I used to watch this channel and liked it initially . Whatever these guys are saying and showing it’s not true. We are living in Canada for last 8 years and no way you can afford this lifestyle unless both are working in good jobs like IT. There is no harm spending or taking help from parents but don’t show fake content to mislead people.
Sorry I do not agree with you that $7500 is standard in Canada. Its all about living style and the location you are living. Your expenses are super crazy and its bizarre.
Hey Pooja. Great video as always 😊. Your videography skills have improved so much. Great work! I note that a lot of the expenses you have mentioned are mandatory- like the property tax and maintenance fees for your neighborhood. There’s no escaping that. Hopefully the taxes might be revised soon 🤞 Suggestions for you guys: 1. get rid of the gym fees since you don’t really use the gym. I remember that your basement is still unfinished so in the time being, you can buy gym equipment (either brand new or used) and use those instead. There are foldable treadmills that you can get which won’t occupy so much space or even an exercise bike and use it in the garage or basement. Then hopefully when you guys save up enough to finish the basement, it can be an exercise room and/or movie room 😊 2. Try and order in or eat out maximum 3 times a month. That will save you so much. I know there are days when you’re too tired to cook so what I suggest is keeping the frozen fruits and veggies to make smoothies. Or makes sure to have Maggi noodles in stock. They’ll come in handy 😬 3. The life insurance you’re paying is quite high. I spend about $105 for one person. So maybe look around for better policies. 4. Stop leasing a car - unless it’s a lease to own option. If you won’t own the car in 4yrs time, I don’t see the need for the lease and would recommend actually buying a car. That’s just my two cents. But thanks so much for sharing this with us 😊😊
Mann this video is contraversal. I love it at first, but I do understand why a lot of people find this fishy. Before u guys were paying 2k a month for your condo or something along those lines and plus your lifestyle/expenses etc, so let's assume you guys spent about 4-5k monthly back then. Now with the house/car/luxuries etc you're spending 7500. Like that's honestly a lot. Also, the mortgage is VERY effy. I'm a 6 figure earner and if I wanted to buy a house, my mortgage person told me for the townhouse in oakville, I'd need 300-400k downpayment and even with that, my mortgage would be 3600 bucks. Not to mention, that's with B lender. Not with having your mortgage with the bank, which means you either put 500-600k downpayment, which also kinda makes no sense when the townhouse you guys bought were pre constriction which means u most likely bough tit in entirety because u guys wouldn't be able to get a bank mortgage with you being self employed and your husbands income (The average income a couple needs to make now to even have a CHANCE to get a mortgage is 200k. No way are you making that with youtube and your husbands career (also to add, I know she had her part time job before she went full time, but still. Not reaching 200k combined because she'd have to do a lot more work which would be hard to balance with youtube) I don't know. I get why people are spectulating, and I personally would have wanted more honesty if you're going to expression how much a couple spends in Canada. Your fan base has a lot of immigrants, and like many said, they see you guys as inspiration/motivation (even I was motivated by you guys to get a home) but be honest. Your youtube income on social blade shows you'd make Max 3k a month and you only post about 2 videos a week, so how are u contributing to the joint account for equal amounts with your husband AND your own expenses? I don't know, things just seem fishy, but either way, thanks for the video.
It's all fake, their combined income would be 6K per month maximum. Anyone who is living in Toronto and knows the realities of the job market and the pay grade here, knows what's the money people make. It's a highly highly misleading video
So to the point!! Its all exaggerated jus for views.. but its more doing damage demotivating ppl. With no clarity on their earnings except where and what they work. And if we go by that, anybody can make out what they are earning. We are family of 3 in Toronto, in townhome rent for 2500, rest all expenses are same but less in value ofcourse. Still v are done by $5000.. Concluding, except editing part, video is illusion.
I too think they could make smarter financial choices, however you are not taking into account the income she gets from paid promotions/ sponsors. Sponsors now a days pay a lot of money for marketing their products and I do see her promoting quite a few brands. Promotions are actually the major chunk of income of RUclipsrs
You are right they put down more then 400k for down payment they said in the video that they sold there house in india which was given by parents as wedding gift and bought house here plus they have income in india also family income
Pooja, you have to accept that there are other sources of income which you have kept secret with the audience, but kindly don't think the audience are stupid or foolish. Few things which you have to work on: 1. You have to request socialblade people to increase your monthly income as it displays upper range of only CAD 2400/- 2. Also ask Saransh to find a job which is paying more, I am sure he is still working with Rogers as it happens to be the first organization offering him a job. You also have to find a job as just by sitting at home and thinking about a video for 2-3 weeks is not going to be good. 4. You love zara shopping and travels (recent Vancouver) which is also not going to be good for the level of expenses you have. 5. And last accept the fact, and then if you want, then share with us about the money you have been receiving by your indian relatives. Rest all is gonna be good👍
Life Insurance is a big expense for you, but I think you can save on groceries / ordering in by shopping from different stores. A few stores like superstore and no frills even allow price matching for groceries.
People in India watch your channel and get fascinated that they can also have a good life in Canada as like other youtubers. They feel like if you can do it they can too and fall in the trap. I feel sorry to see the condition of most young Indian students here in Canada these days. I feel like you should show the real life and situation here in Canada and how difficult it is to get a high paying job in Canada. Irony is that most fall into the trap and their parents spend most of their life savings to send their kids here in hope of a dream life they will never get.
Woww - that’s $90,000 per year…! 😲 I am a little confused - lol! I’d definitely skip the gym membership (you can dance around at home or go for brisk walks!) and the public transit (you only go downtown once in awhile, and you own a car!) Just my meagre two cents! Enjoying your videos and honesty! Hello from Scarborough! ❤️
Gosh! You guys overpay on every single thing be it phone or car or insurances or electricty/water/gas etc you guys have not shopped enough it seems. We have been here in Canada for the same time as u guys and are new home owners too but i see a Huuuuuuge difference! You can join the community center instead of a gym, they are pretty dam good! I think the numbers are pretty misleading for new comers.
Would be nice if you can do a snippet on how you manage expenses. Maybe just the sources of income without going in to specifics of earnings. Just bc I see viewers complaining about inaccuracy on expenses especially compared to your careers and how it might be misleading
You both should do a ‘no spend’ month challenge. I think that will be an interesting video to watch for your subscribers. No take out coffee, no dining out or take out food, no shopping, no travel…are you up for the challenge? 😉
Leasing a car for 4 years? This might be the most silly financial thing I have heard in a while. We know it’s your life, and you can chose the way you live, but the expenses you shared are beyond insane. I will strongly suggest to check videos on personal finance. At the end, we all wish the good for you.
230 dollars are for ur iPhones, this doesn’t comes in monthly expenses, it’s something which you buy on your own wish..It doesn’t come in household expenses
First Pooja and Sarang, good luck with your Vlogs. Your content presentation is very interesting. But, to be precise, If you are paying between 3,000-3,500 per month for the mortgage for 30 years, since you pay a 35% down payment, with 2% interest(which is high), your house should be between CAD 1.3 Mil to 1.4 Mil (Which is a very high amount to have a townhouse in Oakville. (Point 2- 40% of your monthly expensed comes to CAD 2,784 to be precise as per the explained expenses) Point 3: As per the whole video, in order to cover your monthly expenses, you both should earn at least CAD10,500 (Before taxes), I am not able to understand your income, but if Sarang is contributing at least 50% of the expenses, he should earn at least CAD 33 per hr or Annual 65K income which is a Manager's income in Telus. (May be he should be, if so Congratulations!). But I feel he is contributing more, which means his income should be at least 100k per year. Point 4 : $700 for food? and also without food from Ubereats? Unbelievable. Me and my wife can't spend even $500 per month even after eating everything we like. Point 5 : Car insurance and Lease is somewhat accurate and you guys should have Finance the vehicle instead of lease, then at the end of 4 years, you will own the car. Moreover, you guys are renting Internet Access points for 3 floors for $10 each? Are you serious? You can buy branded 3 AP’s from Amazon for less than $100 and own it and it will have work at least 2-3 years. I can point out many more inaccurate content in this video guys. However, if someone from IRCC sees this video, they are gonna catch you guys for discouraging immigrating to Canada. Plus be careful of CRA too guys. Good luck for your future Vlogs and please be more accurate and down to earth like your old content.
Haha you analytics are so clear 🍾🍾 I hope this couple was very honest in their very first videos when they arrive in Canada. But now they are very misleading. They are trying to show off I guess. Please come back old honest couple… in my country politicians in the Opposition party also the same. They say maximum incorrect numbers of the expenses doing by the government. Hahaha. Be honest guys otherwise you will loose youtube income by loosing subscribers 🤣🤣
@@aneeka26 You are right !! Instead of buying such an expensive house in far off Oakville, where clearly they are not happy,(they repeatedly keep saying they miss their downtown life) it would have been wiser on their part to buy a smaller size house closer to downtown !!
This is a huge expense Pooja and Saransh … U can def cook at home instead of ordering lunch and eating so much outside and gym membership these can easily save U upto 1000$
they moved from renting a house to renting a car. A used 2010-2015 car would have costed them half the price plus they would keep the car as long as it functioning. And she wanted a tesla?? Talk about materialistic girl.
