I actually put you ear biscuits videos on while I'm in bed to help me sleep, not because I find you's boring or anything. I actually love your content. I just find both your voices really relaxing and soothing.
I do the same thing. Ear biscuits is always so relaxing it always helps me sleep!
Same
Heh, I do that with old GMMs and old Biscuits! They're somehow so soothing. At least I'm not the only one using Rhett and link to fall asleep
Join the club my favourite ones are the timecapsule, girls and Walmart stories episodes
Me too. Very soothing.
Link should do a handstand in the shower to establish full dominance.
Eric Rundgren But if he fell his legs would slam into the shower head and then he would be screwed. It’s worth it though.
I hope he has clothes on because if he doesn’t have clothes on they are going to see stuff that they didn’t want to see😂😂😂😂
@@anifand That’s why he should do it 😂 Establish dominance lmao

I'm 33 amd my guy is 44. We sleep in different rooms. Part of it has to do with kids.. but it's mostly because he snores and I toss and turn a lot. We keep each other awake and it leads to us fighting because we're both over tired. We've been together 10 years and we've probably slept apart for 6 of them? It doesn't take any of our intimacy away tho. We will lay together until one of us is too tired to stay awake. If we fall asleep together it's inevitable that one of us will leave the room. Works for us. 🤷
I eliminate this issue by being single and sleeping alone.
Word
Life hack
Imagine if Rhett and Link lived right next to each other and had shower windows facing each other, they could sing together, and have asserting dominance competitions every morning. lmfao
They need to make an asserting dominance song now.
@@Steamed1Veggies That would be hilarious.
Haha i picture two fighting roosters strutting and puffing their chests out as they circle each other and crow loudly
why they are not neighbors?
😂😂😂😂
It's cute that these two guys who initially did *not* want dogs and only got them to appease their kids, both now comfortably sleep with their dogs every night. 🐶
ikr, now they are dog people😁
I got a dog for my wife after we had a two day argument about whether or not we should, basically I had absolutely no interest in getting a dog but I got her one as a surprise just to appease her and now that dog is probably one of my favorite beings on this planet.
12:10 that line hit me hard; watching this episode during these horrible times.
i thought this exact thing
Rhett: "I dont know what to do with these blue balls."
Link: " Straddle a pillow."
😲
Lol!! I heard that too!! 🤣🤣🤣
Gotta do something about the blue balls, right?
I hope Link's neighbors secretly listen to this episode.
How does someone secretly listen to something on RUclips? Aren't we all doing it, "secretly?"
Jim Rush no cuz us watching this, is on record.
@@MYLISTOF15 haha im pretty sure they mean that they won’t announce it to him but they are listening
This is this most intense and alpha I have ever seen these two (especially Rhett and his post apocalyptic and biblical references) 😭😭😭😭😭 and the fact that Link was willing to volunteer his wife to assert her dominance is everything I stan and stand for hahahah
"Do you know how to dominate?" lol
Да!
Had a good laugh with Rhett's advice. Just stare at your neighbor during the shower as they leave. XD
what time did he say this?
He’s serious too I think😂😂

33:47 is the Blue Ball Belt for my audio only friends.
As an audio-only, I really appreciate that. I prefer to partake in ear biscuits while I'm driving or working out, but I was really curious about the belt.
@@petrosinella same
Man, you really are a thoughtful gamer.
These podcasts really help me fall asleep ironically enough with this episode 😅. Also really proud of Link, I've noticed he's been trying not to interrupt as often and wait for Rhett to finish his thought. 👍😁
The first 20 minutes of this biscuit was really funny but super interesting at the same time!
The dogs being concerned about the sleeping changes is so sweet.
Hearing your thoughts on sleep was super informative having some troubles of my own, really awesome podcast. Thanks for taking the time to make them!
there is an easy solution to the shower dilemma... you could just get oneway glass
Ya! I have that on my back balcony door because it's a shared balcony and my neighbors are always out there. It's so great to have the one way setup
Never thought an Ear Biscuit would explain why my body is in so much pain all the time and my acid reflux is getting worse.... I am one of the rare stomach sleepers of which Rhett speaks. Time to get a blue ball belt.
I sleep with old ear biscuits on, I'm about to go to bed rn, just started the episode, I'm so comfortable and familiar with your voices, its soothing and helps me fall asleep fairly quickly
This podcast created one of the best Rhett and Link vlogs
"when the big one hits the city and everyone is kinda holed up in their houses for an extended period of time," well...this is awkward...
