Now... this is the way a tutorial/teaching video should be made. As a beginner in the photography world, this video really helped me a lot! Direct to the point, practical examples, excelent and simple explanations. Keep up the good work sir!
the effort you made to make this video might be par beyond my understanding. Just here to say...even after these many years it's been helping many like me in a very EFFECTIVE way! Thank you 💚
Good afternoon..... Just wanted to stop by to tell you that i am a flyer of drones and while there are many factors and degrees of difficulty filming and taking photos, drones for me is more like flying cellphone photography. i recently traded in my Sony A5000 for a Sony A6600....a BIG upgrade for me....and found myself trying to learn to use a camera again. Watching this video has been more helpful to me than any other video that i’ve seen. Just wanted to say thak you for making it easier than a parent teaching a child to drive “the good” car for the very first time....I have also found that this tutorial has been help filming and photographing with my drones.....Stepping things up a knotch manually and less automatic mode...Thanks Again....ATeeGee
i've taken a beginner photo class several times over the past 20 years years. I always leave feeling like I know what I'm doing, and then realize I'm doing it all wrong once I get into the real world. This 20 minutes was so much effective than anything I've heard before. Thank you!
I am a teacher and I just discovered your channel. I have to congratulate you. The way you teach is excellent ! I just purchased this camera and I was looking for a good beginners training. Well, I did not find a good beginners training. I found an excellent training for every level because you explaining here the "basics of photography". Congratulations, you have won a new subscriber.
This video couldn't be any better. I literally just bought my first camera (an a6000) ever and wow I was lucky to stumble upon this amazing tutorial, which is pretty much a free class. Many thanks!!
3yrs later, but I just saw this video and must say, is one of the best tutorials I've see. Really appreciate you taking the time to do this, learned a whole lot from it!!
I bought the A6000 a month ago and am struggling to take decent photos indoors and out. After watching your tutorial I realized the mistakes that i've made and how to improve myself. Thank you! I have a brain and I'm smart! Haha!
For me the split screen with the menu on the left and the physical button manipulation on the right was very effective. Your time in post to do this is greatly appreciated.
I didn't worry or care about the technical aspects of my camera until I recently bought a manual 35mm lens. So, I've been put in the position of having to learn, just not wanting to do it the hard way. That being written, out of the videos I've found, yours was the easiest to follow. I'm actually lacking the anxiety I was prior to watching/following. Confident even. Thank you!
Just bought the a6000 yesterday with no experience whatsoever in photography. This video helps! Will try it with the camera when I get back from work. Good stuff!
Thank you for showing me how to you achieve a correct exposure. I had a wrong setting and could not "see" nor "control" in camera to adjust my shutter speed and aperture in order to achieve a correct exposure. This is SO important and not explained in several tutorials about manual setting and Sony cameras.
not only is this just a fantastic video that is quite helpful for someone new to cameras with essentially zero prior knowledge, but we got my boy Nate representing in the whole video! It made me chuckle at multiple times. Great work!
Wow this was great. Im a radiographer (xray technologist) and new to photography and we use alot of similar concepts in radiography with diff turms (kVp, mA and second) in order to control motion on patients. Great video thanks.
I cant thank you enough. I am a beginner and my understanding (+ photos) just improved by a lightyear! You teach very well and you have a new subscriber! Thanks.
THANK YOU FOR BREAKING THIS DOWN SO SIMPLY! So many tutorials are already too advanced for me (a real real beginner). THANK YOU! I have restored faith I can learn how to use this thing
Thanks a ton man. Now I finally know how to use my camera on manual mode and it sure elevates the picture quality significantly. The only video that explained all the features so well. Great work man
Just wanted to say thank you! I really enjoyed getting to learn about the relations of these three functions in different scenarios. I am a total beginner, who's quite overwhelmed by all the settings of the A6000, but this helped me a lot grasping those concepts! Very helpful and I'll definitely use my brain after watching this! :)
This was fantastic. I am a newBIE and I wanted to take photos of my real estate listings. I'm using a6000 with a Sigma 16MM F1.4 DC DN Lens. I need my pictures to be totally Focused. This video was right on for me. My listing photos have never been better. Thanks for what you do you are appreciated.
thank you for this tutorial, it's March 2019 and i only recently acquired this camera.. first proper camera for me other than a smartphone. I am a complete beginner and has zero knowledge. I only have the 16-50mm kitlens at the moment.
Hands down, one of the best instructional videos on (general) photography. I have the a5000 and I'm familiar with the settings yet I learned some new things. Gonna watch the tutorial with the kit lens next.
Really great tutorial, 2020 and i got the a6000 as my entry into photography. I like the tutorials for lower price range equipment, makes it more relevant to most viewers.
I'm about to buy my first legit camera ( Sony A6000) and your videos are helping me a lot to understand how to take great photos. This will help me a lot on my trip to Japan next month, Thank you for your time and effort.
It's been 5 years since you made this but still an awesome tutorial. Beginner here that just got a used a6000 and already learned a lot from watching this video alone
I'm looking to buy my first camera in the next few days. I was stuck on A6000 and the Nikon D3400, but after watching this video, I'm now leaning on the A6000. I definitely subscribed and a fan after this video! Keep it up! You're a great teacher!
Thanks Oscar. I appreciate the kind words. There are a handful more a6000 tutorials and guides on the channel to help with your decision when you get an a6000.
i just bought a6000 and its my 1st ever camera ^^ ... and i wanna learn more about it using the kit lens also with E55-210mm .. hope you upload a tutorial using those lens .. :)
The One the kit lens are decent when plenty of light is around, they are not so good in low light, you need to use a flash to get great shots or up your iso, but then you have noisy pictures.
VERY GOOD TEACHING BRO! I have no idea in manual exposures and will be getting my first camera the a6000 next week. But you have taught me so much. keep rocking on bruh! Thank you so much! Cheers!
I love love your videos! I just bought the a6000 last evening, many peeps told me to buy the latest model but I have no knowledge of photography at all so do not really want to pay too much for one.. your videos help me a lot, I’ll be exploring my camera now, thanks!