@kavi R You must be acquainted with her. That is why u concluded that she is materialistic. Wow. If we can't say anything encouraging, we shouldn't say anything negative about someone. Ciao!
@@Ottawavlogs I guess you have the wrong definition of FACTS. First and foremost, it's their life. Allow them to do what makes them happy. But how can calling someone materialistic based on a video be called a fact. Voila!
Me and my husband we bought a house in Vancouver and I can totally relate to you the starting of the vedio about who will pay what .we also have a joint account and different chequing and savings account.. Our monthly expenses including car, mortgage, utilities, grocery, travel, comes out to be 5500. You guys are doing a great job, love your content.
3 comments that I wanted to make, some from a long time and some after watching the video: 1). I love your vidoes, you have a great aesthetic sense, music choice, fashion sense, editing sense, your videos are absolutely delightful to watch, no one can deny that. 2). I hate that your videos are so inconsistent, you are a full time RUclipsr still I feel, you dont take this seriously, there are no fixed timelines that you follow, you only do 1/2 videos a week ( that too not on fixed days), no matter what you say, I am not willing to buy that shooting and editing 5 videos a month takes 7 - 9 hour days a week, so you spend 270 hours approx to come up with 5 videos, not gonna buy that! It just makes me feel that you are not serious enough, nobody can enjoy such relaxed timelines (as per our whims and fancies) at a real job! So like other ppl mentioned in the comment, this is just a part time job for you. You also mentioned you order lunch from outside everyday, saransh helps you equally in cooking or other household chores so it's not like that takes up all your time. Because you are so inconsistent makes me want to unsubscribe you so many times because I feel you don't respect your viewer's time but your content keeps me hooked. 3). I checked Glassdoor to check average salary for Saransh and it would be around 70k-80K dollars( net in hand would be much lesser post tax etc. , how are you spending minimum 90k dollars per year, then add to it your shopping for your home, yourself, eating out very often and going on luxurious trips like Niagara or Aruba or Maldives, which itself is pretty pretty expensive, numbers just don't add up. So love your content, but don't believe you completely! Thanks! Absolutely a fan of your videos, don't mean to hate, just honest criticism, obviously you have the right to not disclose personal things, but you can call it out.
Agree totally with your 2nd point. She just keeps us waiting endlessly for her vlogs which aren't even posted once a week !! Also regarding their income , since Saransh has a family business back in India, i am sure that he gets a share from the profits every month from there. Otherwise it would be next to impossible to lead such a luxurious life like theirs with only that much income !!! For their meals when they don't order from outside, it is Saransh who does all the hard work like chopping of veggies and she only stirs the pot !!
@@nahidkhan5941 I think she does more than stirring the pot but Saransh definitely contributes equally to household chores plus he works a full time job plus he helps her with filming and shooting her videos, so she can atleast post more vidoes or post those 2 videos / week regularly and be honest that they do have other sources of income, they can choose to not reveal them or how much each source contributes, else this video is misleading!
@@sanesharma7138 Yes you are right !! Besides his full time job Saransh takes out time not only to help in the household chores but also in filming her vlogs !! Such a sweet husband !!
Our mortgage is only $1687 inc. Taxes a month here in Peterborough ON. Thats why you dont by in a big city with higher average home prices. We paid 359900 for our home 2 years ago. We can easily get over 500 wirhing 2 years. Lots of equiry in a cheaper but rapidly growing market
Yeah, and who says everyone wants to stay 1.5-2 hours away from Toronto. I can go north of Keswick and buy something cheaper than what you purchased within the same distance from Toronto. It's a personal preference and lifestyle choice. Not everyone wants to live in the middle of nowhere :)
@@supportworld but then dont complain about not being able to afford living in the city. The city for me is a place to visit once a month and then get the heck out. With money I save from living just outside the city I can visit whenever. It doesnt get boring cause I dont live there in a million dollar shoe box
Well, ppl who live and buy property within the GTA obviously can afford it. They never complained about not being able to afford it. They are living in a house they purchased. It's mostly folks who want to live but have to settle further out (+2 hours) complain. Anyway, living in/near or out does not matter. If you are happy living in Peterborough, ON, that's your place! Cheers :)
$600 grocery that too NOT including eating out!!!! wow, you guys are some millionaires. You probably shop from the most expensive places like Longos or Loblaws. We're the no-frills/Walmart gang LOL.
I would say if these guys have controled on some expenses that could have detached house in same locality..... According to my thinking no hash commenting...
They aren’t alone here. Even we spend around $800 dollars for groceries. We love to try everything in the supermarket. We are a family of 2 and we are not millionaires. Both of us are working.
@@taranjotkaurbedi8056 why I commented is because I myself have seen a difference in overall grocery bills when I shop from stores like longos versus a walmart or no name. With increasing grocery prices, it's just a suggestion if they're looking to save some money on groceries (while enjoying all luxuries in the supermarket).
Although their expenses are 7500 and half of it is a mortgage, there is not much room to save. having said that they still can safe 500-800$ if they shop around, but the list is almost accurate and I like the presentation of this video, it's fun and engaging. I also agree with other commenters that there is no way that the income they are earning in Canada can afford this comfortable life with multiple international trips. They should reveal their incomes ( not exact but a ballpark figure) so that this number doesn't mislead those who are trying to come and settle in Canada.
True plus they said it does not include there personal expenses which can be 1000$ each for them. We all know they are well off in there family which is fine. But don’t tell people u get money from canada they have basic jobs that’s all.. they paid 350k for house down payment
Not to the point at all!! Its all exaggerated jus for views.. but its more doing damage by demotivating ppl. With no clarity on their earnings except where and what they work. And if we go by that, anybody can make out what they are earning. We are family of 3 in Toronto, in townhome rent for 2500, rest our all expenses are same like them but less in value ofcourse. Still v are done by $5000.. Concluding, except editing part, video is illusion.
Why in the world I will list down all my expenses for views? Like really? And how is this video doing any damage? I clearly mention these are our expenses, not somebody’s else. Everyone’s life is different isn’t it? Why generalize? I’m sure there are people spending less or more than this but everyone’s lifestyle, priorities are different isn’t it? If we were all the same - we would be robots right? Also - why do I have to share how much I or saransh earn? This is not a finance channel. I just made this video for fun and I clearly mention - THESE ARE OUR EXPENSES. Only ours. Not saying this is how much everyone spends or should spend. There’s no financial advice or planning happening here. I hope it’s clear 😊
It's NOT exaggerated. Let's compare for simplicity: A. Renting Vs Owning including utilities, maintenance, HI, PT: ~2500 vs ~4500 B. Internet, Phone, Subscriptions (~350. It is what it is) C. For Car: ~900 (Note Oakville is far) D. Groceries+Repairs: ~850 E. Yes, Life Insurance ~400, Gym ~136, Extra ~400 on Transportation (~900) could be reduced. Overall, this is not exaggerated. So, if you ignore Point E, Peekapoo spends ~1050 per person while other spend ~833 per person because of different lifestyle. This is apt and gives very good understanding to manage the finances.
gosh! How did you end up with a 130 dollar monthly cell bill (i guess it includes your iphone) but I spend 40 dollars per month on 10 GB data unlimited calls all over Canada for the 1st year and 50 for the following. No contract. As you said your video, definitely reconsider uber eats pass, your gym membership (invest it in dumbells, a good treadmill (who wants to hit the gym in snow....thats 7 months of the year). Do you have a basement bedroom ish? Put it up for rent or Airbnb it out (although I know its hard since you are pretty much a youtube personality by now). My two cents worth, i know you all have obviously thought of all this and more by now.
No offense, but this is what they land up spending every month after they have made a huge down-payment towards their house which is completely not their savings. Imagine if they had to save for down-payment and live a life based on takeout and latest phones. I m few years old to Toronto and own a townhouse and clearly see u can manage in less and save too . Again it's their life spend it all u want .. as they know for rainy days they have people to fall on for. People outside Canada might find it true to reality . I feel lots have been lost and depicted quite a rosy picture.
They are a lifestyle vlogger so they need to show a different lifestyle so immigrants should not look at them as an inspiration. But agree, she could have been truthful about their finances. No wonder a ton of people are pointing it out
If you guys notice she didn give the actual amount of morgage she pays coz she doesn’t pay it..she owns the house… Their parents must have helped them purchase the house…These videos gives wrong msg to the new comers..she is not working there is no way they can afford all this..DONT FOOL PEOPLE
@@arjunsharma1328 it's a clarification so that all new comers take this video with a pinch of salt and my comment will push them to research more as if those expenses are they needed , can we go around, can we also own a house in two years of immigrant life with no saving of ours , can we afford to get jobs that can let us spend 8000 cad monthly if you are moderately employed without external financial help.
This is bizarre expenses without much financial planning. If someone really wants to see that, then potato talkies are the guys you should follow. This lifestyle probably sees 0 savings and of course; it helps that their families back home are well off. I bet the combined income itself is barely reaching $7-8k
I agree !!! This is like giving wrong information to the people who wants to go there , as they would think we can do this easily !!! But its really tough for normal two earning members to have this life !!! They are spolits who want to show off their life on their parent’s income !!! The personal accounts their parents send money to that!!! And its pretty obvious they way pooja dominates saransh she is like v v over confident spoilt girl .

