i live in toledo and me and my wife would stop there to eat on our way to ocean city maryland all the time. havent been able to since 2017 though. she had medical issues the last few years and sadly has now past away last september. will always miss this place now.
@LQP it has been 11 months yesterday. But last month i took her parents and ashes to O.C to spread and got to stop there and see the changes for myself.....

This is my favorite Taco bell look, looks like straight out of Saved by the Bell! The taco bell near me is even more dated than this, using 1980s era decor. The restaurant had barely changed before they updated the exterior with the pink and purple 90s logo. Let's hope they keep the interior intact!
I used to have a Q107 (WRQX, Washington, DC) bumper sticker. It was from the late 80s. It used a pink and purple logo as well. Must have been a popular color combo back then.

Went to that Exxon for a bathroom break traveling to and from Michigan and Baltimore. I’m surprised that and the Taco Bell is closed on such a main thoroughfare. Wonder what the underlying issue is.
Unfortunately, the underlying issue is the same with most businesses there and they just can’t break enough of a profit in Breezewood anymore. People just aren’t stopping at these places like they used to and are more focused on getting on the road onto the I-76 (East or West)/I-70 (West) Turnpike or onto Route 30 or I-70 East. People have found other ways to go around Breezewood, and those that do decide to stop here typically stop at places like Sheetz that have both Gas and Food.

One in Anderson township Ohio moved and old one was demolished old taco Bell building Amelia Ohio sat abandoned until last year it was sold now it now sushi restaurant that just opened

This looks like a much older Taco Bell from the way it looks. I say this because the Taco Bell I worked at back home, before I moved, totally changed how they looked. I had forgotten how they used to look, they changed everything so much.

Yeah, I'd say Taco Bells closing is a bit of a rarity, in general. Usually older ones get renovated, or demolished. Most of them around me are newer locations, built in the early 00's or newer. I think the two oldest ones I know of are actually co-branded with KFC, and both have been around for a long time. One still has a lot of that 90's aesthetic on the inside, even though the outside has been renovated. The other one, I haven't been to in a while, but looking on Google Street View, a lot of that aesthetic seems to remain, and is also a strange layout...the KFC and Taco Bell are separate buildings, connected by some structure over the Taco Bell drive thru, the KFC has it's own drive thru. Never seen another one like it, that's for sure.
Ive eaten there the staff were very rude Didnt go back other than fuel there is no reason to ever stop in breezewood except documenting the failure of buisness 😂

Such a cool find. Sadly all of the Taco Bell locations by me have been renovated or demolished to make way for new locations in its place.
I remember when the Newark Ohio Taco Bell (Address is 1091 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055) looked like this. It got remodeled sometime between 2012-2014.
