I don't know why gold prospecting became something I LOVE doing, but one thing is for sure when I can't get up North, I rely on all of the you tubers out there to give me my fix.! Tried to do one a couple of days ago, couldn't get there, this week has been very warm, I'm thinking I can get in this weekend.
Well that’s not bad at all for a couple hours that spot has to be loaded, a full day there and I bet you get 4-6 grams unless you get down through those boulders(make Jeff move them for ya 😂) then you might get a couple of chunky nuggets as well and hit 6-10 grams…. I know it’s a long drive but I’d like to see what’s under those boulders and I know your wondering about it as well lol…. Good to see you out exploring Gary. The early, warm spring and sun has started to soften the ground here in Montana. It’s just about time to do some exploring up this way. I have about 16 interesting places marked on a map to check out this summer.
Last fall I located an undisturbed old trappers cabin back in the mountain thickets. I’m excited to pack my metal detector in there to see what he may have dropped or what relics are hiding. I won’t forget to find his garbage dump!

Good stuff 😎. I went to go hit a pit the other day but there was too much snow. Ended up down in Washington detecting up on the Yuba instead. Found a couple nice pieces that day, so the day ended up pretty good for a winter day 😎