hey pooja , according to my views these are the miscellaneous things the gym memerbership , the subscriptions that you have taken like netflix, amazon prime, spotify. and you can also learn to do car wash by yourself where you can save some amount of money . and ofcourse try to control from eating outside . i really hope with this you can save some amount of money .
Hello Pooja, I love the way you film, the amount of work you put into your videos is commendable. it's very refreshing and your audience keeps coming back for more. your expenses seem quite reasonable to me given that you own a house worth around 600k and have to pay mortgage on that. Also the $3500 increase in your expenses is attributed to you owning a house (which will appreciate in value) and a car (which will depreciate in value but of course is convenient)
Hi its Tom from Greece. Your video was excellent and very informative it kept my attention watching the video both times. Things havent changed since the time I moved from Toronto to Athens (1989) the cost of living was as high percentage wise. Keep your positive thinking high and enjoy what you do.
So many expenses , which i felt was if no use, like gym membership, 400$ for transportation, even though u have your own car. Also uber eats pass, lol i heard it first time, who has it😂 u guys must be earning good to waste most of your money.
I got to know about the pass from this video Amazing pooja and family you guys are expensive.... This is bang on!! 🙌🏾 This is the bare minimum these days. I don’t know why people are discussing alternatives…Ofcourse some costs will be up and down. These are their fixed costs. So to live in this kind of lifestyle you need a minimum of $90k plus more for entertainment & vacations etc.
I’m NOT an immigration channel nor I’m making videos for new immigrants. 🙏 I’m sharing my life, my thoughts, travel, food etc things I love. I’m not saying this is how much everyone should spend. ? I thought her verbiage was pretty clear..Spend as per 'your' income , she isn't suggesting anyone to buy a house in Oakville only. Most people like them have similar expenses. I think the viewers can't stand that they are beyond the grassroot struggles. What a shame!
I see some judgement towards the numbers not being reflective of reality. Sure, this is not meant to be a yardstick for new Canadian home owners. This is their story and I don't see them claiming this has to be everyone else's too. If they've reached this point, pretty sure they can manage their expenses along the way. Good luck guys!

