Van Sin 😂😂 I was about to say I love her length but geezus I'm not about to go through all that. I don't have the patience to do all that before washing it. 😩
Interesting. I never knew how many other ladies detangled roots first- most of the people I hear from seem to love the ends first method but I always found it gave me tons of tangles and cobwebs! Great video as always!
There's a black professional stylist here on RUclips named Ladosha Wright and she says people are detangling all wrong. Thati it should actually be from the roots down.
I use this method when I take out braid/twist extensions because there's always matting near the root where the hair was attached. It definitely works! I would love to have my hair at your length and just wear the super chunky twists you have for washing. I'll just have to settle for Havana twists for now!
***** I've realised that unless you detangle the roots first (if your hair's like mine) they'll never get detangled! Thanks for your comment about my twists!
Whenever I detangle my or my daughter's hair, I use this method. I've done it the same way (as you) for years now. Glad to see I'm not the only one.. It just works better for me. :) I commend you for your dedication to your thick, long, amazing hair!! It gives me inspiration because you are like, my hair twin.. STAY GORGEOUS. xo
You are absolutely right to be in the right mood to detangle your natural hair. I was tired so i cut off some hair in the back. My hair grows slowly so that was a big mistake.
I see a lot of comments about this taking too long, but when you think about it, you're only doing this process on wash day. So basically once a week, or once every 2 weeks for some.
i do this too but with fingers only. I've been finger detangling exclusively since March and my hair loves it. I usually wear it in twists anyway so it doesn't have to be completely detangled.
This is the way I detangle my hair. I actually don't think this is very different from the conventional "detangle the ends first" advice. All that advice is saying is DON'T ATTEMPT TO COMB YOUR HAIR ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE ENDS UNTIL YOU HAVE CLEARED OUT YOUR ENDS. It's just to stop you from having that "wish-boning effect" and snapping / tearing your ends off. There are many ways of reaching that result, e.g. you can start at the roots as long as when it comes down to it, you don't attempt to comb the shed hairs down through tangled-up ends.
I'm wondering if you've ever tried a paddle brush instead of a comb?? The paddle brush is the one with the individual teeth, the teeth have a round ball on the tip. And all the teeth are organized in rows with a cushiony "bed" that they are stuck to. I've always gotten faaaaaar better results with these than a comb, which seems to kind of snap and stretch individual strands too much. I guess it's because the paddle brush grabs so much hair at one time so they all get stretched together. So a good slip conditioner AND a paddle brush.... it just glides through the hair.
this is exactly where I detangle my hair from... because I sometimes have knots at my root and they can get overlooked when finger detangling as well as detangling from the bottom.
The warning sign is hilarious so true.Since you said you wont make a skin care video Could you tell me what moisturiser and cleanser you use.Love your simplcity and flawless skin
Ashley Adams I will! It's on my list. Cleansers: Bobbi Brown Extra Bright/ Neutrogena Visibly Clear; moisturiser: Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil Free Moisturiser.
We have different hair textures but this is exactly how I detangle with my fingers! My roots tangle more than my ends so it only made sense for me to start at the roots. And the very rare times that I actually use a comb, I use the same method that you demonstrated! Excellent video! I will definitely share this video, especially to those that ask how I detangle.
@ 0.45 I like the way her hair shines like glitter. Really gorgeous hair & I'm hoping mine can look as good if I ever grow it at least shoulder length.
+Naturally High I have1 more question, Plz tell me the name of the product that makes your hair shine like glitter so beautifully. I can't wait to buy it. Thx soooo much for your vids & teaching us.
+coraza naoro aw thank you! I think it's the light I was using because my hair doesn't tend to shine. If you want shine, apply an oil, such as argan or olive! Good luck!
I like your demonstration and as my hair has grown to bra length this makes sense. I also have found lint and stuff my hair not found by finger detangling, so gently combing my hair is a good idea. Thanks
YES! This is my exact detangling method! Especially the knot removal technique. That lift out method is the business! i only use a comb every 3 months and my method is very similar! The music on your video is so funky! I had a 70s flashback! LOL~ Great Video!
