Regarding the detail about the ssd: I don't know how widespread the issue shown by Jarrod in his video or if it's just the case of an early review sample, because in the disassembly made by laptop media, you can see that while they still use the 2242 ssd, they moved the post to fit double sided 2280 drives without issues and included an extender bracket of sorts so the factory ssd fits in the bigger gap. I ordered a LOQ 15 that should be arriving next week, so I'm genuinely curious as to which configuration I'll get. I'll link the laptop media video in case my description was unclear.

@@Aceminecraft21 Oh yeah, when it comes to gaming 16GB is enough, currently running cyberpunk 2077 on ultra with 16GB, which runs amazing. For editing (guessing video/photo?) it's usually enough too. For really big projects more than 16GB might boost the performance a little. But not needed at all. In short, 16GB is totally fine :)
Oh also, forgot to mention it. Im running cyberpunk on ultra on a different laptop than this one, but with 16GB ram. Didn't mean to imply this laptop can run cyberpunk on ultra
Although lenovo officially says 16GB, people have tried 32GB on ideapad laptops and they seem to work fine. So unofficially one can upgrade to 32gb, unfortunately I can't test this as I don't get sent products for testing