she kept on saying she bought a car (even has a video titled as such), but they are renting the car. Buying is when you have the title to the car, which they don't. Stop spreading lies.
When you get a loan from the bank for the car and u have the title. Who owns the car? The bank or u? When u lease the car 4 years at the end of the term you can buy the car out for the remainder value or get a new car the old car in return. If you don't understand the system don't call someone names.
@@soni-soniLegally you own the car and at the end of the financing period, you paid for it in full. Using your logic, they shouldn't claim to be the owner of the house then since the bank has a lien on the house? Btw, what I stated is a fact and the truth. They put themselves out and shouldn't just expect just rosy comments. Adding the cost of capital (at this point, likely 65-80% of the mortgage payment), car lease, gas, insurances, property tax, it's probably double the $2,000 they were paying in the rent down the drain. They can do whatever they want and as they please and I'm also using my free speech. If they can't take these facts and want to twist the truth, they should grow some thick skin as they are putting themselves in public and people will have opinions whether they want it or not, and we are in a free country to express ourselves.
You guys have such a misconceptions about leasing a car. Leasing doesn't mean renting a car. Leasing works the same way as financing. The only difference is that after your lease term ends, you get an option to either return your car or pay off the remaining balance cqlled buyback amount which they provide you in your contract. I'm sure when you rent a car from enterprise, they don't give you buyback option.