Rhett is weird with his prophecies
Link, do you shower with your glasses on? I wouldn't be able to see my neighbor without mine.
ofc not
Omg screaming at this comment
@Justen Stuckey when you listen to your metal music and start bobbing to it, your glasses fall off and break
@Justen Stuckey because they instantly steam and you can't see!!!
Perhaps he uses his contacts when he takes a shower.
How to know how rich Link is...
"Our neighbor is 2 doctors"
How to know Rhett is rich...
"I put an offer on a house with a clear bathroom"
Coming down from mdma to some soft sweet Rhett and Link voices.
48:00 but we already knew that! 😂 “I’m trying to fall asleep, why are you beating off a- making a- making a beat? And she doesn’t say! She doesn’t say anything!” (From the Fastest Ways to Fall Asleep episode)
Since your initial ear biscuits regarding this topic, my wife and I have switched to alternate sides of the bed. I knew the memory foam on her side had less dip in it and would probably help my lower back pain if we switched.. we watched that part of the episode together and she agreed to try.. been the best few weeks of sleep I've had in a while and we havent switched back. Also, I fall sleep on my back when I'm super sleepy but when I'm having difficulty, I find it easier to fall asleep in the fetal position. Regardless of how I fall asleep, I always seem to wake up on my back.
I love the throwbacks to classic R&L. Link told the holding and drumming on the headboard story on a More and Rhett said something about that Amish movie before too 😊
Good mythical morning everyone, including us fans, the myrhical crew and rhett and link💕 love you guys. Hope everyone is doing great. Sending love from the UK🇬🇧

Good Morning, my Mythical Friend, across the pond! Blessings and positivity from St. Louis, MIssouri, USA!! 🌞🙏😍⚜️🇺🇸
One time I woke up with both of my feet asleep and I went to go walk to the bathroom but since my feet were asleep I fell straight on the floor on my face
Christie Neal should get a Linkgevity medal for sticking it out with Link 😂
But how do you even stay asleep with your dogs? I had a dream I was trying to start a lawnmower but failed repeatedly. and then I woke up to my pug snoring in my face.
😂😂😂😂😂
that shade of blue looks really nice on rhett
“Everyone holed up in their houses for an extended period of time.” Bet Rhett didn’t know just how relevant that phrase would be a year later.
He is the prophet we have been searching for
The first 15 minutes were so wild lol
Scratch that, the whole video was so wild 😜
At 12:08 Rhett predicts Corona virus!
Listening to this now... Rhett has some foresight! Wow
I'm a stomach sleeper, I know it is the worst position but that is how I have always slept and it works for me. I have never had any pain from it, granted I'm only 22 so maybe I'll get it later in life but right now I'm sticking with it.
I love that rhett just does handyman stuff at link's house
Link would benefit from having some land with no neighbors.
everyone would
Its really nice.
Listening to that bit about what would Link do with his neighbors during some sort of shut down and my eyes went wide given the state of the world right now. (For future listeners, I mean the corona virus pandemic)
Same here. 😱
i can’t believe that was 2 years ago…
Rhett and Link:
I love listening to this whilst playing games or just relaxing
Sadly can't come, Love from The Netherlands though :)
Have a fun Halloween!
My husband and I can only fall asleep on our stomachs but I always wake up in the morning on my back. So I think subconsciously my body moves to what is the most comfortable.
Vents are for steam and humidity in the bathroom. Rhett is WRONG. 🤣🤣🤣
Idk how to explain it but its comforting to sleep on my stomach yet entirely uncomfortable after about 5 minutes so I always end up turning back to my back. Interesting that so few people are back sleepers
I am single and sleep alone in a twin sized bed. I sleep on both my left and right side but often wake up on my back. I sleep like a dying fish flopping around a lot!!
Pro tip: Instead of swapping sides of the bed, just both flip the other way so that your heads are where your feet usually are & vice versa. The change feels GREAT & you both keep your usual side
Another great ear biscuits, and boys you got to tint that bathroom window with mirror tint on the outside so you can see out noone can see in.
Why do the channels and the content videos SOMETIMES have Closed Captions and sometimes they are auto generated? I don't know if you guys know, but for those of us with hearing issues, the autogenerated ones are pretty much useless. You get stuff that is laughable but not helpful.
Yes!! I am hard of hearing and it’s big problem for me on GMM too!
