    Always very good instructional videos. I dont know anyone else going in depth with any camera more than you have with the A6000. That's why I haven't wanted to change or upgrading it. I have learned so much. Thanks!

    You approach to instructional videos is excellent. I'll be going on a tour of Europe next May and have decided to pick up a Sony a6000 for the trip. This will be my first true digital camera (apart from phone cam) so these kind of vids are exactly what I've been looking for. I did some photography back in high school many moons ago with my old Pentax SLR but I've forgotten most of what I had learned during that time.
    I had been looking at the Sony SEL35F18 as my likely second lens after the Kit lens but was hesitant to lay out the cash before regaining a little more knowledge and skill. The Meike lens is perfect for learning the art again!

    I’m using this same lens with my a6500, I watched and found this video helpful to knock the rust off, haven’t used a manual lens in a while and have been testing the zone focusing the same way he demonstrated in the video, with the action hero figure at the focul distance in feet, I also flip the back panel up on the camera to kind of use it like look down viewfinder camera, great video, subscribed, thank you for taking the time to put the video together and posting it

    Good video. I mostly shoot with vintage lenses with my A6000, and I have about 30 of them in my collection. I enjoy using manual focus. I usually use AF lenses for moving subjects. Instead of using M mode, I normally use the A mode so I can just ignore the shutter speed. I also set Auto ISO, so the camera will automatically adjust ISO and shutter speed. On occasions, I use S or M mode.

    • @lovemetu
      @lovemetu 5 лет назад +1

      @@shunel8407 Portrait lenses are more around 85mm to 100mm with the choice of a wide aperture if possible F2 to F2.8. A 35mm lens is very suitable for a perfect walk around lens for taking street photography or any type of photography when you are traveling. The focusing on wide angle lenses is not as critical as telephoto lenses.

    Great lens, I have use it for a month, and feels good, especially for potrait mode, but, have a soft vignette affect in edge of the picture.