I use the same method of finger detangling from the roots, in the past I used to start from the ends but there was too much knotting going on, so for me starting from the roots work. Stay Blessed!
Hi! I've just become a new sub!! I'm from GB! This is the most realistic detangling video I have seen on your tube so far..most videos are very short and they do not show the tough side of the detangling process! Thank you for this detailed and honest video!!!!!! 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
+Witty Butterfly hello there! Welcome to the naturally high cloud! I try to provide my viewers with realistic, raw, informative videos. I'm happy to hear I succeeded with this one! There's lots more content for you to catch up on! :D
Our hair is very similar in texture and how it tangles. I have never fully detangled my hair because my fingers get really exhausted and I never make it up to my roots. Never thought of starting at the roots. I hope to learn how to properly detangle without losing my mind before it grows any longer. Right now it's mid-back and very thick. Thanks for the tips! I love your videos.
+Mahogany Belle you're welcome! I'm glad I'm not alone in the struggle. Just remember that unless you want your hair bone straight or in tiny twists, there's never any need to get it entirely detangled, as in completely snag free. Just get all the major knots out and stop fighting against your hair.
+Naturally High Thanks for the advice. How often do you trim your ends. I'm having a hard time figuring out if I really need trim or if the fro-y ends are part of my hair texture or damaged?
+Mahogany Belle I look at the ends and if they're splitting or knotted then I trim them off. I don't tend to cut pieces off blindly, i.e. without assessing the strands first.
I did this today and my hair felt so awesome... at times finger detangling is just not enough because as much as I hate breakage, I hate matting even more.
I've had a go and it actually worked for me...im surprised...I gently separated from the roots before I worked my way down to the ends but with loads of coconut oil.
This was so funny. BTW, I actually did this today--it just seems easy this way (the only difference is I didn't include a comb in the detangling). What a coincidence I see a video with the same technique!
Hi that's how I detangle mine but thanks for the advice about using a lot of product because I usually don't when I watched this vid and added more oil it was much easier. I am 9 months post relaxer and I should have been using more product all this time Lol.
New Subbie! I love your hair! I have 4a and 4b hair! You are so right about not detangling when frustrated story of my life especially when washing my hair lol! I will do better thanks for the video!!!
+InternationalCoco I think I'll do that today! Are you following me on Instagram (Naturally_High_Hair) and Facebook (facebook.com/naturallyhighhair)? I try to post regular photos of how I'm rocking my hair. If I do decide to rock those fat twists, it'll be because of you so stay tuned!
Sharee Minor Thanks! I totally understand why people do that: not everyone wants to invest so much time into taking care of their hair. It actually makes me really sad when I hear single strands snap when being manipulated. Hence, I can no longer manipulate my hair in any other way.
Hi Naturally High, do you ever have problems with lint stuck in your hair? I have to deal with that a lot because I braid my hair and leave it in for 4 to 6 weeks... I hate having to manipulate my hair all the time. Any ideas on how to deal with this? Btw, love your videos!
+Yara Priscilla Hey! This doesn't happen to me too often but here are some tips: - sleep on a satin pillowcase/ wear a satin scarf - oil your ends after moisturising with water - don't leave your brains in for longer than 6 weeks - be attentive to your hair while it's braided - inspect it!
Thanks for your amazing video! wanted to know if you have ever tried the roller set and wrap method to get a 'straightened look' and what your experience was like?
I would like a tutorial on 4c hair just to see how it would turn out and if it would be possible to get 4c hair relatively straight with silk wrapping, but it might be a hassle for you. Thanks so much for answering all my questions though. You've been super helpful!!
Alexia L I suppose so but I avoid that altogether by not brushing/combing it on mornings. I tend to style it before I go to sleep. That way, the satin cap lays the edges down nicely. Glad to hear you're a fan! :)
Hello! I really love your videos. Beautiful hair. My problem is finding products that I can buy locally. what kind of coconut oil should I use? I've been through tons of products.... 😟
Wow amazing. I wish I saw this video last year. I only started detangling from my roots. 2 months ago. A year earlier would have saved me lots of hair. Great video. Do you have hard water where you live?