I’m paying $70/month for the same and unlimited data. Lol! Anyway I’m not here to downgrade just want to say these are not “basic survival” expenses at all. This is misleading for a lot of immigrants.
Nothing adds up. They are not wise at all. They are stupid. I am sorry to use the word but that’s what it is. My son who is 22 has this thought process and that’s because mommy and daddy are there. Once you have to do everything on your own you will smarten up.

It’s okay! It’s their choice! They’re just sharing whatever they can. If you really want to suggest, send her an email instead of boasting about your financial expertise in the comments section. I have my opinions too. But it’s not worth talking about, in the comments section. Pooja & Saransh - My wife and I follow every vlog and we love how you present yourselves. Keep that going. And just ensure you don’t exhaust all your money. You should be good. Thanks.
Guys I hate to say this... But you are spending way too much where it is not required 😂 house mortgage is not an expense it's an investment. Rent is an expense. Soon you will rent this house and move to a downtown condo paying rent again 😉
Awesome fun video guys. So that's CAD 90,000 a year. Which is for 2 people and lets say that 75-90k is a good salary for an individual. Wow, that is a lot. But you guys just moved to a new house so you are bound to save some money in a few months and bring your expenses down.
Pooja!!! You can save on your account fees by keeping one joint chequing account for bills and 2 savings account for each of your personal. Also, you can combine your home and auto insurance for a better deal? Costco gas!!! Lastly, cancel your Uber eats pass and GoodLife membership omg!!!
Good style of presentation but I am really confused as how the fish, do you think about bare minimum. Add the zara expenses and it would be 10-11k bare minimum. Papa must be sending it.
Hey guys Can relate totally since we have bought house in 2021💯..no matter how much people say you have lifestyle..nope average expense in 7000-8000,and you guys should have gone for Tesla ,it would have saved gas cost.As we have Tesla model 3 ,although we booked last August our insurance is 250
Hi Pooja 😊 this is my first time commenting on your videos! I started watching your videos a while ago and couldn’t stop! I love your vlogs. Keep doing your great work Pooja. Can’t wait to continue watching this video too
Your expenses are too much ... How are you sustaining ? It is way too much 😔😔... If you start cooking at home maybe you will be able to save some money ... Do you guys get money from home ?
This comment section is hilarious !!! The title is “what we spend in a month” which means that it is not reflective of everyone. People in Canada have different goals and priorities and values, not everyone wants or needs to “save” or use low cost options. Further more the questions about “hiding” or “not disclosing “ income are ridiculous, the video is about spending. Also anyone with a RUclips channel with this level of engagement obviously have multiple income streams. I congratulate them on successfully establishing them so quickly in Canada .
You guys are really doing very good 😊 Feels so positive to watch your videos. Could you share video which has some information of jobs and earnings in general. Thanks 😊 in advance
What is your biggest monthly expense? Comment down below 👇
Ours is mortgage 😩😩
definitely rent! I am in downtown Toronto, come visit me!