I love the instant recall of the Bethsheba story by both of them
Rhett, get yourself a set of cal king adjustable bases with split cal twin talalay latex mattresses on the slightly firmer side. At night, set the adjustable head up and foot up, it will pull the pressure off the lower back and you will have a lesser tendency to roll to your side. It will help if there is any snoring as well. If you get bases that have vibration, turn that on, the noise will help you fall asleep and the vibration sensation may quell some urge to move the legs around a bunch. Also a cal king is 72x84 and a cal twin is 36x84. Firmer latex, sleeps cooler, all natural, doesn’t transmit movement when wife gets up and its quiet and bounces back instantly. Latex pillows too.
I was on vacation a few years ago, and the room had a window in the shower. It was fantastic! Even beyond the view, the warm breeze through the window in the hot shower was so refreshing and amazing. Of course here it wouldn't work in winter, because some days the steam wafting out of the window would instantly make snow. Which actually sounds pretty mythical!
I have totally upped my sleep game. I took Link’s Rec and got the Bluetooth sleep mask and downloaded a couple of relaxation apps. I also got a wedge and body pillow (med cline) great for those of us with shoulder pain and snoring BTW! All have really helped with comfort, getting to sleep faster and an overall better sleep experience. As far as sleeping separately...Only when one of us are sick do we sleep in separate rooms. I agree that it can damage intimacy.
Rhett: "...noise machine..."
Me: **looks up**
Me: ...
Me: "Wait! That's my noise machine!"
!?
Through out this Ear Biscuit. Been getting ads for mattresses. One of em was a Nectar Sleep.
Rhett: it’s one of those houses that you could just see FOREVER
Me: yeah.. you mean... a rich person’s house. Lol
You guys need to bring back the wood grain button up. I missed out on the mediums. They went pretty fast. I'd totally buy the extra small if I could fit in it, but I'm sure I can't.
the biggest size also went so fast.
My husband really wanted one too. :(
When i was a kid my mum used to force me to put things away or clean my rooms and wouldnt leave me alone until i did it, now it's just habit to put things where they are meant to be
Ayyyy nice throwback to Have You Ever! One of the catchiest RandL songs!
Boyfriend and I decided to try out the side swap. Turns out my back pain isn’t from a top soft mattress like we though, but because my side of the bed was about two inches taller. This was making the bed tilt just enough to make my body roll towards the center of the bed.
I did train myself to sleep on my back. I slept on my side my whole life. Then came the back problems and I switched to back and stomach. But then started the neck problems. So I now sleep on my back. But it was like Link said. You can train yourself to sleep on your back. :)
My husband and I often switch sides when we move or just move the bed.
It’s so funny that switching positions on a bed is such a major topic, because I sleep better if I switch how I sleep regularly! We switch our heads to the foot of the bed about every 2 weeks.
I sleep on my sides or my stomach/side most of the time, with full stomach rarely and back rarely. And I guess back/side sometimes. On my sides I guess it's loose fetal most of the time because with straight legs it would be impossible to balance one on top of the other and then having the top leg on the mattress makes it uncomfortable for hips/lower back twist. I will do it when my hips hurt (in a different way) from them being curled up too tight or too long, however. On the back/side it's just usually angled to one side I guess and with a leg bent to the side. Or it'll be fetal but with my shoulders flat in the back position. Stomach/side is with the shoulders mostly flat on stomach (or occasionally completely and looking to the opposite side) with one leg bent which angles the hips halfway. Arms usually underneath my chest or the bottom one goes behind me and the other in front. Occasionally full stomach with my head to one side and my arms under my chest because feeling squeezed is nice. I also have these pillow animals, and when I'm on my side I hug one with my top arm and it sort of keeps my chest open, and I might put one between my legs, and on the stomach/side I also hold it under the shoulder that's raised up a bit.
Idk. I change positions all the freaking time every night. Extremely often until I fall asleep, and then a couple times in the night.
Can't wait to see y'all on November 1st in North Carolina!!!
"i say shampoo while staring at him" XD haha
"There's no give to those balls"
- Link, 2019
Listened to the original sleep switching episode a while ago and then this one the other day and was like come on hubby, lets switch sides! But tomorrow night, cuz of charging cords. We switched last night and I slept great! It did feel like weird new vacation beds or something.
Me watching this trying to sleep: “Well am I sleeping wrong???”
You should have a sleep test done of a gym episode. Link would probably still sleep through despite having all of the wires hooked up lol. I also sleep with a balled up blanket under my head now instead of a pillow. Gives more support I find
47:50 link's beating off the headboard again
Heh. I sleep on my stomach and have tried other positions many times but can sometimes go hours with no luck trying to go to sleep, but eventually give up, flip to my stomach, then fall asleep on my stomach.