I know what it's like to spend years struggling with detangling, only to find the solution 4 years after your big chop! This way, you'll appreciate it more! :D plus, now you know your hair better so you can tweak the technique accordingly. I do have hard water and I find coconut oil to be quite good at mitigating its effects.
Absolutely. Wear your hair in small twists and style those twists in 2 big canerows (cornrows), moisturising the ends every 3 days or so. Keep manipulation to a minimum and protective styling will get easier as you retain more length. Hope this helps! x
Beautiful hair! Such goals... What I wonder, though, is what impact a comb will have on my hair. I have 3C/4A hair and it's at 6 inches when stretched so about 3 inches when it's shrunk. Should I still finger detangle?
+Kena I think the question you should answer is 'does my hair break more when I comb it?'. If the answer is yes, then stick to finger detangling! Thank you!
Ive got a question for you.. You are studying in the Netherlands.. A science Master. Good. What are your planning, how do you balance studying and hair life? Are your hair regimen the same in the winter? I come from the Carribean as well, a French island, and now live in the UK to study. Ive done my last partly weave in June 2015. Ive always been natural until my mom decided one day to do it in my hair when I was about 16." I was shocked, having straight hair. I hated it, and I had a big hair damage after. Anyway. Now im transitioning for 8 months now. I wore protective style most of the time. But as im not used to the weather, I dont know what to do with my hair. Im pretty bad at caring. :-(
+Patricia Suivant Hey! I have a video on this from a while back that may help you: ruclips.net/video/-nc2N0SX4Uw/видео.html This is a more recent video in which I also share how I deal with the cold: ruclips.net/video/yFaT8fxsy2U/видео.html Hope these help!
Hey Asha, Great video! "Lol" hilarious and helpful video! I don't have that much hair yet to be overlooking twists lol, just kidding, I think overlooking twists has happen to us all, it just seems like more of a hassle since you have a ton of hair! I will try detangling from the roots first and see how it goes! The crown area of my head is very weird, it holds the most kinks in the roots but is the least in coily-ness if that makes sense. I haven't used a comb since May 2013, so I'll have to ease myself into that one, I heard way too much crackle sounds when combing and it scared me and I couldn't even tell you the last time I brushed my hair! Well thanks for sharing and enjoy the rest of your week!
kerducky using a comb is completely optional! Don't worry about doing it if you're trying to grow out your hair. BUUUT give it a go once just to see if it's possible if you do it in this way. I honestly thought it was impossible to comb my hair before (see my 25 minute detangling video - part 2). Please let me know how detangling from the roots works out for you.
Naturally High I definitely will try the comb again and detangling from the roots! My hair is still in the same protective style from 2 weeks ago but as soon as it's time to release the twists I will certainly try your method! I need one of those shower combs because the wide tooth comb I have has lil ridges like an indent or lining on the inside of the teeth and I think that's what makes that's what adds to the crackle sound I hear. I did comb my hair for the very 1st year of my journey but after learning of finger detangling it seemed weird to go back but I see you and other RUclipsr's using the comb and your hair looks great and you haven't had any breakage so that's reassuring that combs are ok here and there.
kerducky Okay, first of all I swear I'm not stalking you! I have used a comb three times in the past four years, and it is the big Conair shower comb that does the job for me. Any other comb and I hear the ol' snap crackle and pop.(I never did really like Rice Crispies anyway...)
Mimi Nwabuoku Hey Mimi Hey!! :) LOL, I know!! We're all bound to watch the a few of the same RUclipsrs! Conair shower comb check, thank you!! I've only had 1 comb and it came wit that weird "Instyler" tool so I guess it's not the best! "Hahaha lol", girl isn't that crackle pop sound horrible and frightening! I like Rice Crispies now, but in a bowl wit milk!
