So, a bit of context on the clip involving the paramedics not entering the zone:
They were not "banned" by the occupants of the Zone (only the police were), but paramedics do not enter a scene until the police can declare the scene safe. This is to ensure that the scene is secure and the paramedics can work safely without worrying about either being attacked (which has happened) or injured themselves by other sources, like a fire or other dangerous condition.
The paramedics literally couldn't enter because, since the police were not allowed into the Zone, it couldn't be cleared, thus the paramedics refused to enter for their own safety and due to their own protocols.
What the bystander who was telling the paramedics doesn't understand is that, it is because the police couldn't enter that the paramedics wouldn't enter.

You'd have to pay me a huge amount of money to get me to go to Seattle, and I'm saying that as an above average sized guy who used to work in Executive Protection, not that I'm amazing, I just happen to be less insecure in environments than your average person might be, due to training and experience.