I'm so glad I saw this because I need a sleep position trainer but I didn't even know that was a thing! I go to bed laying on my side but constantly end up sleeping on my back, unintentionally, and snoring until my boyfriend kicks me to roll over 😆 It only started after being pregnant with my youngest because for 8 months straight I could only sleep on my back, almost sitting straight up!
I've been sleeping in a hammock for over 6 months now and have slept better than I ever have. I was a side sleeper, but in a hammock it feels natural to sleep on my back, and it's helped me a lot. I had terrible shoulder/back pain that I was struggling with and after sleeping in a hammock for a month it had disappeared. Wish I knew about this sooner. Also the hammock takes up way less space, and is portable if I need to pack it up or move it.
"You want your stomach to be below your esophagus to prevent food and acid coming up through your digestive tract-ewwww."
😂😂
"If my memory serves me, correct me"
I want to see an animated short where Barbara and jade meet up and compare notes about their owners swapping sides of the bed
love this episode, sleep is so important 🥰
I’m a side sleeper. Prefer the right side mostly but will sleep on my left time to time. My boyfriend and I have always favored a side of the bed and honestly don’t think I’d like switching sides. Mostly because I prefer sleeping on my right side, but also like Rhett I like to face away from my boyfriend 😂 but I definitely flip sides through out the night.
I put on ear biscuits while I shower haha
Being that Link’s neighbors are dr’s......they’ve most likely seen much worse than Link in the shower, just hope he’s not singing on top of it all!😂
36:00 Link, stop playing with Rhett's blue balls. We don't need any more fan fiction....
My parents slept apart for 20+ years because my dad wouldn't buy a new mattress. They had the same one for the entire duration of their marriage. 🤦♀️
I'm a sound sleeper and can fall asleep just about anywhere. The hardest part of waking up.
I sleep on my side mostly, but lately my shoulder has been hurting so I end up sleeping on my stomach and it in turn makes my back hurt LOL
I'm waiting for someone to bring out a (affordable) zero-g sleeping pod.
Bye bye insomnia! I mean, I could become an astronaut, but the pod sounds like it would be easier.
I love that show "i think you should leave"
I have always slept on the left side of the bed if you are standing at the foot of the bed. As well as every bed we have ever slept in. His side is unfortunately against the wall. I have to sleep on my right side. I heard it better to sleep on your left but then I can hear my heart beat. Unless I wake up half sleep and my left side is pretty comfy. My side is wore down more. I also do the legs in a walking man position almost on my stomach with my arm under the pillow. My husband can just lay down in any way heck even side ways in the bed and go right to sleep. I have to move him so I can lay up normal in the bed.
Hope these two are still very good mates
I hug a pillow to keep my shoulders nice. Totally works!
I was thinking “why would you want to change the way you sleep it can’t be that important” but after hearing the stuff about sleeping on your stomach I feel like I have to switch 😂
Both of my arms fall asleep simultaneously a few times each week. I've been getting related treatments and heard from a doctor it's "likely" just a genetic abnormality. A lot of people have nerve clusters in weird orientations through their armpits and just constantly wake up kinda senseless. Maybe only like 1% of us? But me and Link.
Haha I already watched "I Think You Should Leave" and u was like "this is like Rhett and Link and Mr. Show had a baby". There's literally a bellybutton shirt sketch!!
Who's here after the vlog?
I Think You Should Leave is hilarious! I get what Rhett means, but I don't think "stupid" is the right word
Link: And it involves them at the same time
Rhett:,You're showering with your neighbors again?
That moment when you realize 5 months after this we began being holed up for an extended period of time... so... has link eaten his neighbors?
that ball belt was teh most hypster thing I ever did see
“Why’ you beating off the ... Uh, making a beat?”
You guys should do a podcast or episode with your wives!
I snore but ever since I was 3 I trained myself to sleep on my side and now Whenever I sleep on my back I awake
This is so much better than the recent GMM.
The vent is for the steam so you don't get that mildew on the roof of your bathroom have you ever been to somebody's house and the roof of the shower has mold all over it believe it or not I live in a house right now with no vent in the bathroom but we do have an opaque window
After listening to this biscuit, I tried sleeping on the other side of my bed. I'm the only human, but my large dog sleeps with me. My doggo nearly pushed me off the bed during the night as he got confused to where he was xD
Rhett, to sleep with your knees bent while on your back, put a pillow under your knees.53:29
Is it wrong that I’m listening to this as I fall asleep?
Holly Long I am, too.
Do you mind two 40 year old men talking about making love?
I think the answers is your answer to that question. XD