Oh h-----ll to the no, no wonder that comb was wildin' out on you. Those InStyler combs are made for folks with pin straight hair. I am suspicious of anything that wants to be all whirling dervish near my precious Mane.
Im a strict finger detangler. I never use combs or brushes. I'll see if this technique works but my strands break sooo easily and love being handled hands only. Im just not satisfied because im used to straight hair smh i miss the simplicity
Skyblue1477 Yes I have - during my transition. If you're considering getting them, make sure they're not too tight and keep a consistent moisturising régime!
Olive oil? You may like Avocado but its a bit more pricey. You can try mixing olive oil and coconut oil in a 50:50 ratio. I think the problem is that coconut oil solidifies in hair when its cool.
Hey Naturally High, Do you ever use the tangle teezer? After working the shed hairs to my ends, I sometimes use it to on my ends to remove the shed ends.
I've heard that the tangle teaser causes mid draft splits and/or split ends. NaturalMe4C made a video about it and she's had to trim them out months after the damage occurred. I think JC from thenaturalhavenbloom.com might have also made a blog post about it.
NG's Evidence tangle teezer caused my hair to thin and get splits mid strand. I ended having to cut 3 inches of my hair off that was 3 years ago. Never again.
Hi! I have in the past. Here are two videos to help you: - On preventing single strand knots in general: ruclips.net/video/ZulXAotxDB0/видео.html - On caring for your twists during the week (deals specifically with preventing those pesky knots): ruclips.net/video/JCvaV1roAFA/видео.html
hi dear I also leave Netherlands. p/s my little girl is 2 us now but her is not growing so good products for her hair & where can I buy it. Am Utrecht. p/s I need ur answer
Ogechi Fredie It's less about the products and more about how you care for her hair. Handling should be as gentle as possible and the hair should be protected from the cold.
Hi Naturally High my name is Shaun I been natural 2 years my goal is to grow my 4A/4B natural hair to tailbone length and I have a question I like finger detangle my natural hair is that okay because I don't like using the wide tooth comb to detangle my type 4 natural hair
omg this takes so much dedication...no lazy person can get long hair for sure 😥
Really? Rastas and others who wear locks hair grows long with out doing much other than shampooing and greasing/buttering/oiling hair.
awww good point :)
MemoGrafix Lucky them! No detangling!
I detest detangling.
+trianna2008 glad to hear!! Thanks for the support!
Maybe that's what I've been doing wrong. I will start from roots and see how that goes
There's a black professional stylist here on RUclips named Ladosha Wright and she says people are detangling all wrong. Thati it should actually be from the roots down.
I recently tried this detangling method on Lil Sis's hair (which is similar to yours) and it works!! Thanks for sharing.
DiscoveringNatural thank you for your comment! Detangling from the roots is a lifesaver!
I use this method when I take out braid/twist extensions because there's always matting near the root where the hair was attached. It definitely works! I would love to have my hair at your length and just wear the super chunky twists you have for washing. I'll just have to settle for Havana twists for now!

It just works better for me. :) I commend you for your dedication to your thick, long, amazing hair!! It gives me inspiration because you are like, my hair twin..
STAY GORGEOUS. xo
***** thank you so much for this comment HAIR TWIN! I really appreciate it. xx
Just did this and it was fabulous! Thanks for paying it forward.
Yaaay! Happy to help!
You are absolutely right to be in the right mood to detangle your natural hair. I was tired so i cut off some hair in the back. My hair grows slowly so that was a big mistake.
I approve. I've always detangled starting at the root -- even when I used combs (I only finger detangle now).
I see a lot of comments about this taking too long, but when you think about it, you're only doing this process on wash day. So basically once a week, or once every 2 weeks for some.
Way2Chy exactly! I spend hardly any time on my hair on a daily basis. X
i do this too but with fingers only. I've been finger detangling exclusively since March and my hair loves it. I usually wear it in twists anyway so it doesn't have to be completely detangled.
