Thank you for your EZ instructions on this applied border. I am currently knitting it on one of my shawls and it's beautiful! Thank you for your videos!
Absolutely stunning, and perfect for the project I’m working now, excited to add this to my ka’ana shawlette. Thank you so much for this great video, your instructors are excellent. I just completed the Saroyan as well so I’m excited to continue the leafy motive.
I really appreciate your video you explain so well AND you knit and purl the way I do, so wonderful to see it!!! I found a video teaching it and it said it is the Russian way. I have not gone back to the old way.
What a helpful video, even now, more than three years after its release! I personally really enjoy the look of this border and am already thinking of a lot of ways to use up some of my stash making a scarf with this kind of edge. May I ask why you seem to always knit through the back loop? I can't tell whether it's the pattern that calls for it or whether there is a technical reason for it? I am asking because I am a bit nervous that I will end up twisting the stitches if I apply the technique without fully comprehending why I'm doing it first.
I am so confused. I am knitting the Ruska Shawl by Darling Jadore. The pattern references your RUclips tutorial tp attach my lace border. I have completed the body of my shawl. Instructions say "do not bind off." Do I cut the yarn? somewhe
Pl tell what should I do to attach a lace edging for a finished Rectangle Knitted Shawl?Because it's 75 inches long ,live stitches only on wider portion where I have completed. Should I make a knitted edging independently and then add it by sewing with Tapestry needle.
It's just a different knitting style. Russian style I believe. Knits are done through the back loop but the yarn is wrapped clockwise instead of counterclockwise so the stitches are not twisted. As well as being a traditional style for people who grew up with it, it's faster or more comfortable for some people.
I see they use this leaf pattern with bobbles on alot of baby items.... Please please can you teach is this beautiful leaf detail on bloomers or a baby onsie 🙏🏻 please
I never expect a reply back. But I got it now. Thank you so much. You the only one that has a tutorial. Wish I could show you a picture of what I have knitted 🧶
It's interesting but why would you do this? Why not just knit it with the original knitting? Is it so that the original knitting runs at a different angle?
Yes, the edge is evidently knitted perpendicular to the knit of the shawl. What I don't understand is why the knit stitches are knit through the back loop of the left needle.
Thank you, Teo. Your tutorial was so clear and comprehensive, and gave me the confidence to attempt knitting a border on a blanket I'm making.
Thank you so much! This was exactly the technique in a pattern I bought that I found so confusing. This made it clear what I need to do!
Thanks for the chart. It takes a while to get confidant with it.

Mi dispiace ma il video non spiega tutto il punto ...

Thank you wow beautiful work. I am certainly creating this ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 👏 🙌
Excellent video, very inspirational.
Beautiful pattern. Wish you had done one entire leaf all the way through. Had trouble with row 7 and row 9
just a quick question why do you knit through the back loop when you are just knitting
I also want to know ... have seen it often on videos
This was so helpful! Thank you very much!

Why did you begin your lace work on the demo, from the opposite end?

My pattern does border first and then pick up 57 stitchs but I don't know what to do with the 6 border stitchs
Thank you so much!

Awesome!Awesome! Awesome!
Hi this pattern is no longer available at Ravelry. Will you willing to share yours? Thanks you
Thank you!
Is there any technical reason that you twist all of the knit stitches?

Really would have enjoyed the whole leaf knitting specially the slp2p stitch
I will keep that in mind and plan to film a video tutorial specifically for the leaf 🌿

Atleast demonstrate the full 14 rows on normal speed video. Its a tutorial after all.
Background music is very distracting!
Lower the volume, it will help
Il video non spiega niente solo i primi giri ...
