before I start?
CUTE KID
Wallie IS very cute yes !
Cool video Wallie. My wife's cousin first job out of seminary school was in Zelienople.
Does anyone know what the outro music is?
I would think the direct tv dish would be a good indicator that someone was living there at one point.
Wallie B why dont you go to places that are open for business
I cam do it with you I am an urban explorer too
Do u know if there’s any abandoned Chi-Chi’s near u? Just wondering if there is that would make a good video
Zelienople pa is it?
FN 1ST!!! 🆒 WALLIE!!!
First
This used to be a golf corse. Look at the sign, it clearly wasn't built for the shape of the Roses Ect sign, and it looks like a golf course in back, plus the shape of the building is a giveaway.