This is the way I detangle my hair. I actually don't think this is very different from the conventional "detangle the ends first" advice. ananse77 That's true! :)
You're so pretty inwardly and outwardly! I just love your vids! Keep em coming!
lol you are too cute. It's great to see a fellow 4c natural with such long hair. #goals
+NaturalCharm88 thank you very much!
Ashley Adams I will! It's on my list. Cleansers: Bobbi Brown Extra Bright/ Neutrogena Visibly Clear; moisturiser: Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil Free Moisturiser.
I tried this. Works like a charm! I use my wooden bristle paddle brush though.
You're absolutely stunning, and your hair is just gorgeous. Honestly, you give me so much hope for my crown. New subbie.
+Her Facade (Luv) Welcome to my channel! Just to let you know: there's lots of fresh content on my channel for you to enjoy!

Naturally High Thank you and your hair is simply amazing :) Keep up the good work. You have inspired so many.
@ 0.45 I like the way her hair shines like glitter. Really gorgeous hair & I'm hoping mine can look as good if I ever grow it at least shoulder length.
coraza naoro aw thank you! Are you growing it out?
+Naturally High thx for your reply. My goal is to get it healthy shoulder length, I'm an older woman, have not used any chemicals for over 2yrs now.
+coraza naoro Best of luck on your journey! Remember to be gentle when handling your hair, especially your ends.
Good luck!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful teaching information and tips on how to detangle hair.
I have a 6yr old daughter. She has long 4c hair and she is extremely tender headed. Hopefully these tips will make detangling more bearable.
I am loving those medium sized twist
Chauncey Butler Butler Thanks! Just because you said that, I'll rock chunky twists as my next protective style. Thanks for all your support!
The music reminds me of Lilo and Stitch sandwich stacker
Emmanuella Aryee is this a good thing? I'd like to get better music but it has to be royalty free.
Yes, it's great! The music reminds me of childhood Lilo and Stitch games, that's all. Good job detangling, tho! :)
I totally played that game on the computer. Good Times
I like your demonstration and as my hair has grown to bra length this makes sense. I also have found lint and stuff my hair not found by finger detangling, so gently combing my hair is a good idea. Thanks
Nice thorough explanation and reiterations.
Detangling from the roots makes my hair fall and break off but I'm glad you've found a way that works for you :)
+Destinie Sorry to hear that! Have you found something suited to your hair type for detangling?
+Naturally High Yup! I do the finger detangling method you use, I just go without the comb and start from the ends going up :).
Nice! I especially liked the end because I frequently forget one piece or section of hair.
Soo annoying, right?
YES! This is my exact detangling method! Especially the knot removal technique. That lift out method is the business! i only use a comb every 3 months and my method is very similar! The music on your video is so funky! I had a 70s flashback! LOL~ Great Video!
monnie j Soooo happy to hear that you like the music! Thanks for commenting!
I usually detangle roots-first, too. It does seem to help, vs ends-first.
+sunflowershine it's the best!
I use the same method of finger detangling from the roots, in the past I used to start from the ends but there was too much knotting going on, so for me starting from the roots work. Stay Blessed!

luwakw01 A coincidence indeed! Great minds think alike! Happy to hear detangling's got easier for you!
Love this video lol.
Binge watching your old videos
Could u do a video on your wash routine please? Thank u :)
+serenitylopez Hey! It's up! ruclips.net/video/PYVqWJDJWzw/видео.html
Naturally High
your hair is awesome! I hope that some day mine will reach a length like yours ^-^
Aisha Camara thank you! If you nurture it, it will! x
Way to go! That all i do strictly finger detangle. It works for me. My hair is fuller and thicker 😀
You should try the Aussie moist conditioner the slip is amazing for detangling and the you can't beat the price as well
I've tried it and I strongly disagree!
Thanks for this great tutorial. Your hair is so beautiful. I can't wait to reach this length.
Rachel Kendall So glad you like it! How's your hair doing?
Great video, and I REALLY enjoyed your wacky sense of humor! I'm subscribing!
