Crow Attacks Nest Steals Eggs AGAIN!!

- Unfortunately it has happened again and a crow has attacked the dove nest and stolen the eggs. One of the eggs was only 3 hours old.
It is sad and annoying and I hate posting these videos but it is nature and shows the perils the doves and most small birds live through.
This is partly why the doves lay 4-5 batches of 2 eggs per year.
I don't know if they will come back but if they do I'll put another camera out there with a speaker in it so I can shout at any attacking crows and hopefully scare them off.
Sorry to everyone watching, it sucks but that's nature at times.

dang i can see the sadness in the dove’s eyes
Noooooooooooooooooo
They are not having a good year.
I've got one, I was just about to put it up earlier in the week and then she appeared and laid the first egg so I couldn't.
I'm looking into options for making them a house.
I'm afraid it likely happened again today, as it's no live stream now. I hope, Bernard and Ethel are fine.
they need to learn to defend :(
doves cant defend against crows or hawks their claws and deadly peck can just easily kill them, they need to find a safer place and build a better nest, i hope they find a better spot or those crows will constantly eat their eggs :(
@@DivisCan I saw wood pigeon standing her ground on nest against two hooded crows and she managed to made them fly away, I know doves are smaller but here he/she simply got scared and flies off

Really miss Ethel and Bernard. Unfortunately, that crow is too wise. . . just want the best for them.
Did you see what happened yesterday?
I missed what happened to them, and I can only hope they were not attacked directly.
If only the egg is lost, then it will be the chance for them to get the roof while they're away.
They are fine but the crow took the egg again. I have now put a roof on the nest but they don't like it and haven't come back, yet. They are up a nearby tree. They'll probably nest somewhere else, where the will be safe from the crow.
@@CampCookExplore Thank you for the reply CCE! Oh a roof sounds wonderful, that would be so cool if they could get comfortable with it, then we could see them again,…
@@martonszurdoki5839 No I did not catch that broadcast, but happy to report they are both doing fine per CCE’s update below!! Yes the egg was taken again :(. Perhaps now they may be looking for a new more private location to nest…