Hopefully the taxes might be revised soon 🤞
Suggestions for you guys:
1. get rid of the gym fees since you don’t really use the gym. I remember that your basement is still unfinished so in the time being, you can buy gym equipment (either brand new or used) and use those instead. There are foldable treadmills that you can get which won’t occupy so much space or even an exercise bike and use it in the garage or basement. Then hopefully when you guys save up enough to finish the basement, it can be an exercise room and/or movie room 😊
2. Try and order in or eat out maximum 3 times a month. That will save you so much. I know there are days when you’re too tired to cook so what I suggest is keeping the frozen fruits and veggies to make smoothies. Or makes sure to have Maggi noodles in stock. They’ll come in handy 😬
But thanks so much for sharing this with us 😊😊
Rich people, I'm not sure they are complaining about the expenses or enjoying it
Mann this video is contraversal. Not reaching 200k combined because she'd have to do a lot more work which would be hard to balance with youtube)
I don't know.
You are so lame
Few things which you have to work on:
1. You have to request socialblade people to increase your monthly income as it displays upper range of only CAD 2400/-

The fact that you didn't sit at one place and told about your expenses just like other youtubers is commendable . Loved the concept 💞
230 dollars are for ur iPhones, this doesn’t comes in monthly expenses, it’s something which you buy on your own wish..It doesn’t come in household expenses
Phones which are on contract need monthly payments. It is never paid in full but with instalments plus the carrier networks fee.
(Point 2- 40% of your monthly expensed comes to CAD 2,784 to be precise as per the explained expenses)
Point 3: As per the whole video, in order to cover your monthly expenses, you both should earn at least CAD10,500 (Before taxes), I am not able to understand your income, but if Sarang is contributing at least 50% of the expenses, he should earn at least CAD 33 per hr or Annual 65K income which is a Manager's income in Telus.