+India DarkMoon Thank you!
Can I use olive oil instead of the coconut oil?
Never tried detangling from the roots! I'll give it a shot on my wash day .
NaturallyBee It's been a week... Have you tried it? How did it go?
Yes ! I tried this method last saturday! and it made detangle with my Denman brush so much more easier after using your method first!
+NaturallyBee Yaaay!
Product tips please.... that I can buy from Walmart, Target, Sally's, etc.
Hi that's how I detangle mine but thanks for the advice about using a lot of product because I usually don't when I watched this vid and added more oil it was much easier. I am 9 months post relaxer and I should have been using more product all this time Lol.

+Naturally High 😊will do I need motivation lol
I'm always frustrated on my wash day.. It takes so much time and patience !
I love your hair it's beautiful!!
Beautiful hair! Very helpful.
+naturalsystah thank you! Thrilled to be of assistance.
Honestly if and when my hair gets that long I'd just keep it in a few twists like how you wash your hair.
+InternationalCoco I was just thinking the same lol
+InternationalCoco I think I'll do that today! Are you following me on Instagram (Naturally_High_Hair) and Facebook (facebook.com/naturallyhighhair)? I try to post regular photos of how I'm rocking my hair. If I do decide to rock those fat twists, it'll be because of you so stay tuned!

Awesome detangling session!
***** thank you!
Excellent how gentle you r with your hair. I'm the same way. But i c more people just drag the comb and brush along the hair shaft. Yikes!

Thank you for the video. it's funny can detangle anyone elses hair but mine.... I always get overwhelmed. Thick 4c is a workout lol
+MIMI TREMBLE it can take a long time! :) I know the feeling.
Thanks for your amazing video! wanted to know if you have ever tried the roller set and wrap method to get a 'straightened look' and what your experience was like?
ireneae1 I haven't used rollers since I was relaxed! I feel as though it would be really time-consuming. Do you have a tutorial you'd like to forward?
I would like a tutorial on 4c hair just to see how it would turn out and if it would be possible to get 4c hair relatively straight with silk wrapping, but it might be a hassle for you. Thanks so much for answering all my questions though. You've been super helpful!!
Hmm... I'll see what I can do!
Keep Up the Good work nice job
Princess Carver Thank you for your feedback and support!
Hey girl, I have straight hair but still like your vídeos, in the morning do you have a hard time brushing it?
Alexia L I suppose so but I avoid that altogether by not brushing/combing it on mornings. I tend to style it before I go to sleep. That way, the satin cap lays the edges down nicely. Glad to hear you're a fan! :)
Great vid! Liked the tips on when not to detangle hair...funny.
Hello! I really love your videos. Beautiful hair. My problem is finding products that I can buy locally. what kind of coconut oil should I use? I've been through tons of products.... 😟
I have been de-tangling from the root as well. It's way easier.
Oh how I love ur hair can't wait to reach that length how long have u been natural?
zporota 5 years this month (since my big chop after a 9 month transition).
I do have hard water and I find coconut oil to be quite good at mitigating its effects.
new subbie here! . wow ur hair is amazingly beautiful! .. certainly my hair goal! omg!

+MONALOC06 thank you Hun!!!
Loved this tutorial!!💖
C Babe happy to hear that!
AWESOME video!
Shay Young thank you! x
Could you recommend a protective style for really short hair? I"m just getting started. Still have some perm left on ends. Thanks. Love your vids!
Thank you!
Great Video! How long did the combined twist removal and detangling take?
Anna Thomas Since I was filming and the twists were old, about 2 hours.
I have a video on this from a while back that may help you: ruclips.net/video/-nc2N0SX4Uw/видео.html
This is a more recent video in which I also share how I deal with the cold: ruclips.net/video/yFaT8fxsy2U/видео.html
Hope these help!
+Naturally High THANNNKKKSSS.. GONNA WATCH IT
I detangle my hair this same way, though i only use my hands now.
Muslissa Clever! You'll retain more length that way!
