It's been a long winter here already, on the Allegeheny Front. Boat shed completion work and sailing trips not happening. Your videos inspire me look forward to the work it takes for years of sailing ahead. (P-18 Surprise).
Thanks again for the video. Keep it up as long as you can with the videos. Good to see someone building and planning to sail the oceans in a small boat. It is a good thing for you and for the rest of humanity to follow. Eventually there be 100 000 subscribers. Keep doing what you are doing.
What I love about this project is how the steps are so manageable. No single increment of progress is daunting, and they just keep moving you towards completion. Thanks for sharing the journey!
Doing these DAILY vids must be taking significant extra time and/or eating into build time, So want ya to know that I've enjoyed each one and it's great to get a DAILY "fix". Thank you, sir!
I agree - the short format is very cool, but it also must be a killer for your time. Remember to breathe and spend some time with your fabulous family!!!
You got good content. I enjoy the longer videos. I do. These short videos ace cool because I get to see more of your build day to day but… Also, you going to put a boom track on your boat?
@@ocean_capable_small_sailboat gotcha! This right here is going to be built to the KISS method. Good stuff! PS, I found your build through Sven. (The old Swede….)

Great comment, thanks. Yes if I think about the project as a whole I start to get chest pains, lol. It has to be broken up into small wins.
I like these mini episodes, easy to find time to watch them.
Thanks, yes that makes sense.
Nice on the rope padeye!

Glad to hear it!
@@ocean_capable_small_sailboat if an 84 and 3/4 year old Sweedish guy can do it , you can!

Thanks, I've learned daily is just too much, haha.
Thank you for the entertainment!
My pleasure
Nice work!

Nice short video, easy to fit in my schedule!
Good to hear!
I'm really enjoying this short format, something to look forward to everyday. Good luck with the 10,000 subscribers Perry
Much appreciated

Thank you. It's a boom-free rig. If you look at pictures of Baluchon it'll be mostly the same as his rig.

Day 3 of commenting on OCSS daily builds!
How do you intend to replace the rope pad-eye when the rope chaffs through?
I have no concerns about it. There's nothing to chaff it.
👍😎👍
Are you sure that you put enough weights on the cover?😉
Yeah, normally I would just use the two little blue weights but this time because of the rope padeye it was quite difficult to close the gap.
Friendly comment.
