HI Pooja, I'm the biggest fan of your Editing and vlogging skills. I'm so glad you addressed this topic finally. Even I was so sick of people making 'new immigrant life' comments on your channel. Lol. There are so many people who make mediocre quality videos and talk about immigration in Canada on RUclips but viewers need to understand that you are a lifestyle vlogger and your content is completely different. I absolutely love your videos. You do you Pooja. I love to see your channel growing and you deserve it.

Pooja - the problem is a lot of Indian PR/students to Canada who are RUclipsrs have kinda similar videos and content. Walmart/Dollarama, apartment/house hunt, PR stuff etc etc. Also they do a lot of videos regarding PR related content, jobs in certain cities, provinces - it's kinda repetitive in most cases. That's what a lot of people who are interested in Canada (whether they are planning to apply to go there or not) expect. There are a few that are different like yours and those are the ones that I like to watch.

You made me tear up Pooja. I came to Canada as a student, have a job now and have started my own digital venture too. I am new to all this and sometimes it gets too much, but then I remember that nothing comes easy. Your passion needs hardwork and sacrifice. 🌸

Well, Pooja One thing is for sure, the time you spent on youtube rather than spending on a JOB that you don't like was definitely a good decision as the hard work that you put in upskilling yourself and planning and shooting good content is clearly visible in your videos.
Your Vancouver videos really hit the spot, I was in such awe to see these rather beautiful and amazingly shooted videos for free. Your channel is definitely worth at least a Million Subs and this is coming from a big-time youtube watcher :)...
Finally, I just want to say this, JOBs are not bad like 9-5 in companies are not bad it's actually amazing if you earn that job and excel at it and are also happy while doing it. It's just doing what you think is best for you and making an informed decision.

This video is so relatable. I live here in Canada too and whatever you shared is very true. I have been here for 7 years and still I feel the same about living away from family and every day is a new struggle. Your point about finding real friends is true as well. Still unable to find friends in this country whom you can call at any time day or night.
All your bad points that you mentioned are correct and I would totally agree with you.

This video was soooo relatable. I was in the process of moving to Canada when I came across your channel. It was kind of cool to see you reflect in the video because it took me back to those times as well in each clip. When I was trying to learn as much as I could about Toronto and Canada in general. You helped me acquaint myself with Toronto and it's incredible to see how far you have come. I always find new places, new restaurants and much more in your videos. They're incredible suggestions btw.

Hi Pooja, I caught you in RUclips on day number one, when you arrived in Canada. Since then I look forward to, what you have to say in every episode. About those who do not like your videos, for what ever reasons they can choose, there are so many videos where they can fit themselves in. My children who also will enter this country [by Express Entry] but got delayed by Covid, I could picture their lives through you. As you say everyone is different, circumstances are different but many values will be similar. So go on with your life, document it, not thinking much about those who cannot fit into the lifestyle and life you lead, good luck

Totally relatable! I'm in the US and I'd add a layer of immigration uncertainty to the cons. People are always busy, real friends are rare, the distance and being away from family sucks and never gets too easy, but the pros you stated are true...including great infrastructure, lesser pollution and more accessible nature to explore ! This video was well made ...the first part was really well done before the pros and cons bit. You shot and edited it well and the voice over went perfectly!

I have been watching ur vlogs from the time u were packing to leave India. I have seen your whole journey for the past 2 1/2 years. I have seen how u broke down missing your family and how you struggled to live ur job to follow ur passion. There are few utubers I watch after sometime I find they are not as passionate as before and there vlogs become boring and fake . Even with ur once a week vlogs are great since u put in a lot of effort and add a lot of value to it that I enjoy watching it. People are normally very judgemental and compare their lifestyles to others. Unfortunately when u moved to Canada u attracted a different type of subscribers. Just keep doing what you are doing in the long run u will succeed with the right minded subscribes. Canada has become ur adopted country in a few years time u will feel totally at home once u are fully settled.

Canada has a very, very significant and visible Indian community, probably the highest numbers of immigrants in Canada are Indians, followed by Filipinos and Chinese. This is very obvious when walking down the street, the stores also offer a great variety of Asian products and foods as well as services that cater to this minority. The reality is that Indians will have an easier time integrating in Canada than other minorities due to a sense of community. Their presence is definitely unmistakable in Canada.

Hey Pooja, I totally connected with your video. What I feel is now-a-days, some people feel till the time you are not just struggling, eg. not going out anywhere, thinking of buying a coffee/food, or if you are not doing 2 jobs as an immigrant, you are not struggling. But I totally feel you. And you are totally amazing and doing great. Lots of love

i came to canada expecting myself to have a stable career from a major i picked in college but then i met awful people in college and my teacher bullied me. it made me hate my major and then the pandemic happened and during my time in the pandemic, i quit my major and decided to focus on other passions of mine. i now feel like i’ve done a lot of bucket list memories so far which i’ve always wanted to do that would’ve held me back if i had a stable job. i also don’t have any friends because i can’t trust people here, i don’t like foreigners.

I agree with all your points 😊 My immediate family is here in Canada with me but my extended family is back home in Africa. Canada has its good and bad but the opportunities are plenty. Also, customer service here is better than back home, most times.

I started watching your channel at the start of 2020 and that is the time when I planned to move to Canada and today marks my one year here and as I watched your 2.5 yr journey I felt I was watching my own journey in some way. But you and Saransh have come a long way and there's more to go. I agree with every point covered in this video and I just wish you guys all the best and hope your channel grows more and also wish that someday I and my partner meet you and can just appreciate your hard work!! 👏🏻😇🌟🎉🎊🥇
    Great work Peekapoo, always!

The busy schedule is true in every country. Be it India or outside. When both partners are working and managing house at the same time, people tend to be very busy.
But i also feel making time for friends is also about priorities. If your friend is your priority you will make time for that person ! Also, that's a trait you should look out for when making friends. 😊

Very touchy, I relate to every point you mentioned here , you do grow as a person here ,learn to live independently , learn to respect every one but you never make real friend here . I never felt the same how I felt about my friends back home. Also, I do think everyday , how would it be it live so far from my people when I grow old :( Story of my life for past 11 years in United States.
