I'm always glad to see your latest adventure. Great gold, and the pelican was a lovely surprise! Looking forward to more golden times. Thanks Gary and Jeff!❤ Hope you both had a wonderful Easter.
Ahhh the pelican 😅 I see it now lol 😂 Great day out havin fun Nice to pan with Hugo again and always fun to kick it with you and Jeff ⛏️✨ Can’t wait to snipe that place this year
Nice work Gary! I’d be lucky to find a gram in one season. I recently received the crevice tools I purchased from your store. Thanks a bunch and can’t wait to try them out.
Nice job Gary!. Good to see JC using the goldmonster out there. Gives me hope whenever I finally make it out there with mine. I've heard it's challenging to use in your area. Can't wait for the Nevada trip! #LBPA4LIFE
i just bought a metal detector... just a cheap one from harbor freight... i bought it just to find a survey marker, but now i think its gonna have a second purpose! haha good stuff.. so far ive had semi decent luck with just a pan.... ive been up on the american, and yuba rivers... never found much, but always found at least a few tiny smalls every time i ever looked... i guess it helps when im only ever looking in low water riverbeds in gold country haha
The ol' 2 gram rut is coming! Its only the beginning of April! I feel a good year coming up! My normal stomping grounds just opened up after a forrest fire 3 years ago so...im hoping to get up there soon!
Hi Gary, I was wondering if you might explain what your thoughts are when you find “coarse” and “fine” black sand. I’ve heard you reference both in your videos, but I haven’t found a spot in your videos where you describe which you like to see and for what reasons. I’ve learned a ton from your videos! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
The genius of Gary, always bring hand clippers to cut blackberries and even poison oak to get to the gold others mist,, and watch out for poison oak roots are very toxic!
Good morning I bet with the fines that you put in the fines jar for the end of the year you passed 2g looks like you really had to work for this time though lots of hiking, but that’s a Prospecting…. Detecting, panting and crevice seeing all in one video not bad at all at least it wasn’t super cold. Great video thanks for sharing. See you on the next one.👍🏼👊🏼
Great video and again, thank you for portraying prospecting the way it typically happens. It's aggravating when videos make it appear as though a 3 gram nugget is as easy to find as your nose is. It's a hard days work, hours walking, tripping, bending over, digging and digging to find anything but gold. On a side note, where about in Nevada are you guys heading to? I wish you good luck and a safe trip.
I tell everyone, if the gold is all your after you're going to quit after a few trips. I do it because I love the outdoors and who knows the gold might pay for the gas! All I know on the Nevada trip is, were in the northern part, if they drove off and left me, I'd die out there - no idea where I am. lol
@@TwoToes south fork up by Hardin flat is where I learned circa 2017. Gotta few spots in mind to claim, wanna try the clavey too!! Thanks for all the vids it really keeps me going, only had a couple gram days sluicing but I just got my first detector. It's a cheapy but I figure it should pay for itself quicker. The beaches out here are so mineralized I have to notch out iron and high silver
Fun fact: Gary never wears shorts because you would see that he doesn't actually have knees. He's had knee pads surgically grafted to where his knees would be. This allows him to dig on his knees on rocks all day and feel zero pain.
@TwoToes Haha 😄 I'm going to order both of your crevice tools, to support your channel. Thanks for all your hard work filming and posting all of your videos Gary! ✌️🍺🍺
That young man and his girlfriend were smart to stick near you Gary, Jeff and those other bumblers always go off by themselves and come back with next to nothing haha.
You guys are using 2300s. How do the newish PI machines (AXIOM, etc.) compare for the gold you might find there? Much different? Much better? Marginally better? Not as good? 2300s are certainly easier to pack in.
At 3. 5 1 1 you are standing next to a pile of tailings was there a mine uphill from that pile of tailings or if not how did that pilot aliens get there
💛...a while ago you noted that the headphones that came with the 2300 were 'subpar'... has your opinion changed?... what would be a decent replacement?...
Hey sorry to ask but can anyone piont me to any spots closer to Sacramento I know no one likes to give out their secret spots but im here in santa rosa and im struggles to find places to go any help will be much appreciated and gary you make it look to easy haha
This was good, enjoyed watching and the Pelican was unusual 😆 Nice finds Gary 👍

Thank you for this. I appreciate your videos. I'm in Korea and hope to do some prospecting this year. Good luck to all of you who are in the hunt.

Less and less golf 😮😮😮
Great video Gary. You’re a gold vacuum buddy. Good luck on your next trip.
Good morning !
Morning!
I'd love to have your problem, lol. I only get flood gold where I go, and hardly any of that. I'm in the Sierras, N Stanislaus near Big Trees.

nice gold thank you for sharing the adventure and information.
Gary, for the record, I'd buy that sweatshirt design or a similar one with your logo if you made it. I can't imagine I'd be the only one!
Great job as usual, thanks for the video. ⛏️👍

Beautiful Gold Gary! Stunning character on the Nuggets! That Pelican followed JC from Hawaii! Dan Brent

See you soon brother. 🤙🇺🇸
Nice looking gold.
Does your to-do list still include a video on hard rock mining in the future ?

A pelican, I thought you would see one every time you look at Geoff 😂
If a pelican is there, it means there's good fishing!
" Was" good fishing. lol
Where's your Green Jeans ???? LOL
Would have got 2 grams if had worn them.
@@TwoToes You need a straw hat now !!!!!
Got any advice on finding gold around the dredged rock piles on the Merced river?
I think Jeff’s detector was acting up, because Gary definitely has a heart of gold. 😊

Good morning boss
Almost got that 2 gram rut going again. Darn it I’m stuck in half gram rut. lol. 😂.
Ended up with 1.75g from Sunday, that first piece was almost 1.4g.

A Hugo siting is as rare as a 1lb nugget. Gotta keep a leash on that guy.
👍👍
Mornin'!
Hello from Salinas Gary. Would love venturing out with a well skilled expert as yourself to learn a tactic or two in metal detecting.
Are there freshwater pelicans?? I guess so😂❤ that was the best find of the day imo
Looked it up - American White Pelican, during breeding season mostly inland, nesting on isolated islands in lakes.
@@TwoToes my favorite birds. So cool. Ever tried prospecting SLO County down south

So how much cash can you get per gram of nugget and flake gold like that?
There letting more water out today on the yuba be careful

Anywhere on the American river you can find gold.
I got 16 grams after work yesterday
Damm, I would have beat you if it wasn't for that pesky decimal point - I got 1.7g. lol

almost two grams, that's more than I've gotten all year 2024, and I find mine already turned to jewelry. 😂🤣
