Last couple of days before holidays so I’ve been trying to do a few bits in and around the goods yard.
It has made me realise how sparse some of the areas are - I really do need some figures, accessories and vehicles to create some realism. That’ll be a job for when I’m back.
I’ve also been testing out some scenery for the hillside up to the signal box. I’m still not fully decided on the finish I want, but I’ve got some time now to think about it!
As always, Thank you for watching.

Have a great holiday
The passenger view looks superb. Great work
Looks ace 👍🏻
You really are a master of your art. The layout looks great; have a lovely holiday.
Really liked the “passenger” view. Layout is looking great. Cheers Peter from downunder.
Superb layout. Enjoy the holiday.

Excellent video
The iPhone ride was great. Enjoy your holiday.
good vid great vlog layout looks good nice work keep up the cool vlogs thanks lee
Looking really good, and “the boss” is very impressed! You have set the bar high now so the boss is going to be looking over my shoulder telling me where I’m going wrong.
You said someone mentioned that a fence along the track to the signal box was not needed which I agree, the gate at the track entrance would probably be set back a vehicles length from the road, this gives the scene a little more interest than just a gate to a field.
Have a well earned break, Bill.
Layout looking great from a passenger’s point of view. Do like the sense of space and depth you have created. Enjoy your holiday and look forward to more progress into the Autumn.
A little bit of track ballast very lightly placed in a few areas of your new access road to the signal box would give the affect of small stones on the dirt road. maybe carried in by railroad personnel on accident. The layout is looking very nice. have a great vacation and see you when you get back.
Great update Andy, thank you again for sharing
Loved the passenger view too, gives a totaaly different feelbto the layout
Enjoy the break (just got back myself today from our family break) and woll catch up on your return
You should be very proud of yourself and your layout.
Your layout looks absolutely amazing. It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. I personally prefer the iPhone footage. And like someone mentioned already, be careful mentioning your not going to be around for a while. Cheers Eddie
Hi love the Go-pro look of the town and all, to have this amount done in about a year, is just one of WOW...thank you for the time and views.
Absolutely stunning have good holiday can’t wait until next video
Layout is looking good but never tell people you are going away on holiday, there are too many scumbags around. Same as Facebook always post the holiday pictures afterwards, never let people know no ones home.
Enjoy your holiday. AND be proud of what you have it's amaze ing. Personally i don't see any faults with the "passenger view" maybe some more tree's against the back scene. The hill side is the perfect backdrop to the curve. Looking back over the lower section is another feature. The new section is coming along fine, its after 5pm and the workers have all gone home. The hill side by the signal box just needs trees or maybe an orchard (you can get fruit trees) with workers picking the crop. This layout will be featured in the Hornby Magazine and win many awards for the craftsmanship in the modelling.
The funnel why not use Velcro ? Or a magnet . You may have to make a reases in the base board . But if you catch it you won't brake it .
Looking good
Love it mate. Quality layout. Could you let me know where you get your back scenes? They look great. Thanks
Why not paint the whole ceiling and walls in a skyscape? Have a great vacation.😊
