Its nice and relaxing with a cuppa and seeing place's ive never seen or see what they look like now xxx 😍💞💙 Last time i was in the Lake District 1978 Great story about the french student.. Love those. Xxx
Just happen to find your videoes from Norway. Then went on to watch your old once. With great pleasure i relize you are geocachers. So are we.. geocaches while travelling in our little green trailer on weekends and holidays.. we do a lot of wildcamping in Norway and some in Sweden. I am now enjoying your UK travells.
Thank you for sharing your experiences in the NV200. I'm eagerly awaiting to take delivery of one that's being converted as I type this message, hopefully after Christmas. 2022 will be an even more adventurous year than this one. 😊
We went there in spring and it was quiet and beautiful as was the weather. Only 1 1/2 hours from home as well. We look forward to more visits. Love watching you both.many thanks 🙏
Excellent video, as usual. We camped in that NT carpark (at the end of Wast water) a couple of years back when we climbed Scafell Pike. Its was in the hottest summer on record and seemed to take forever to get up there. Well worth it though.
Thanks for making your videos. I enjoy the pace, humour, information, landscapes, camera work, editing honesty and practical small van tips. I'm waiting for my small BYD T3 electric van to be delivered and imagining what it will be like to get out and travel around Western Australia, where I've lived for 30 years but always been busy with other stuff. I've watched a few episodes but now have started from the beginning. Stay safe, and happy camping. :)
Hi Steve. I had to look up the BYD T3 as I had not heard of it. That is an impressive range for an electric van. I spent loads of time working myself into the ground so I agree get yourself out there and enjoy that beautiful country. 👍
@@LifeistooshortCK I've started a blog/diary of the process and might put a few slideshows together once the van arrives maybe next month. Waiting is the hard part :) bydt3campervan.wordpress.com Nothing flash, but hopefully the actual information might be of value to some :)
Ditto, on "I enjoy the pace, humour, information, landscapes, camera work, editing honesty and practical small van tips". You two making wonderful videos.😊💖
Hi Daisy Mae. Thanks for watching. It can be a different story in the big towns and cities. The M25 motorway that encircles London often comes to a standstill because there is so much traffic 😆
Great spooky story and all the road shots are amazing, I love them! :D Any kind of water pleases me but in this Wast Water, I might worry who catches my leg. XD Oh, the pants-talk was funny! "we are on camera" XD Yeah, same here with my family, always talking when I make the greatest shots of history! XD Cheers to them! :D bear hugs, Kata
How are you feeling about all the negativity around wild camping at the moment? Seems a lot of people who have not been wild camping before coronavirus have found out they like it but are not camping responsibly. So hope it does not ruin it for campers and a whole lot of new restrictions come into play
The negativity due to fear of Covid was awful to see. Lots of people live full time in their vans and they were treated badly. We leave no trace as most do. Most of the rubbish we see comes from takeaway food containers and they are not wild campers. The world has become negative so its nice to get out in the van and just ignore it 👍
Life is too short so true! I read about the full timers, it was so awful for them. Rubbish is everywhere now, I go on a local walk with my litter picker and bag, it’s amazing what I pick up on a 5k walk! Your right to just go out in your camper and forget what’s going on, good advice.
Hi Ethan. Thanks for your comment. We have certainly forgiven John Paul Jones as his statue remains in fine condition 😁. We drove on your highways through LA once, it scared the life out of me with so many lanes and cars 😏. Beautiful part of the world, we had a great time 👍
@@LifeistooshortCK I'm enjoying watching because my wife and I are purchasing a Recon Camper (ruclips.net/video/VLVcZpmuzMs/видео.html), also based on the NV 200. It was supposed to be built next month, but COVID-19 has put a pause on that! Oh well...I'll just continue to live vicariously through you. BTW, you should see the freeways here now. Nothing but smooth sailing!
That Recon Camper will be brilliant. This crisis will pass like all the others have. Lets hope we can get back out there this year. All the best with the van build. 👍
Hi great vid. I commented on part 1 aswell. You have made me want to go to the laje district. I am thinking of getting an NV 200. Is it good for longer distance please? Thanks
Bret Jackson we just took it from England to Spain and back no problem. If it was not for Corona virus shutting things down we would still be on that trip 👍
@@LifeistooshortCK hopefully this corona virus will pass soon and things will be back to normal. Thanks for your reply. I will get myself an NV 200 soon. Enjoy your future trips and we'll done on your great vids. Cheers. Bret
Hi, just discovered your vlogs, we have just purchased a vw camper and looking forward to our future adventures. One question, what do you do about toilet?
just found you yesterday love your channel and will be following your journeys thankyou for all the videos very inspiring for me and yes you are a joy too listen too also
@@LifeistooshortCK just finished your first journey around lakes etc, one question you managed alot of wild camp nights, how did you organise toilet facilities?
You two are so well suited and seem to truly enjoy each others company, warts and all! A joy to see people so well suited 💕
If we were not this van just wouldn’t work 😁👍
Ooh I'm watching from beginning as I've enjoyed what I seen so far
Great vid guys x

Carol is the geocacher and she does quite a bit. I used to but gave up. 😁👍
Wow we love geocaching xxxxx
Not done much this year 🙁

I have a police pension plus its not really an expensive thing to do after you have the van. 👍
