Geno, you're right about the snow dump. I spent three hours on my snow blower on Sunday. The good news is that Devin and I went skiing at Northstar yesterday. Fresh powder to the knees. If this keeps up we could have a Yuba blow out and move those BARs during the spring thaw. Fingers crossed.

Good morning Gary. I’m curious on the elevation that you drive to. I’m from the south end of the valley and travel to the Merced river near Yosemite and haven’t found much. I’m thinking that I need to go a little higher.
Up here the best areas are from 1500 to 4500 foot as a general rule.
River looks good Gary, good to see Todd with you. I guess Jeff's alarm didn't work that morning. Very nice gold boys, love the gold that you call small, i'll take it. Very nice nugget too, hopefully all the rain will stir up the gold. Is that the Yuba? looks pretty steep but bedrock and gravel looks good.

I'm kind of new to your site lots of information I've been going out with the guys from the wyo . GPA been out three times in different areas and so far not a speck there just isn't much gold in wyo.from what I've seen I've tryed metal detecting in one area all I came up with is some lead lots of iron bullet casings and a few coins but no gold but it's been educational love the videos now I know more what to look for I've found thousands of dollars in coins and jewelry but no gold lol ,I'll keep looking

Been -10°C here and building so as you well know there's no point trying to move rocks and cracked bedrock. Meant to be warmer next week though. Ps have you finished that pistol behind you now? 👍👌😁
I started a set of dueling at least 10 years ago, got the one behind me finished enough to shoot. It needs the butt cap installed, a good sanding and a finish. Been trying to get the other one to the same point but life keeps getting in the way - some day! lol
