I am pretty sure the blower motor pulls the outside air through the filter then pass the motor then pass the coils and out through the vents it does not push the air through the filter
Did you read the whole comment I don’t understand where the confusion is at. Have you ever seen a central air conditioner unit the air gets pulled through the filter then passes the blower motor then goes to the coils same thing on a car. you might want to read a comment more thoroughly before you call somebody dumb.
Dropped a Microsoft surface pencil in the middle/passenger side air vent. Switched from front blow to foot blow and heard it fall. Anyone know where it would've dropped?? (2020 Chevy Colorado)
i'm not getting any audio from this video for some reason, i tried it in different web browsers and nothing. i tried other youtube videos and they're all workign fine, can you reupload?
Probably because the fan is not prone to dust and it is more efficient to push the air through the filter and rads instead of pulling it. Furthermore the fan noise is dampened by the filter and it is more silent in the cabin.
@@joshsmith2982 On any vehicle with a horizontally mounted cabin air filter with the blower motor mounted below the filter the air flow direction is down. Otherwise the blower motor would be full of dirt and debris.
If I use the circulation mode then this vent will be closed and the air goes through the grid next to it? Or where is the intake located for this mode usually?
so if I have a cabin filter in my car I don't really need an car air purifier right? I was thinking to get one because of all the ppl that come and go in my car in this Corona Virus bs time we're living...
Yes we do it’s not hard to get. -The air comes in through the inlet at base of windscreen -the flap is open when fresh air selected and closed when cabin recirculate is selected on the climate control panel -it then passes through an air filter to remove fine particulates and odours -the next stage is the Air conditioning evaporator to cool the air and remove moisture (the water flowing through the pipe was this) which is useful when de fogging windscreen -Last stage is the heating heat exchanger that uses hot engine coolent to heat the incoming air (the higher the temperature selected the more coolent will pass through heat exchanger) - The animation never showed it but there would more flaps after heat exchanger to direct treated air to desired location in the vehicle (dash vents, wind screen ect)
Music is too loud
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
even though i cant hear it
i can still understand it
Most of the vehicles I've seen have the filter mounted horizontally above the blower. This lay out might confuse some owners.
German cars usually have this kinda layout
Also, most vehicles do not run the air through the filter when recirculation is enabled.
Amazing video. That explains so much thank you.
That was great 👍🏾
Nice demonstration.
Very informative
Wow nice demonstration
The interior of that car is mint.
Great video, thanks!
Should the blower be positioned after the filter?
Except the music (melody) the (detailed) subtitles helped the most.
Just what I needed

You just said it pulls outside air through the filter then you also contradict yourself . Pretty dumb

Great video! Congratulations!
Doesn't seem to be anything like a Toyota

I'm sorry about the audio. This video was from Germany and had no audio.
Pls any help with my 2019 chrysler 300s , it seems no filter for the inside air circulation🤦
Superb
Why is not the filter before the fan ??? ...
Probably because the fan is not prone to dust and it is more efficient to push the air through the filter and rads instead of pulling it. Furthermore the fan noise is dampened by the filter and it is more silent in the cabin.
@Lansoy Romero The fan creates a higher static pressure on the push side, so the resistance of the filter is overcome easier.
On most cars the filter is mounted before the blower and not after (same as a hot air furnace in your home).
@@stevensevek6151 Yeah , but in this case the fan is not protected by dust and debris ... very bad designe.
Because it was easier to demonstrate in the video this way
excellent
That’s excellent
On most cars the cabin air filter filters the air before it enters the fan and not after...?
No

@@njsongwriter No.
nice

Under the glovebox
nice and big thanksss
this is the 3d, ONLY. But it can not explain correctly info about AC
Apparently, my car doesn't have a filter. Is that possible? What stops dirt entering?
Some cars are not even designed to take a cabin air filter so even if one was inclined to install one, there would not be anywhere to put it.
So the suction mouth sucks the air on the engine bay? Really?
How do the engine filters work
so if I have a cabin filter in my car I don't really need an car air purifier right? I was thinking to get one because of all the ppl that come and go in my car in this Corona Virus bs time we're living...
If you're concerned about viruses, you might want to spray some iodine on that cabin filter.
@@njsongwriter thanks
no sound......
It’s a simple filter but why too much money to buy ?
10 bucks you cheap ass
Be a dirt bag then 😂😂
Ohhhh begitu!!
how about air filter at the back of the van?... where can I usually locate it?...
It would depend on the year, make and model.
year 2000, nissan elgrand e50. I can't locate my air filter, I have low fan at the back.
I have not been able to reference a rear cabin air filter in your car, checking numerous sources. Have you changed the 2 in front?
Some luxury cars have one in front and one in back which is accessed in the trunk.
you are only an animator, but we don't understand without text.

Ever heard of Audio when making a video. If they can’t figure out audio with video how should I trust them with the filters?
ok, don't trust them then. Lol.