3 comments that I wanted to make, some from a long time and some after watching the video:

Let's compare for simplicity:
A. Renting Vs Owning including utilities, maintenance, HI, PT: ~2500 vs ~4500
B. Internet, Phone, Subscriptions (~350. It is what it is)
C. For Car: ~900 (Note Oakville is far)
D. Groceries+Repairs: ~850
This is apt and gives very good understanding to manage the finances.

they say the mortgage is 40% of their income and it's 3500. That would mean annual income of 120-130K, not 200K
They said mortgage is 40% of their expenses, not income.

Thanks for sharing guys! and good luck with everything
your expenses seem quite reasonable to me given that you own a house worth around 600k and have to pay mortgage on that. Also the $3500 increase in your expenses is attributed to you owning a house (which will appreciate in value) and a car (which will depreciate in value but of course is convenient)
LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos! You’re such an inspiration 😍

Love your videos :) This one was very informative for me since I plan to immigrate soon. Congratulations on the new house and I wish you plenty abundance in the future so covering your fixed expenses will be a piece of cake/gulab jamun! 😊
For once, can you guys act real? YOU GUYS ARE REALLY MISLEADING NEW IMMIGRANTS. You live a luxury life that's why it cost you so heavy.
Exactly
100% agreed
Did she even uttered a word “Immigrants” in her video.
Why are you assuming that this is for new immigrants.
I’m NOT an immigration channel nor I’m making videos for new immigrants. 🙏 I’m sharing my life, my thoughts, travel, food etc things I love.
I’m not saying this is how much everyone should spend.
These are the expenses I have and thought of sharing it because I myself love watching such videos at times - I see monthly expenses of people in Paris- doesn’t mean I’m getting inspired to move to Paris.
Everyone lives their life differently and that’s the interesting part. Isn’t it?

Obviously they can manage as they are just the spoilt kids stl using their parents money for eating and living 😄😂
@@Kartavya2108 Even if that were true, not sure it would be the end of the world if parents decided to help out their kids within their means.
Moreover, lenders approve mortgages based on a certain % to your 'stable' income. If they couldn't afford it with their current work profiles, their lenders would be the first ones to let them know.
@@dennisabraham they gave approx 350k as a down payment. Rest they can qualify even if their annual income is less becoz they paid so much down. You cannot live the way they are living unless u have strong backing from parents.
@@dennisabraham, They are free to live paycheck to paycheck, but sadly this is a very wrong portrayal for aspiring PR candidates. Most of the vloggers are not showing the true picture of the struggle that new immigrants have to face. I wish people are smart enough to realize that reel life and real life is very different.
@@oyesooday3328 Like I said, this was never meant to be a yardstick for comparison. Everyone's migration stories and struggle journeys are different. They are here to share their journey; not reflect on what aspiring PR candidates could potentially face - which in itself is impossible to generalize. Their story might not appeal to the majority, but is still theirs to share.

she kept on saying she bought a car (even has a video titled as such), but they are renting the car.
@@kavir1211 yes the house is owned by the bank till its fully paid off. 😊😊

I’m paying $550/month on finance
$230/month on insurance
$20/month on electricity !

$700 on grocery is not basic expense. (Can be done at $350/month)
$136 on gym is not basic expense (free)
Electricity + gas + water should be $100
$130/month for one phone? Are you kidding me? I’m paying $70/month for the same and unlimited data. Lol!
Anyway I’m not here to downgrade just want to say these are not “basic survival” expenses at all. This is misleading for a lot of immigrants.
All numbers look OK but electricity+water+gas can't be 100 imo

This comment section is hilarious !!! The title is “what we spend in a month” which means that it is not reflective of everyone. People in Canada have different goals and priorities and values, not everyone wants or needs to “save” or use low cost options. Further more the questions about “hiding” or “not disclosing “ income are ridiculous, the video is about spending. Also anyone with a RUclips channel with this level of engagement obviously have multiple income streams.