The mood thing was hilarious! It's true. You will rip out your hair if you are in any other mood than happy,
Hey Asha, Great video!
Oh my lanta .. found you on ig raced to youtube i need this badly! ❤️🤣
Future hair goals
Have you ever gotten box braid extensions?
Skyblue1477 Yes I have - during my transition. If you're considering getting them, make sure they're not too tight and keep a consistent moisturising régime!
Your hair, though. It's BEAUTIFUL. Wow. 👀
+Healthy Soul Thank you!!!
See you wearing your BAHS ring!! Proud hilarian spreading the love all over your channel
Nice job! 🌹
So, my 4c hair really doesn't like coconut. Can you give me an alternative?
Olive oil? You may like Avocado but its a bit more pricey. You can try mixing olive oil and coconut oil in a 50:50 ratio. I think the problem is that coconut oil solidifies in hair when its cool.
Its alot of hard work but you have nice hair. How long did it take you to grow it that length?
+holistic79 I got to waist length (2013) 3 years after I big chopped (2010) after a 9 month transition.
Hey Naturally High,
Do you ever use the tangle teezer? After working the shed hairs to my ends, I sometimes use it to on my ends to remove the shed ends.
I've heard that the tangle teaser causes mid draft splits and/or split ends. NaturalMe4C made a video about it and she's had to trim them out months after the damage occurred. I think JC from thenaturalhavenbloom.com might have also made a blog post about it.
AlllSmiless Oh really! Hmmm This could explain my thinner ends. Could you do me a huge favor and message me the links to NaturalMe4C video?
NG's Evidence tangle teezer caused my hair to thin and get splits mid strand. I ended having to cut 3 inches of my hair off that was 3 years ago. Never again.
NG's Evidence I have used a Tangle Teezer many times but I feel my show comb is the safer option for my delicate tresses.
AlllSmiless exactly!
And I do the same thing with pulling loose hairs out of knots! hahaha :D doing that helped me save a lot of hair cutting.
+sunflowershine Dusting is the way forward; otherwise, you waist so much hair!
Please anyone, What is the summary of the trick please?
I wish I could give this video a hundred likes. This is how I untangle my hair!!! Love it!
How long does it take you to do your entire head this way? Lazy natural here 🙈
+lisa k Less than 2 hours (based on fortnightly detangling). It can take even less time if you do it more frequently!
+Naturally High oh wow thanks so much for replying! Will give it a try and try to love my hair more :)
@@NaturallyHigh and how often do you de tangle the entire head?? Thank you for your help

Do you ever get knots at the end of your twists? If so how do you deal with them?
Hi! I have in the past. Here are two videos to help you:
- On preventing single strand knots in general: ruclips.net/video/ZulXAotxDB0/видео.html
- On caring for your twists during the week (deals specifically with preventing those pesky knots): ruclips.net/video/JCvaV1roAFA/видео.html
hi dear I also leave Netherlands. p/s my little girl is 2 us now but her is not growing so good products for her hair & where can I buy it. Am Utrecht. p/s I need ur answer
Ogechi Fredie It's less about the products and more about how you care for her hair. Handling should be as gentle as possible and the hair should be protected from the cold.
Naturally High this is so true I'm not a big fan of commercial product guy I just love to keep it simple regime
Hair goal!!!!!!!!!!
SpoiledWifeP1 Good luck!!!
Tip for making detangling less of a chore: put on a movie or your favourite netflicks
Soooo much hair ❤️
Que cabelo lindo parabéns
How long does it take you to detangle your entire head of hair?
AnArchaicSoul 1-3 hours.
Naturally High 1-3 hours 😭😭 I don't have time for that
Yeah it takes me 3 hours every week. :/ Sigh... I'm sure it could go faster but I finger detangle.
Hi Naturally High my name is Shaun I been natural 2 years my goal is to grow my 4A/4B natural hair to tailbone length and I have a question I like finger detangle my natural hair is that okay because I don't like using the wide tooth comb to detangle my type 4 natural hair
